Had their pizza delivered to an event the other day. Had to be the worst pizza I have ever had in my life, which is pretty long. I mean worse than frozen where at least you get some flavor. Imagine 3 layers of dough, not crispy, totally bland, then a thin layer of bland sauce with some bland pepperoni and bland cheese (very little) on top to which can be literally peeled off like a layer. I really hate docking stars from local restaurants, I really do. I also waited and ordered from them multiple times but unfortunately was disappointed multiple times. I'm willing to pay up for local, quality food, but $35 for a large supreme Pizza plus tip and delivery fee is insane for a soggy pizza. Today's order was a buffalo chicken wrap, a cheese steak and charbroiled garlic parmesan wings. The total? $40 (yeah, I had the same reaction too.) A dozen wings were $17 (market price on the menu). Okay fine, this better be amazing food. Nope! So I also had to wait another 8 minutes after arriving. The wings were fried, not charbroiled and had barely any sauce at all. It was like a tablespoon of sauce was drizzled on top of the dry, fried wings. The cheese steak was good. The Buffalo chicken sub was small and the extra hot Buffalo sauce had to be mild, there's no way it was hot. All in all, for $40 plus tip, it was sorely disappointing. As someone who delivers through FedEx to Auburn, I often stop here to grab a quick bite on my route. The food is very good and the service is great. While it's not an award winning pizza place, it definitely beats out a lot of others that I have been too and the thin Manhattan style crust is excellent. Food is decent but also extremely expensive. Me and a few of my friends went there to get a few items such as a large pepperoni and 2 things of wings along with drinks. The total was around 40-45 dollars. Staff inside do the restaurant seemed all young and irresponsible with the way they were working and taking orders. Saw workers on their phones instead of making pizza as well. Not a bad establishment but not a very good one either. The overall quality of the food was fine I suppose but nothing mouth dropping like the amount of money I spent on it was. If you want a cheaper equivalent there are quite a few in Auburn. Ninos gets a solid 2 star rating from me. read more

A very small pizzeria just a half mile away from the infamous Harriet Tubman Home. I found it because I went there for a visit. I had the chicken bacon ranch slice. It was pretty good, although there was minimal chicken on it. I would have liked to try additional pizza but I wasn't all that hungry. I also coincidently had the plain pie the night before at a pizza party and that was enjoyable as well. One bite, everybody knows the rules. I'm only in Auburn another few days, so I'll probably give it try if time permits. Friendly staff, and they use gloves when they touch your food so that was a plus. read more

6/4/19 Last night we ordered Chicken Parm and Lasagna diners. What happened to there food? The chicken parm was two pieces of fried chicken with no flavor stacked on top of each other mozzarella cheese on top with a spoon of sauce. The lasagna was four pieces of lasagna noodles stacked on the bottom some ground meat with four more pieces of noodles on top and a bit of sauce. Where is the ricotta, the mozzarella, the layers the flavor? I, for one, will not order from NINO'S in Auburn, N.Y. in the future. A 10-year-old could do better than that. YUK read more

Their wings are pretty good, which is why they get a 2 out of 5. Delivery is slow. Ordered two subs last night, was given an hour window, took an hour and 45 minutes. On their online menu, they have a section for "hot subs". Underneath that they have simply "chicken". OK. I was in the mood for a chicken finger sub so I figured that would work. When I call to order a "hot chicken sub" I'm asked if I wanted a chicken parm sub or chicken tender sub or yada yada yada and so I went with chicken tenders. Added mozzarella cheese which is extra, and lettuce and onion. NOTE to Nino's: If you have multiple hot chicken subs perhaps put it on the menu so you don't confuse people. There was nothing hot about this sub. Even with the long delay in delivery I can tell this sub was never hot. Handful of small breaded chicken pieces (cold) on a roll that was too bready for the amount of substance. Two small slices on each half of mozzarella cheese. Not even remotely melted. Approximately one tablespoon of lettuce. I have never in my life seen less lettuce on a sub. read more

As a fancy break from the weekly Little Caesar's night rut, we spent $50 on a sheet pizza (pepperoni, sausage) and 2 dozen wings. "20-25 minutes," they said over the phone. We arrived after 25 minutes to have them confused by our presence and order; they clearly had not started the sheet pizza, but they did not tell us this. "It'll be right out," they said. There were four girls in the front and at least six boys in the back. The girls in front were not friendly and just paced around looking agitated. The boys in the back were going slower than I've ever seen kitchen staff move. We stood, waiting for our pizza, watching our wings cool on the counter, for 20 minutes. No hyperbole about the wait. They clearly had not started the sheet pizza until we arrived. We were handed the pizza with the least apologetic "sorry" possible. To be clear, it's not like we'd been unpleasant. As for the food, while Nino's regular pizza is thin crust, the sheet pizza was one dense, bready mofo. Edge pieces were half crust. The wings were good, albeit not very warm. So, meh.
