I had a really great experience at this theatre location. I came in a Tuesday to take advantage of their $7 movie specials. This is so worth it and I definitely recommend if you're trying to save money! The theatre itself is very clean, modern, and spacious. They have reclining seats that are super comfortable. Staff are also friendly and were extremely helpful when we tried to make an exchange for a ticket we previously purchased. The bathrooms are also huge (and really well maintained), so no long lines!

Movie took four hours to start! I waited five hours for the movie to start had to refill my popcorn 18 times and I did not enjoy the experience whatsoever at all I will not recommend.

I had a really nice experience at this theatre. Went to see Joker on a Sunday night. Ordered our tickets online in the morning and reserved seats, so finding a good place to watch wasn't an issue. Not that it would be anyway. They did a complete renovation and put in reclining chairs and such so you get the full experience no matter where you sit. Concessions were your normal theatre fare, but they also had what looked like more high end food and a bar. Apparently you can order food and they bring it to you in the theatre. I didn't use that service though. Didn't use the restroom. Parking was easy. Noise level and cleanliness of the theatre were standard. Four stars.

So we haven't been in the movies in like forever! Anyways, it was raining so we decided to go watch guardians of the galaxy 2. This movie theater is currently being renovated. I love how they re-did the inside of the theater. Stadium seating and way better seats! It's now leather, reclining and with a foot rest. And the best part, it's reserved! Can't wait until all the renovations are done!!

It's a movie theater so there's not a whole lot to say. The seats are spacious and much comfier than the traditional ones. The food is fine and there's more options now but still a little pricey. It's definitely an improvement. The pretzel is good. The mozzarella sticks are too but you get 6 sticks for $7 which seems a little silly. If you give them your seat, they can deliver the food straight to you. There's also an open bar.

This is WAY better than the Bow Ties in Stamford. Love the plush reclining seats. I went and saw Deadpool this weekend and the showtime was mostly sold out so we got seats in the front first row. For most movie theaters, this would be a horrible experience and end in a sprained neck but because of the nice recline in these seats I actually felt very comfortable watching even though it was the front row. For food and drinks, I ordered a margarita pizza and a spicy margarita carafe. The pizza was good, and no joke the spicy margarita drink was one of the best margaritas I've ever had! I'm very surprised as I didn't expect much considering it's a drink from a movie theater. The carafe was definitely a great price (I think it was $22) for the amount to have to drink to watch a long movie. Loved the nice Deadpool themed stirrers and coasters to go with the theme of the movie. Now that I've just moved to Norwalk this will definitely be my go-to theater!

For all the fancy seats and overpriced concessions, the sound is consistently poor. The caption system does not work. They get a star because they gave me back my (exorbitant) ticket price. read more

This is the closest theater we have, generally speaking we've had average experiences at this theater, people are usually nice and the seating is O.K. but don't trust the people who work there. Some friends were in town the evening before Christmas Eve so obviously we went to see the new Star Wars movie. We were at the last showing which got out at 1am and because friends were in town my partner didn't realize he had left his iPhone there until the next morning. We showed up to look for the phone at the first showing of Star Wars Christmas Eve morning and the phone was gone. That evening the "Find My iPhone" pinged at 55 Stuart St. in Norwalk CT, near the hospital. If you're wondering, that's not the movie theater, someone who had access to the movie theater between 1am and 10am of Star Wars showing took the phone. Some people would say "you shouldn't have lost your phone" but if it was any of us who had found a phone we would have tried to call the last number called or brought it to the front desk. And whats worse is this person literally cannot use it. Its set in lock mode with a note saying "this phone was stolen please call this number when found" when ever it turns on. And it's a Verizon phone so if they try to reset it to a new number with Verizon they are just going to take the phone. Now we are out $800 and this idiot is left with a flashy paper weight, cool. read more

Not only is the Bowtie chain crap, but this particular theater is one of the worst you'll ever encounter, owing mostly to the rude manager. For starters, as someone pointed out, the manager makes everyone feel like they are intruding on her tiny kingdom. The employees look like they are on pins and needles and are endlessly apologizing for their manager. Woe to anyone who happens to have a candy bar in their purse, or is so cheap as to actually use a gift card. Want to get there early to get a good seat? Better not talk too loud or look like you are enjoying yourself too much or the manager will shoo you out the door. Want to take a picture with your friends? Not in her theater. It's somewhat understandable that available space is what it is, but there's no excuse for the horrendous experience customers are forced to endure. read more

They book comics sometimes too. The place is immaculate. Recent renovations to sound and lighting make it a great choice for top quality perfomances and a fun night out with friends. Most shows are kid friendly too. The staff is pleasant and couteous, and the drinks are only moderately overpriced. Garnishes included free of charge. The Wall Street Theater was renamed District Music Hall in March 2024. I'm betting it will be March 2034 before Yelp updates this listing.

In contrast---when I go to NYC and see a Broadway performance I feel so let down by the cost. Ticket prices, train/travel, and parking in NYC total over $500....MTC is a fraction of the cost. I recently visited the AMC Theater, and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. There were several aspects that left me with a negative impression and compelled me to share this review. First and foremost, the customer service was lackluster. The staff appeared disinterested and unengaged, lacking the enthusiasm and helpfulness expected in a service-oriented industry. When I approached the counter with a query about showtimes, I was met with indifference and a dismissive response, making me feel unimportant and unwelcome. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the theater were subpar. The floors were sticky, the seats were noticeably uncomfortable, and there were remnants of food and trash scattered around the theater. It was quite disappointing to find that there was no effort made to keep the facilities tidy and welcoming for guests. Another area of concern was the concession stand. The prices for snacks and beverages were outrageously high, even by movie theater standards. The lack of affordable options left me feeling limited and taken advantage of. Moreover, the quality of the snacks themselves was underwhelming, with stale popcorn and overly sweet sodas. It was evident that the focus was solely on profits rather than delivering a satisfactory experience to customers. Lastly, the sound and picture quality during the movie screening were below expectations. During crucial scenes, the audio was often too soft, making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the film. Additionally, there were moments when the picture quality appeared grainy, further diminishing the overall enjoyment of the movie. In conclusion, my visit to the AMC Theater was a letdown. The lackluster customer service, unsatisfactory cleanliness, overpriced concessions, and below-average audio-visual experience all contributed to my negative impression.
