They need to have lines flowing smoothly like Clark Cinemas in Enterprise. You can get tickets and find your seats and then come back for food. Having to buy tickets and food at same spot causes extreme hold up to customers. read more

I took my son and total group of 4 to the movies for his birthday. The movie was great. The expensive refreshments were not. All of us couldn't eat the popcorn because it was way too salty. The drinks were watered down tasteless. There was a lot of noise coming from the back and someone complained. Instead of letting them know, the short brown headed girl with glasses came over too us about the complaints. We told her it wasn't us but she kept on and on interrupting our enjoyment of the movie. I told her about the salty popcorn and she brushed it off well I can get you some more popcorn but we've had complaints blah blah blah, like I want more of the uneatable popcorn. Then the folks that complained about the noise moved right in front of us (lol) because it was never solved (she went to the wrong folks). We will never choose that theater again. EVER read more

Today I received the best service I have ever gotten at this theater. Everyone was so nice when we were checking in. Then we got to our movie and we realized it was much colder than usual. We toughed it out for maybe an hour. Then I got up and went into the lobby to see if they had anything hot to drink. The answer was no but the person I assume was the manager offered me a blanket. I asked how much and she said nothing ,she was just giving it to me. Well that warmed my heart. I knew I had tons of little blankets at home and had no need for another one but I thought there might be some little guy in the theater that would like the Superman blanket. So before I left I walked over and ask a group of young men that also had a young boy with and they were delighted. The big boys seem to want it more than the little boy did, which tickled to me. I took my Grandchildren to see Zootopia 2 today for the 1:30 showtime. The lobby was very full, almost all the way to the front door. There were two lines for tickets and concessions, one for the priority customers and the other line for the rest of us. There were two or three employees for the priority line and one employee for the rest of us who can't or won't pay extra to be served. This is insulting for your customers who will not pay extra to feel special. This priority line makes some customers better than others, and it is an insult to the rest of us who do not feel special. read more

This was a super clean theatre. Comfy chairs. The staff was friendly. The restrooms clean. The movie selection about right. I didn't try the snacks. But, seemed to have the normal fare; and you can order ahead. If you're used to AMC in other Metros a few notes, no late shows (nothing after 6:30ish-6:45) & no reserved seating. My reduction of a star is for no show times after working hours :( read more

Tried out this place. Pandemic protocols are in place so right now, they're not open every day...usually Friday thru Sunday. I caught a movie on a holiday Monday. So check online for showtimes before you go. No one was manning the ticket booth...so I had to buy my ticket at the concession stand. Ticket prices are not bad. I can't comment on the food or those prices as I didn't partake in that area. I understand that one of the theaters has reclining seats. The screen I was in did not. But the seats we're still nice enough and they ramped up nicely...meaning that if someone tall were to take the seat in front of you, your view probably wouldn't be impacted much. Right now, under pandemic protocols, that can't happen because every other row is restricted. The lobby was nice and clean and so was the restroom. There's plenty of parking both in front and back of the theater. There's special prices on Tuesday showings...and I think you have to be a rewards member to get the discount (but I didn't specifically ask). There's also a small strip mall section by the entrance with a few stores and places to eat. Overall, I liked this theater and have no objections to seeing more shows here. read more

Finally got to see Mario. Slow start, better end. Anyhow the theater is a mid ranger. Clean, but the ticket prices for a matine are as much as a regular ticket back home and the food is more costly. The one up to this is if you like frozen coke, you can refill at will as nobody notices. They seem a bit understaffed as I had to buy tickets at the concession. The theaters are a bit small and the seats don't recline like the newer spots. I don't know if it is with all movies, but we were a bit late and still seemed to watch what seemed to be a half hour of previews. I guess you could say silver lining as I felt like I watched a couple movies. read more

Wednesday, July 18,2018 I went with friends to see Jurassic world, line for tickets inside was pretty long and one cashier was trying to manage all of it, why were the others standing around seemingly doing nothing? Inside the theater was hot, really hot. I went to ask for the air to be turned down and was assured it would be done. In the middle of previews a young man came in trying to shout over the preview volume that the air was broken and we would have to endure the heat! Of course we only heard bits and pieces due to him trying to yell at us over the volume. AMC I think we can do better than this, step up your game please... read more

Small theater that meets the needs for the area. The selection of theaters in the area are super slim so this one has a high demand. I have only seen two movies here. Most things are average (prices and taste of food). The sizes of their theaters are on the small side. My two complaints are that in their women's bathroom, the doors open inward and too close to the toilet. You have to touch the toilet with your leg to get on the other side of the door (yuck!). The sinks also still have the old fashioned push down faucets that only run water for 3 seconds at a time. SUPER frustrating! My other seperate gripe is that the movie did not start on time. Not even the previews. They started to run the previews 10 minutes after the start time of the movie. You have to sit through a bunch of local ads and corporate promos before the movie actually starts. Outside of those two pieces, we still prefer to come here over the theaters closest to our house. read more

Yuck. This is the dirtiest theater I've ever seen in my life. Dead serious, no exaggeration here. The bathrooms are ESPECIALLY disgusting and run down. If they can't get their workers to clean properly, they should splurge on outside cleaners once a month. Seeing the bathroom made me regret getting any food at the concessions stand. Nice, clean movie theater. Tuesdays is the day to go. All kinds of specials on tickets, concessions, you name it. They have this HUGE popcorn bucket that you can buy for $10 and then bring it back every time you see a movie and fill it for $3.50. Much cheaper than the $6 we paid for a small popcorn. I wish theaters in Chicago offered something similar. Stadium seating and I saw a sign that said no children under 5 allowed after 8pm. Score! Who wants to hear a screaming baby at the 9pm show? They honor student and senior citizen discounts. Yes, they took my Big 10 student ID in SEC country). The movie attendant even called me a Yankee. Love it!! The theater wasn't too cold. I went to the carmike 12 to see catching fire. First, I thought this theater would be great. I was not impressed. First of all, they said they were out of nachos AND sour patch kids, the 2 things I wanted. But I got popcorn, which was good with butter. I also got a blue raspberry slushy and it was TALL so I needed a bigger straw. But they only had 1 size, which was ridiculous. At least the theater room was nice. Never going THERE again. I would suggest going to other theaters nearby. read more

Very dissatisfied after being asked to wear a mask over mouth and nose it's beyond ridiculous after a year , vaccinations easy to get , cleaning til hands are raw , 30 feet between anyone because business is so slow I love the big screen but won't be going back until I can walk inside and not be asked to wear a mask in the heat and recirculating my own breathe , either get rid of the ridiculous mask mandate even the CDC and state are easing up any business that keeps it in south Alabama will probably go out of business and rightfully so ! read more

I watch a lot of movies here and can say that since AMC took over it's gone down hill. If you're planning on buying a ticket, go early as they've not figured out that it makes sense to have a "tickets only" line. When you're wanting to just buy a ticket, you're going to wait for the 15 people in front of you to get their popcorn, cokes, etc. They also routinely start the movie without adjusting the screen for the movie and end up watching the first 15 minutes with the ratio jacked up. Plus side is that you can get your own refills on drinks. read more

Nice Theater. Be prepared to suffer through 20-30 minutes of TV commercials before the feature. These commercials are played at too high a volume level. I can stay home and watch TV commercials played at too high a volume level. Watching trailers is expected but not promos for products and STARZ series events. read more

I am also a MOVIE aficionado. I watch between 50 and 60 movies in the theatre EVERY year. I have a movie BLOG where I write about movies and will publish that blog to the public soon. In the meantime, Carmike 12 in Dothan is where I watch MOST of my movies. It is about 10 years old now and it is starting to show its age. However... The staff is friendly, but somewhat disorganized. When there is a popular movie, their are often confusing lines. They simply need to erect a small sign at the front of each line and have someone actively administer the line until they enter the screening room. Simple problem - simple solution. This is their BIGGEST downfall. Second, they often do not manage the concession stand properly. A SINGLE queue would simplify that problem. That way, you do not have to choose a line hoping that your choice is the FASTEST line. Some employees are slower than molasses in January. The screening rooms have problems. A couple of the screens have water damage. Also...they OFTEN forget to flip the lens on the camera. Recently, I watched a 3D movie there and the screen was NOT filled completely because they forgot to flip the lens to make the image full screen - it was Dr. Strange. About 45 minutes before the movie ended, they flipped the lens and most people were completely unaware. Again...aficionado here. Despite ALL these issues - this is the best theater in the area. I would NOT consider any of the Clark Cinemas in Enterprise...YET. That will change in March or April when their new 10-Plex opens. Then...unless Carmike fixes the aforementioned issues, they will lose 30-40 percent of their business overnight! read more

To whom it may concern, I wanted to inform you all that last night my family attempted to see a movie at the theatre located on executive Dr in Dothan, Al. When we arrived and checked in we're about 45 minutes early and advised to go down the hall and wait for the movie to end. We waited everyone to come out and went on in. There were no customer service representatives around to tell us it needed to be cleaned. We went in grabbed our seats and about 10 minutes later a girl comes into clean. She was very rude to begin with but proceeded to tell us we needed to get out so she could clean. We should not have been in there and we should be waiting behind red ropes in the lobby. She admitted that we were informed wrongly, but still continued to tell us we could not stay and we needed to get to the back of the line. My mother and aunt asked to speak to a manager and she said she was a manager and that there no one else going to do anything differently. We proceed to get up and walk out and my Aunt and Mom ask to speak to someone above her. We end up with a Michael. Michael is just as rude and tells us he doesn't care what we were told that we needed to get to the back of the line. This was regardless of the fact that we were in fact there before any of the people in the line. We asked for a refund and we told him they were very unprofessional and would not be back. He said he didn't care and we could contact Charla and she wouldn't care either. What was sad was one of the employees continued to apologize for their behavior. It seems like the leadership might not be the best and the working environment doesn't sound very great either. It's very unfortunate, because we just wanted to see a movie and we were willing to sit in the heat because the air wasn't working. I was unable to get the the mangers name who was in the theatre, but I am sure it is on video footage. Unfortunately, for them they didn't know who they were speaking to and will be losing their jobs regardless. read more

I usually go to the Continental Drive In because I can't stand the poor upkeep in the regular theater...I was not disappointed. The floors were filthy as usual and the bathroom had toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor and water all over the sink. You would think that with the high price of a single ticket, not to mention the ridiculous prices at the snack bar, they could afford staff to keep the place clean. The movie was good. I do admit that I prefer the sound of the movies at an indoor theater, but that is not enough for me to keep going back. read more

Can't watch a movie in peace due to out of control crowd being loud & obnoxious during film. Cell phones were ringing, ppl were screaming personal conversations across the seats, & patrons were throwing food items. Management didn't seem overly concerned with stopping the chaos or the interruption but was kind enough to reimburse our movie tickets, however it's an hour and a half of my time wasted. read more

Nice theatre but the people running the place are very unprofessional. I took my 8 year old to see a movie there and besides it costing a fortune (I wouldn't have minded if it came with good customer service,or any at all) the lady who was in charge had her cleavage hanging out of her shirt and a bad attitude. The theater room had an awful smell, the screen had a black line that ran through it and the picture seemed slightly out of focus since it blurred a lot. The concessions were old and cold. To top it off, the ladies bathroom smelled horrible with that looked like urine all over the floor, and my husband said the mens urinals were over flowing into the floor and men were still trying to use them!! We were so completely grossed out that we refuse to go back! It's terrible that all the kid movies are shown in this theater because the Carmike 12, right down the road is SO much better. There are so many movies that we want to see, but don't because of how terrible this theater was. Small and run down theater that needs some major improvements. read more
