I absolutely LOVE this place!! So cute and cozy and fun! I loved when they did the monday classics and love the mystery movies! Also the Rocky Horror Picture Show was top tier! Had a great time! During the entire month of October they do special screenings of Halloween movies every Saturday night at 10pm. Tickets are super cheap - $5 - and draw a decent crowd. Beer and drinks are reasonably priced but food can be a little pricey. Still, this is one of the few locally owned theaters still left in business so you owe it to yourself to check it out. read more

I just don't understand the way the owner of this business just misses the mark so badly on a potentially great business idea. I love going to the movies. I go every weekend to AMC as an A-Lister (fantastic program BTW) This place just misses the mark totally on both more than a blind Robin Hood, thirty feet from a moving target. The movie screen isn't the best, nor is the sound system...which would be ok if the food made up for it. The food is so ridiculously atrocious here...which is a shame, because I would have gladly paid more $$$$ for higher quality of dinner, while looking the other way at the low quality of the movie being shown. I ordered a charcuterie board with ham, while my friend ordered some popcorn...for a starter, before she decided on what to eat. My charcuturie board looked WORSE than a week old Oscar-Mayer Lunchable for children, and tasted twice as bad. Absolutely dreadful...I should have brought my own Lunchable with me. The theme of the theater is kinda retro-50's...which is a good direction to go...if you had the food to back it. Idea for the owner: Why don't you put a little money into the place and get a grill cook , proper cooking gear, and create a GREAT 50's style burger joint???? Make high-quality burgers with some killer ingredients and some hand-made sauces, hand-cut french fries, and thick, delicious homemade onion rings? Then maybe offer up "50's-style "desserts like a great milk shake, Sundaes, or a slice of some homemade pies or cakes. Fort Walton Beach needs to have an influx of BETTER choices for dinner than this mess of a business. Ohh yeah, my friends popcorn came to our table...and it was ice cold, and tasted burnt. Great experience but the 4 stars is simply because the food could be much better. The pizza did not seem to be fully cooked but we ate it anyway. It was hot in some areas and cold in others. It would be nice if they had some "real food" option for gluten free eaters. The waitress was amazing and the rest of the staff was very friendly. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. Potential. During the pandemic they played retro movies every week. It was great. This kind of place is built for that kind of movie. Now they just play Marvel movies at full price. Why would anyone come here at full price when they could go to an actual movie theater with much better sound and video? They also had 14 dollar pitchers of Amberbock. Now they've gotten rid of it and it's like a 30 dollar pitcher of some garbage Props beer. read more

We've been going to this type of cinema for several years and so excited to have the newly refurbished Suds n Cinema right here in Fort Walton Beach! Food is delicious and fairly priced. The family run staff was absolutely amazing and we loved that one of the owners came out to greet us before the movie. This kind of movie is always more intimate and you really get to experience the movie along with the rest of the audience. Only suggestion... when the owner greets the audience, he might remind people that even though we feel more comfortable to laugh and cry together in a small theater, we don't need individual narratives from audience members! Awesome little movie theater with table side service. Decently priced food and drinks. Great date spot. The only recommendations for them...I wouldn't go here for your typical big summer blockbuster where you want the full blown out IMAX experience. So steer into that. Play the classics. Or do double features based on the actor or director. read more

we've been wanting to try this place for many years... tonight we did and we had the best time! it's a cute, small theater with mostly tables and some booth sections. i agree with another post... take a blanket if you can! we had popcorn and a small pizza. service started a little slow, but understandable since it was monday night and all tables were full! the servers were great. it was a perfect monday evening thing to do in ft walton!! we'll be back! Super fun little place! Took the family to watch a movie... it's like a cafe inside a theater. There's appetizers, food, theater candy and popcorn (there are tables so you don't have to eat in your lap) drinks regular (or alcoholic) and excellent customer service. The cutest small town theatre! This place was definitely a highlight in my trip to fort Walton florida. The seats can be a bit uncomfortable so make sure to sit in a booth table and bring a pillow/ blanket and you'll be cozy! They bring your food to your table which is nice, we got popcorn and nachos which were of course good, we didn't get to try anything else.
