Was working in the area today and I have heard of this place on the tv, but never got the chance to try it. Now that I am here, I had to give it a shot. I ordered on the Slice App, so it was pretty simple and straightforward for me. Vegetarian Calzone: I am mixed when it comes to eating calzones, but this one was really good. The crust was soft and the fixings were delicious. Got amples amount of cheese, mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes. The only thing I will say is that it was a bit too much olives for my taste. We came early afternoon and had the place to ourselves. It is a very cool, old-school pizzeria setting. (brick walls and old photos, etc.) They have a jukebox and pool table in the dining area so we played a game while we waited. The service was friendly and our order came before the game of pool was done. The pizza was awesome and everything we asked for was correct. My favorite was the build your own (pepperoni, olive and mushroom with light sauce/light cheese). My wife enjoyed the Margherita and the olive oil they drizzle on it is delicious. Placed an order at 4:48- was told 25 mins for pick up. They made my pizza wrong with onions rather than olives. I would've just settled with it if I actually liked onions. So then I waited for what I actually ordered. I got an apology but no add'l discount or comp item like a salad etc for the time & inconvenience in itself. 1 hour later I get home and the pizza is half cooked. Almost $30 for this nonsense that I even have to finish cooking myself. Younger gal in the front does not perform well under pressure. One of the best pizza spots in the Brentwood area pizza is always fresh and flavorful and they have really good cannolis you know I love desserts so I definitely approve of the cannolis here. Ever since we moved here 8 1/2 years ago, we only get pizza from here. Tonight, we were looking forward to enjoying another yummy pizza with anchovies! On opening the box, we noticed that the anchovies weren't the usual brined kind that is used for pizza but unsalted and unbrined. It tasted gross. I called the restaurant and spoke to someone whose response was that this was what they now carried. After asking to speak to a manager, I was told by the manager that this was better since it was "natural". I tried explaining that the brined type is what is used on pizza. I don't know what her experience in the food industry is, but she clearly didn't understand. Eventually, she agreed to refund the cost of the (inedible) pizza whichIappreciate. This is our go to pizza for those must have pizza nights. Ameci Pizza Kitchen is of one of two places (ahem, Sabrina's) where I think is the top pizza places around the area. The kids just love their New York Style Cheese pizza. It has the good amount of cheese, and the proper crunch in the crunch. Right now, my go to is their Deluxe Pizza. The meats and vegetables are of good quality and I do taste the difference when sometimes we opt for another pizza chain on some occasions. Went here on a whim a few months back and let me just say that I am very glad that I did. This is arguably one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted in Brentwood. From the sauce to the ingredients you simply cannot go wrong. Their service levels are also superb. Definitely recommend. The inside diner is very clean and the wait times are reasonable. I ordered via phone a medium margarita pizza at 5:59 pm today. I was told it would be ready in 20 min. I arrived at 6:15 and my pizza was already waiting. I live about 10 min away and when I got home my pizza was stone cold. A phone call was place to Amice about the cold pizza and instead of helping with the situation the female on the phone said it was my fault for driving home with the air conditioner on ? She was rude and continued to argue with me. Amice charges higher prices for the pizzas but their customer service sucks. read more

Oof. This will be my first bad review on Yelp in a long time. I was excited to try this place because it was the #2 most recommended pizza place in Brentwood. Came in at 6 with my family and ordered a large pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, and a couple drinks. Took a seat in the dining area, which is off to the side from where you order, separated by a wall. We got the garlic bread pretty quickly, within 5 minutes of seating, I was pleasantly surprised. 30 minutes pass and nothing else from the kitchen, I'm starting to worry they forgot our pizza. The staff can't see the dining area from where they are either so they can't see who hasn't gotten their order. My kids are getting restless at the table waiting. At 6:50 I finally go up to the counter and ask the one who took my order the status of my pizza. She asks if it was a mobile order, then after looking through the order list she remembers she was the one who took my order. She checks with one of the cooks on the status of the pizza, then lets me know they gave it out to someone else and were going to make it right then for me. When they gave us the pizza, it looked pretty small. Only had 8 slices (I'd consider them smallish slices) for a large. Seemed more like a medium size to me. And finally, the pizza wasn't even special. At least it was fairly cheap as far as pizzas go. But overall the experience wasn't worth it - I'd rather stick to Melo's. read more

I'll say that I prefer a little more time in the oven the last few times we've been here as it's just a bit undercooked for my taste, but the flavors are always great. So, we added light marinara, half mozz mix with the other half ricotta, added chicken and some spinach; this pizza was gone before it got cold! Love this place. The WHITE NIGHT pizza was delicious! I don't usually eat "meatless" pizza but I noticed some Yelpers raving about it so I figured I'd give it a try. YUM!! I love it. White Night is definitely my favorite at Ameci's, they use ricotta cheese instead of pizza sauceThe calzone I had was really good and HUGE, no way could I eat more than half. The dining area is comfortable and they have a nice bar area. I imagine it would be a good spot to have birthday parties, graduation parties, etc. I notice the majority of their orders are to go so, there's plenty of room in the dining area for everyone with wine and beer on tap. I've always gotten great service here, all the employees are friendly and helpful especially Kyle, what a nice guy. Ameci's (not to be confused with Amici's) catered one of our office lunches and we had a small feast. The antipasto salad was loaded with Italian goodies and light on the Iceberg lettuce, just how I like it! The apps platter had breaded cheese ravioli, mozzarella sticks, zucchini sticks, mac n cheese balls and chicken munchers. This was the most exciting tray since we love finger food, but was a bit of a letdown. To play devil's advocate, fried food doesn't tend to hold up very well unless it's consumed right away on location. I'd give it another try if I'm dining in though. We got an assortment of pizzas with an excellent cornmeal crust and just the right amount of flavorful toppings. My faves were the combo and the Margherita. Nothing was left to want. We were fully supplied with napkins, plates, utensils, salad dressings (in HUGE plastic drink containers, at that), marinara and ranch for dipping, and parm cheese and red pepper flakes for sprinkling. read more

My family ordered 3 pizzas for delivery as we do on most weekends from Ameci. Unfortunately one of the toppings was missed from our order, so no problem simple mistake. However, we called to notify them and was placed on hold only to hear the staff going off in the background about how they were not going to comp an entire pizza for one topping and how they were not going to drive back out to deliver it. Mind you none of which we asked for or expected. We would have been satisfied with a simple we will comp an extra topping on your next order. Customer service in business is the easiest and simplest way to serve your customer base and unfortunately they dropped the ball. Very disappointing as my son was a fan of the pizza there but we will have to explore other options in the area. read more

This was my first time ordering from here. I had heard great reviews from others on Facebook and Nextdoor so I decided to try them out. I was not disappointed! I loved the pizza it was delicious! I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I ordered a Caesar salad and it was $9.99 and it was the size of a kids size bowl. Otherwise fantastic I will definitely be eating here more often.
