VIP PC Cinemas - A Quiet place - Cinema Near Me - Panama City, Florida

The VIP PC Cinemas is located in the almost abandoned Panama City Mall. I used my GPS to find the cinema and there really isn't any good visible signage for the theater; it just happened that we saw a sign for the "Back Alley" entrance which looks very sketch. Upon entering the theater it looks really out of date; like 1980's style. You buy your movie tickets and order drinks & snacks at the concession stand. Then you enter one of the numbered theater rooms which we were in Theater 3. Upon walking in to the theater room you really notice how outdated the theater is. The seats are old and uncomfortable and it smelled like puke. Not really a good experience when it comes to atmosphere. I will give it to the young lady working the concessions stand; she was very polite and helpful. read more

Three stars for effort. Dodgy entrance ( nw side) tucked back into a service area at the mostly defunct PC Mall. Kudos for keeping it open after Michael ravaged the town on Oct. 10, 2018. We've been a few times. Concession prices are very decent and staff are friendly. Screens (at least at our last visit weren't so great. Admission prices are good. So, for a low key, old style movie experience give it a try. read more

Paid $50 for 4 people through fandango for this theatre on Martin Luther King. That was the first mistake. After spending 15 minutes looking for the theatre I found the hole in the wall place...LITERALLY A HOLE IN THE WALL. Let's ice the cake. It's my girlfriend's birthday & we're here for the weekend trying to enjoy the Panama city vibes. she requires a closed caption device because she is deaf and to my surprise not only is the place a small hole in the wall, but they don't have anything for people who are hearing impaired nonetheless any other disabilities. Oh... and by the way, ABSOLUTELY no refunds. It's Sunday for christ sakes, I fully believe the manager could have definitely called a neighboring theatre and explained the situation and got us in for the next movie there but no efforts were made to accommodate at all even though the theatre's were not sold out! Completely wicked! Just $50 wasted. Im furious! Not to mention when we enter the theatre, the ceiling is literally pouring! Water is flowing through the ceiling onto the seats in front of us. The worker laid out 3 long mop heads over the seats to catch the water but with no luck obviously! This place is a OSHA HAZARD, dirty and poorly managed. Mall Cinemas is the new theater located in the Panama City Mall. While management is still placing the finishing touches on the theater and their "hard opening" has not been posted, their soft opening started this week with 3 of their 4 theaters showing 5 films this week. At $3.99 (before noon with a free small popcorn) and $4.50 (from noon in until close), their ticket prices can not be beat! In addition, for any senior citizens out there, Mondays have senior discounts ($1 off concession combos). All the aesthetics of a modern movie theater are present. Each individual theater has plenty of space between rows of seats to feel comfortable in and not feel as though another patron is sitting in your lap. The seats have great cushioning and are also comfortable, the paint coated cement floor is a better option than the difficult to clean carpet that can be seen at some theaters, and the visual and sound quality is clear and crisp. According to a news paper interview with Mall Cinemas management, they plan to have independent films playing along with movies a few weeks after being released. All in all, Mall Cinemas is an excellent little theater where you definitely get more bang for your buck. A must visit in Panama City! read more

Spent a few days in Panama City was I visiting my dad at the Va nursing home. Wanted to see a movie VIP pc cinemas came up when I did a search. At first glance from the outside it doesn't look like much it is in the corner of a closed down mall but once inside it's modern clean and updated. Theatres are very clean lots of leg room between seats . Great popcorn very good prices on everything. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out when in the area. read more

Remodel theater. The only one still open after hurricane. Huge comfy seats that are spread out so no one kicking your seat. Love the prices. Hope they are able to stay open with mall closing. read more

there was a worker here who was racially profiling my sisters boyfriend. the last time me, my sister, and my boyfriend went here, they never asked for our age after 8, or denied us any type of access to the movies, but this time, whenever my sisters HISPANIC boyfriend and his HISPANIC cousin and her boyfriend came, the worker denied access as soon as they started speaking spanish, and then used the excuse to say theyre under age, but were 16, and its too far into the movie, "the movie is already half an hour past so you can no longer buy a ticket" but it was 7:54 and the movie started at 7:40, the worker used any type of excuse to deny my sisters hispanic boyfriend and his cousin and her boyfriend any type of access, and not to forget, when the worker first said we need supervision, we called an adult who was over 18, and they still denied access. terrible place, would not go again. racially profiling and denying service. read more
