We stopped here for a slice on the way to Hariett Tubman. The pizza was decent. If I lived locally, I'd be OK with getting take out from here. I was kind of grossed out by how dirty the tables were. Everything was coated with a fine layer of dust. Not really an eat-in kind of place.

I really hate docking stars from local restaurants, I really do. I also waited and ordered from them multiple times but unfortunately was disappointed multiple times. I'm willing to pay up for local, quality food, but $35 for a large supreme Pizza plus tip and delivery fee is insane for a soggy pizza. Today's order was a buffalo chicken wrap, a cheese steak and charbroiled garlic parmesan wings. The total? $40 (yeah, I had the same reaction too.) A dozen wings were $17 (market price on the menu). Okay fine, this better be amazing food. Nope! So I also had to wait another 8 minutes after arriving. The wings were fried, not charbroiled and had barely any sauce at all. It was like a tablespoon of sauce was drizzled on top of the dry, fried wings. The cheese steak was good. The Buffalo chicken sub was small and the extra hot Buffalo sauce had to be mild, there's no way it was hot. All in all, for $40 plus tip, it was sorely disappointing. I really want to support them but that's highway robbery for the quality of the food you get.

Many varieties of pizza waiting for you as soon as you walk in. Very friendly staff. Local pizza shop and definitely one of my new favorites. Pizza is of exceptional quality. My goal to spot for lunch when I'm in auburn. Update 3/3/17: stopped back today and the pizza selections are numerous and the taste is out of this world!! Very fresh, very tasty!

Bad vegie pizza options and execution happens...not honoring a customer complaint about this pizza is unacceptable! We Wont be back!

This slice had the most sauce on it out of the entire box, it was very dry and the wings were overcooked

A sweeter sauce, perfect bottom and good crust. It reminded of Dani's in Queens with the sweeter sauce, and very different than Joe's in NYC in that it has way more cheese. I didnt get to try the more creative slices or pies, but that's next. The service was super kind and fast. They had a kids bday party going on and were able to get me my pizza and asks.

Current owner Matt Barlotta bought it from Angelo in 2002, but Angelo still frequently comes in to be in the shop he started all those decades ago. I've passed Angelo's several times, but I don't live in Auburn, so I'd never stopped. Recently, some friends and I were in Auburn and were looking for some lunch. I had seen someone mention on social media that Angelo's has a pickle pizza. We all love pickle pizza, but few places have it on their menu at all times, so we decided to stop in and grab one. Plenty of off street parking on the side of the building. Small place, one table in the back and some seats at a counter to eat at. We sat at the counter and ordered 2 pizza, a pickle pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were made quickly, and we were eating within 20 minutes. Both were delicious and perfect as far as the way I enjoy pizza. The dough was thin, but sturdy and didn't flop around when eating, it was cooked perfectly, the cheese was slightly browned instead of just melted, the sauces (tomato on the pepperoni and garlic on the pickle) were both tasty and applied in a perfect amount, the toppings were plentiful....I really have no complaints about the pizzas at all. There were 3 employees working and all 3 of them were friendly and talked with us in passing. It came to a little over $50 for 1 extra large, 1 large and 3 drinks, which is pretty expensive, but most pizza places are expensive nowadays. I'd absolutely go again, especially when that pickle pizza craving hits.

I'm struggling with this review because while I acknowledge there were pieces of this experience…read morethat were somewhat out of their control, they could have taken control. I placed a pickup online order for a pizza and wings. Unfortunately there's no way to see the ETA for your order until you place and pay for your order online. They quoted me 1-1.5 hours wait time, which honestly was pretty disappointing to start, but I did give my phone number so if the wait time was shorter they could have called me. I waited, arrived after an hour (the earliest my food was estimated to be ready) and walked into a dark corner of the bar where the business was supposed to be mildly concerned they closed and didn't contact me. Apparently they close at 9p, the range of time was 8:35-9:05 which should probably be fixed in the online system. They were able to find my food, brought it out after a bit of confusion, and handed me a not very warm box. I brought it home (very short drive) to see a cold pizza with congealed cheese, and cold wings. The wings were supposed to be medium buffalo traditional wings, they were totally dry. It was like someone squirt a teaspoon of buffalo sauce after the fact. The pizza crust is odd; I get what people mean when they say it's like cornmeal. It really is, and when you receive the pizza cold, it's totally inflexible. The crust is good, I like that they bring the cheese all the way to the end. I gave it 3 stars because if I had received it at a palatable temperature and the wings actually had sauce, I bet it would be a decent meal. It's just really disappointing that after $40 plus tip that was the food I received and the experience I had. I appreciate online ordering, but I doing think this business is ready for it, or at least should consider different software to prevent this happening again.
