The sauce and the two wings I ate
    Erica M.

I'm here from out of town I met the owner and he was the nicest person made my sandwich it was a great sandwich. My second experience was not that great but the owner was not there. I came back and this time I got Wings. I am from the south and I'm used to a different kind of Wing. I asked for mild wings. The wings that I got didn't have anything on them. They looked very plain no smell of hot sauce anything so I took the wings back the young man that was cooking. I guess he was irritated about the wings and he dumped an entire bottle of sauce on my wings. There was so much sauce that young lady couldn't put the container that they were in, in the bag, the young man had the nerve to tell her I wouldn't move that too much if I was you! I had to throw all of that wings away. It was ridiculous and I'm gonna add pictures. It was such an enormous waste of my money and a waste of my time away from my mother who I was visiting here in the hospital. The pizza was great. My mom and stepdad at least enjoyed the wings that I got them. This is all of the sauce that he dumped on top of my wings. I took them out of the sauce because I was going to try to salvage them and just make my own sauce, but there was no salvaging.

Very pleased with our order of three sheet pizzas for a birthday party. There was no shortage of toppings and they all tasted great!

A sweeter sauce, perfect bottom and good crust. It reminded of Dani's in Queens with the sweeter sauce, and very different than Joe's in NYC in that it has way more cheese. I didnt get to try the more creative slices or pies, but that's next. The service was super kind and fast. They had a kids bday party going on and were able to get me my pizza and asks.

Current owner Matt Barlotta bought it from Angelo in 2002, but Angelo still frequently comes in to be in the shop he started all those decades ago. I've passed Angelo's several times, but I don't live in Auburn, so I'd never stopped. Recently, some friends and I were in Auburn and were looking for some lunch. I had seen someone mention on social media that Angelo's has a pickle pizza. We all love pickle pizza, but few places have it on their menu at all times, so we decided to stop in and grab one. Plenty of off street parking on the side of the building. Small place, one table in the back and some seats at a counter to eat at. We sat at the counter and ordered 2 pizza, a pickle pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were made quickly, and we were eating within 20 minutes. Both were delicious and perfect as far as the way I enjoy pizza. The dough was thin, but sturdy and didn't flop around when eating, it was cooked perfectly, the cheese was slightly browned instead of just melted, the sauces (tomato on the pepperoni and garlic on the pickle) were both tasty and applied in a perfect amount, the toppings were plentiful....I really have no complaints about the pizzas at all. There were 3 employees working and all 3 of them were friendly and talked with us in passing. It came to a little over $50 for 1 extra large, 1 large and 3 drinks, which is pretty expensive, but most pizza places are expensive nowadays. I'd absolutely go again, especially when that pickle pizza craving hits.
