I went to the AMC movie theater during the day, around 3pm, and to my surprise, I was the only person in the theater. The place was very quiet and empty, which actually made the experience pretty calming. Having the whole theater to myself felt almost private, and I didn't mind it at all--it made the movie feel more personal and relaxing. The theater itself was also very clean, which added to the comfort of the visit. I watched Light of the World, and I really enjoyed the film from start to finish. The recliner seats made it even better, giving me the chance to sit back and get completely immersed in the movie without any distractions. Between the spotless environment, the comfortable seating, and the peaceful setting, the experience at this AMC was one of the most enjoyable movie outings I've had in a while.

My favorite theater when watching a movie out in LI... cozy with only 6 theaters, reclining plush seats! Theater seating so leveled and spacious. Staff here is very friendly to welcome the guests as they arrive and scan their tickets to purchase food. There are wipes to clean the seats. No need to worry about huge crowds at all. I've been here many times and watched movies in each of the 6 theaters. Wow, they recently added MacGuffins Bar for those 21+ (must show id) to purchase alcoholic - beer and wine for the movies . Concessions - plenty of options for snacks and food for purchase for the movies. They also have the promo items for purchase for the latest movies as well - popcorn buckets for Aquaman, Star from Wish, etc. Parking is free in the downtown lot next door and if you come out the right exit on the 2nd floor, it will take you to the theater. Exit Only (this is not an entrance) is by the restrooms and takes you straight to the parking lot. Order tickets in advance through the AMC app. It definitely helps to be an AMC member - whether AMC Stubs, Premier or A*List. Restrooms are clean and well maintained.

Really nice AMC. Got tickets to watch a Marvel movie. Seats were comfortable and easy to find. There's a free parking lot near it. No need to worry about running out of time on your car during the movie. Nice option to get curly fries for the movie. The two people working the food stand were super friendly. The bathroom was big and clean. My only complaint about this AMC was that during the movie it was very warm even though a lot of other people were there too. Looking forward to coming back here again.

Very very comfortable seating and very clean. I would revisit for sure. This was a great movie experience.

After deciding not to return to the other Nassau county AMC theaters, I decided to give Glen Cove a chance. I love this neighborhood and while it is a 25 minute drive from home, it's worth it. The drive here is extremely scenic, the parking is convenient and the theater is extremely clean and comfortable. We visited today for the $6.49 matinee to see Dora and The Lost City of Gold. We arrived after 11:00 and scored parking on the multilevel free lot that connects to the AMC theater on Forest Ave. You can't miss all the big signs that say FREE PUBLIC PARKING. We parked close to the door and the staff was kind and scanned our online tickets right away. The theater was clean and comfortable. The air was the perfect temperature and it was not overcrowded like Garden City and Levittown. I can't wait to return for another matinee.

Went and Cocaine Bear on Friday afternoon. Theater was very clean, nice recliners. Staff was friendly. Only complaint is that the popcorn was sitting out and it was cold when we got it.

The compote was excellent I didn't need the syrup but it was a nice to have just in case. The service was also great! We had a trainee and she was very nice and helpful (even if she was new). I believe management also came around to check on everything but with nothing to complain about it was a quick chat. We were able to sit outside to enjoy the weather which is a nice bonus. The inside is a bit dark in ambiance but it does have a wonderful mood setting for a dinner or an event. Speaking of events, we had a wedding dinner here earlier this month and everything was beyond perfect from the staff, drinks, and food. Everyone had a wonderful time and I couldn't thank them enough! This will definitely become a go to spot.

We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

Beginning in 2014, Bilello began homebrewing out of his backyard shed. By 2016, after working as an intern at Oyster Bay Brewing, he started looking for a space to open his own brick & mortar brewery. Bilello finally acquired a circa 1928 building in downtown Glen Cove and would spend the next two years renovating it. He chose the name "Noble Savage" as a reference to his way of life: to live nobly and have a noble vision, but be savage in your actions. After running out of money, Bilello initially opened the space as a craft beer bar before he generated enough revenue to get the brew system running. Within a few years, Noble Savage became nationally acclaimed for their small-batch hazy IPAs as well as Bilello's strict commitment to using 100% New York State-grown and floor-malted grains from the Hudson Valley. I recently visited Noble Savage while I was traveling through Long Island. They have been on my list since I read about them in Hop Culture Magazine. I arrived right as they opened for the day. The taproom has sort of a rustic feel to it. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the draught menu. The staff were friendly and there seemed to be a small group of regulars stopping by for beers. Throughout my visit, I enjoyed short pours of "Unintended Consequences" (Dark Lager), "Compelling Insight" (New England IPA), "Psychedelic Hyperboost" (New England IPA), and "Vicarious Joy" (Double New England IPA). Everything was really good; I can see what all of the hype is about! Owner and brewmaster Frank Bilello was nice enough to chat with me for a few minutes, give me a tour of the brew system and even let me sample a green beer fresh from the tanks. If you're a serious craft beer drinker then keep Noble Savage on your radar!

This Glen Cove locations is lovely; beautiful murals and great vibes. I was shocked and sad to see it so empty on a Saturday evening! I hope more people give this place a chance because the food and service is great! This was our Shared Menu (plenty for 2ppl, and we had leftovers): -- Water Buffalo Momos w.Chili Sauce (8pcs/$18): the Momos were tasty; the meat was very lean. I would skip the Chili sauce next time. I didn't like the sweet and sour taste of the sauce, so next time I'd like to try the steamed Momos with Johl sauce instead. -- Choila Roti "Not a Taco" with Jackfruit (2pcs/$12): Not a Taco but similar to a taco. This was delicious and I'd get this again. We choice the Jackfruit version but they also have a chicken version. -- Masala Wings (Sauteed wet version) (4pcs/$11): I remember really liking the wings when I was at the Ridgewood location but couldn't recall which wings we had. On this visit, we had the wet version which was good but I realized that I like their dry version better. -- Grilled Lamb Chops w.Timur Sauce, Veggies & white rice (2pcs/$25): Surprisingly, this was my least fave dish of the night. I normally love lamb chops but these chops didn't really have a nice seared taste to them. The texture was a little off for me. Also, it was very boney with not much meat. I would try another entree next time. All in all, a good meal! I found the large selection of appetizers more interesting than the entrees, and would have been happy just sharing a bunch of appetizers and small plates. Customer service was welcoming and friendly! It was a pleasure to chat with the owner. Nice addition to the neighborhood!

Our latest visit, Lisa E and I set up on the beachfront around 6PM in anticipation of fireworks around 9PM at the Italian Festival on the other side of Hempstead Harbor. Just after sunset (apropos) we made our way inside the club, and found seating on the north side high top overlooking the beach. Lot's of fun people watching, split a decent burger with sauteed mushrooms and onions. G&T in cheap plastic cup and a generous pour of brown liquor neat primed me for the light show. We said our goodnight to the staff, made our way to our beach chairs and reveled in the shimmering lights from the ferris wheel and assorted carnival rides, then directed our eyes to a short but delightful fireworks show. In Lisa E and my opinion, you can craft an incredible evening if you just allow yourself to.
