Took my son to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on a Saturday morning. Got there a little early and the doors were lock but that was ok. All the employees were nice. Wasn't quite sure how the pre purchased popcorn and drink thing work but I was able to show my info from my purchase to them and they promptly provided me with my order. While I wasn't a huge fan of the actual movie the overall theater was nice. The sound quality was very good as well as the popcorn and the ability to make any drink that you want with the coke machines. Only complaint: Wish they had bathrooms for both genders on both sides of the theater so I wouldn't have to miss as much of a movie walking to the men's room on the other side of the building. read more

Saw The Odyssey in the IMAX. The film is amazing, but the theater... not so much. Both our seats were worn and leaned in an odd angle that amounted to over three hours of torture. Our backs were killing us during and after the movie. The IMAX experience was mediocre as the screen is smaller than most. The sound was not great and way too loud. The theater as a whole is tired and in bad need of updating and cleaning. It was hot in the theater. Bathrooms are filthy. The "large" $12 bucket of popcorn is 20% smaller than it was last time we came. I will not be returning. read more

This is in an affluent area: The Collection in Cumming GA. And stores at The Collection attract shoppers with a little money. But this AMC Theater is one of the shabbiest in all of metro Atlanta! Just a month ago I was at the AMC Southlake in Morrow, Georgia - a decidedly less advantaged area - and enjoyed wide leather seats that reclined or set you upright. Here in Cumming, however, we get shabby red cloth seats that possibly rock, but my seat never set up right it only stayed in a slightly backward incline. We chose the pristine Chrystal clear vision, Theatre, and what we got was a slightly blurry and muffled sound movie experience. This is what a $20 ticket will get you. Had parking took my son to see the Minecraft movie. First of all movie was awesome. Second, the movie theater itself was pretty good and pretty clean. Staff was really friendly and it didn't take that long in concession. Other than that. I would definitely recommend kid friendly they had all the Minecraft Stuff they were promoting that big but not that small. read more

The people scanning tickets at the entrance refused to let my brother in to use the restroom and was very rude.

The management here acts like police officers. They harassed me when I went to the bathroom, asked me if the slushy I got at the concession stands was bought here, even though it literally said AMC on the cup and they bogarted the door to the theatre because my 16 year olds were watching a rated R movie. What kind of power trip bullshit is this? There is NO law against 16 year olds watching a rated R movie in this state!! It didn't say NC-17 it said rated R. They forced me to buy a ticked and stay in the theatre even though I told them my kids had permission to see the movie. They came into the theatre at least 7-8 times to "check up on me" I felt like I was being detained. I will NEVER go to this theatre again. read more

I honestly never leave a bad review only good ones, but I think that's why we are having the issues we do now with companies and businesses. My Daughter asked me to pick up a Billie Eilish popcorn bucket for her since she would be unable to do it. Her being such a huge fan I agreed. I called this establishment a week before I actually went and they told me I had to be there on a certain day at a certain time to get this bucket as no one could get them early. My daughter has drove me crazy and I broke away from a very busy day I had planned to go to this theater to get this bucket for her after speaking to an employee guaranteeing me come first serve, but they had a plethora of buckets on hand. I an hour early expecting balloons and a parade and instead there were seven people going to a movie. one woman making popcorn and a girl selling tickets. I entered the theater and when I mentioned the bucket they looked like I had walked into a McDonald's and ordered a whopper. No one knew anything and they went looking for this magical bucket that was only going to be handed out at this specific time and at this location because it was so secretive and going to be this big deal. A woman then arrived back and told me they had been handed out at a fan function and there were no more. I explained to her that I had been informed This was the only time those could be picked up and she looked at me like I had three heads. At the end of the day it's just a popcorn bucket but when you advertise or give information out to patrons you should stand behind that and make it exciting and fun and have them on hand because just like my daughter there are fans out there that are very excited and looking forward to these little pieces of memorabilia of their favorite singers, movie stars or whatever. I truly hope AMC theater does a better job on any future promotions or information they give out whether it's an employee or someone in training please have someone answering the phones or in their promotional department do a better job than this. The General Manager does nothing. Asked three times for help, and all three times she was in the back office. She aided another patron in filing a false police report. The customers are on their phones and talking - management did nothing. The popcorn was all crumbs and had to go back twice to make it right. I go to the movies a lot because I am an AMC Prime Stubs member. I also travel down to this AMC theater quite often. If I could rate two different things with two different "star rates" I would. I would give the movie selection and seats a 3-4 STAR, and most of the time I can tolerate the volume of the movie. But I am a woman, and the ladies bathroom is atrocious! I was there this evening, and after leaving the bathroom before my movie, I let the staff know that it needed to be cleaned and that it needed toilet paper. I visited the bathroom after my movie, and nothing had really changed. I was extremely disappointed and thought it would be important to place this on YELP. AMC theaters are good theaters, and most of the time they are fine. But I have noticed that cleaning the bathrooms is now a nonexistent priority. It makes me very sad! read more

I've been here a few times, and recently went back to see Black Widow with the fam after it had been released for a few weeks. We purchased tickets online ahead of time, chose a late night showing and chose our seats. We arrived a few minutes early and got our tickets from the ticket booth. We stopped to get some candy and drinks, which if you've ever been to the movies you know is overpriced, but I guess it's part of the experience. There were several people in our auditorium, but it wasn't packed. Plenty of seats open in between rows and groups of people. The seats were comfortable as we sat there for over 2 hours. The entire movie theatre was in decent shape. It wasn't immaculate, but it wasn't dirty either. We don't go to the movies often, but would probably come back here. read more

Had an issue using an online gift card for a purchase and then a bigger issue as I attempted to cancel and refund tickets back to the gift card. We visit this location at least one to two times a week. We are AMC STUBS Premier members too. There are two IMAX theaters at this location and a MacGuffins for adult beverages. We are very happy that this location is so close to us. There is a reservation system that you should take advantage of. I would think this location is the busiest movie theater in forsyth county. The food selection is very diverse. Much more than popcorn and soda. You should try the giant German Pretzel. It's gigantic and yummy. $14 tho. It's worth it. read more

I have been going to this theater for years, and generally I love it! It has great space, the staff are super friendly, and it's in close proximity to the rest of the avenues, so there's plenty of opportunity to go get food/shopping around your movie. However, I have taken off one star for this specific visit as the aisle I was sitting in was not cleaned for some reason, and there was trash in our cup holders and popcorn still on the floor. However, this is the first time this has happened, so I hope it's a one time event. read more

I love a little bit of spontaneity! My Young King asked could we go to the movies and have a mommy son date. Say less! I am an AMC Stubs member so it was easy to order tickets on the app. I'm so glad that I did. We got there and the line to purchase tickets was extremely long. The kids are out of school today so I'm sure that had something to do with it. We saw Sing 2. Sing 2 was a wonderful movie. We actually enjoyed this better than Sing 1. Of course, we had to stop by the concession stand. They used to have mini burger sliders but they no longer carry them. Unfortunately, that is what he was looking forward to having today. I ordered us both nachos and the kid that was checking us out barely placed them close to me so that I could reach them easily. He didn't seem unbothered that I had to extend my arm close to him to grab them. The customer service is truly lacking today. They really need to do a better job with the upkeep of the movie theatre. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. I went to the urinal and there were distrusting flies everywhere. I also purchased a fountain drink and they were out of the majority of fountain drink options. I had to go to 3 fountain machines to find Coke. This is a decent movie theater that's relatively close to my house. There are 12 screens so the options are usually pretty good to see what's currently out. Most of the seating here is not assigned seating so when a popular movie is out you need to get here early to get decent seats. Also they do not recline like many of the newer theaters. Available to eat here are just typical movie snack options. Also there's a bar in the main lobby were you can get beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Often times we pre-order our tickets using an option like Fandango so we just print our tickets when we get there or scan the barcode at the entry. Parking is plentiful so we have always been able to park close with a short walk to the theater. read more

Went to this AMC theater on a Tuesday afternoon and it was completely empty. The ticket guy was very friendly and the lady at the concessions stand was also very nice and helpful. The movie had about 15-20 people in it, but you weren't sitting right next to anyone if you did t want to. The theater was clean and tb chairs are comfortable but they don't recline. The popcorn was delicious and you can add your own butter on top of what they have. The soda machine is awesome! It's not just fountain drinks but you can have any type of soft drink. read more

Definitely no way it is checked regularly. Door disgusting, door disgusting, tampon dispenser soooooo gross, toilet really really rough...no way, NO WAY I'd take my children into that bathroom. No way I'd change a diaper on that changing table. NO. W. A. Y. I feel like this could have dropped the entire experience to 2 stars, but can I really lower a review of a theater based on the family restroom? Honestly y'all...it might just have been that bad. It was really empty on a Saturday night. No excuse to not clean the restrooms regularly. I'm talking this one probably hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in months. So gross. I looked for an employee or manager to alert to this when I was leaving and couldn't find anyone. We used to be AMC Prime members, prior to covid. We are going to the movies a lot less these days. But, the last two times I have gone have been sorely disappointing. Where is the management? The staff needs training and directive. The first time they were hanging out at the ticket booth, some staff members on the floor hanging out talking to the one's managing the window. Yesterday, every staff member with their nose in their cell phone, one hanging out just talking with what seemed to be a friend ... for more than ten minutes, just chatting it up with nothing to do. All the while the concession area and restrooms are a mass mess! Trash all over the floor and every open counter space filthy. Are we paying less to attend the movies that we should receive such horrific service? I took several photos to which the staff was initially oblivious of, as they were busy socializing or with their noses in the cell phones? One staff member got in my face and told me they were on break. Why would they be taking break at the front desk? Although I could see their sodas and iced coffee drinks all over the counter ... and nothing was being done, so maybe ALL of them were on break at the same time? It's very easy for a family to spend a good amount of money here ... but, not for this kind of terrible service. So today I am trying to order tickets for a show that starts at 1430, unable to order any tickets for any show. So I call the 800 number for help and that was a big mistake. After telling the lady, that I was unable to order any tickets thru their website or fandango, she said that she would pass it along to the IT division and they would get back to me. Then she went further to state the reason I would be unable to by tickets was because the theater was shut down. But amazingly I could go to other movie theater websites and buy tickets right this moment. Unable to contact the the theater being their is not direct number into the movie theater.
