I have been eating Paladino's since the 80's. I have never been disappointed. My buddy and I used to ride our bicycles to Market place mall just to eat there in the summer time. Then in high school we would visit at least twice a month. Now that i have a family it is once to twice a month. The have the only pizza that my son will eat besides a Wegmans frozen pizza. Unfortunately with my wife"s and my son's taste for pizza I am relegated to a meatball or pepperoni only pizza. I still cannot complain as the hand tossed pizza is good. The decor is simple. The pricing is decent. The speed varies based on orders. I have been anywhere from 20 minutes to 1-1/2 hours wait. Thank you to the business for all they do for the community. When my wife ran the K-4 youth group at the local church, they gave a great discount and free delivery. They are very active in supporting local CNS teams. My son swims for the CNS boys swim team and every year they have been very generous is supporting the booster. We spend thousands every year on private club swim team between apparel, membership and meets. It is nice that at the high school level that any child can swim for free minus the price of a couple of practice suits based on a local business helping the booster pay for necessary items not covered by the school for meets. read more

I really enjoyed stopping in for a slice. Thin pizza, with a crispy bottom, soft crust, mild sauce, and heated up perfectly. The man behind the counter was friendly and personable. Ordered take out for the first time last night. I like how honest they are when before you even order give you the wait time which was over an hour but we were ok with that. Showed up at the time told and items were fresh out of the oven hot and ready! We tried two types of their wings, which were both flavorful and lots of meat and cooked perfection. Also tried the sausage pizza, which was very good. I'm still a little lost on the sausage (may just be my taste buds my boyfriend loved it) but the flavor of the pizza was great and an antipasto salad, which was fresh and filled with lots of vegetables and meats and cheeses. I didn't realize that they had in house dining because it looks so small from the outside, we will definitely be back. It's nice to have fresh hot and quality so close to home. read more

I love paladins pizza. It's our go-to for pizza. The slices are big NY style foldable slices and it's always so fresh and hot when we get it delivered. The wing are also perfection. Not as crispy as I have had but still very good! We mostly order delivery and it's always delivered before the time they say. The customer service is always great when we do go to pick up or dine in. Ordered our first takeout pizza from Paladino's in Cicero and it was a great experience. Thin crust, done right - what's not to like. While waiting, I saw they had lasagna on the menu, so also ordered that (cold) for Sunday dinner. It was good but I found the sauce to be thin, a bit acidic and not really spiced as well as it could be. A thicker meat sauce and some more Italian herbs would make it outstanding. Certainly understand that they can't please everyone's taste but c'mon - bland Italian lasagna... Hopefully they will do a taste test and agree it needs more to be a winner. Do yourself a favor. If you like NYC style pizza that you can fold (as it should be done), not dripping with grease and has just the right amount of crispiness with a mild sauce - you need to give these guys a try. I've been coming out here for work for 20 plus years, and this is the best NYC style pizza out here. It's a depressing half-vacant cheap vodka in a paper-bag strip mall, but who cares if the food is good. Is this like Johns on Bleecker?...no. Is this New Haven worthy?...no. Each time I've gone in, they always have a lot of staff making things efficient. With prices going up everywhere, I was pleased they were offering a large cheese pizza with 12 traditional wings for $30. A great special for our family of 4. Last night we ordered the standard cheese pizza, honey bbq bone-in wings, and chicken parmesan with spaghetti for takeout. Order was ready at the time they said to pickup. Pie was a good large size. Nice NY style pizza. We love the honey bbq flavor of the wings. Sticky, large size, and a little bit of crisp to the skin of the wings. Good amount of chicken in the chicken parmesan. Not our favorite chicken parm in the area, but was filling. Came with 2 garlic knots that my kids devoured. We were happy with our takeout order and I'm sure will be back again! Went here because we were in town for a hockey tournament and it was near the rink. It had good reviews and wow, wish this place was near home, we would be regulars. Great pizza, great garlic knots, and the owner/manager was great too. We ended up getting takeout from here the second night of the tournament...it was that good! Cheese pizza is excellent. Rather every pizza is excellent. Some of the other food lacks in spots, chicken wings are way too over priced at any restaurant these days. So I avoid them usually it's always hit or miss with any pizza place including this one whether you're going to get crispy wings or soggy wings. I like to order garlic knots with our pizza sometimes because it's cheaper than buying wings the garlic knots here could use some love in the recipe they are more like pieces of pizza dough just balled up. Other than that the pizza is excellent. I will give 4 stars for the pizza and usually pretty fast delivery! read more

At least one every week or maybe biweekly depending on the mood, i always find time to pick up a pie or two at Paladino's Pizza Cicero. Me and the wife love the Chicken Parmesan Pizza. It has such A nice layer of breaded chicken. The sauce and also the shredded (i think its shredded) mozzarella make the taste buds do a little dance. Food for 100 people, delivered, is not an easy thing to do and Paladino's made my life easier. Just enjoyed two cheese pizzas from Paladino's. As usual it hit the spot. I would say this time it was possibly a little too cheesy, yes, that's a thing. One thing I'll say, is that I'm a little disappointed with the $2.50 delivery charge. Does that go to the driver? I never know whether I should tip of regular 20% tip or if I should Skillet back because I'm also paying a delivery charge. If I'm paying a 20% tip on top of a delivery charge, it makes getting pizza delivered considerably more expensive. Anyway, on the barstool scale of 1 to 10 this is a 7.2 today. This location has been home to Ninos, Vitos and who knows how many other pizza joints. I saw the name Paladino's and presumed it is related to the Paladino's in North Syracuse, although, I have no idea if this is the case. Well, that was temping enough to take a chance to try some slices. There is plenty of parking and inside, the place looks freshly renovated. When I walked to the counter to order, I could see they were busy taking phone orders and cranking out fresh pies which looked quite good. Dining alone, I went for two simple plain slices and a soda. My slices went into the oven for about a minute of reheating and they were ready and waiting for me. They looked great and smelled delicious. I sat at a booth and I picked up my first slice, folded it properly and had my first bite. A nice firm, slightly crispy crust with a mild sauce and a good amount of equally mild cheese. This was good but, neither excited or offended me. I don't like to be offended !! A few more bites confirmed my initial observations. This was good, not great pizza. I think this pizza would be a great platform for many different toppings to make a more exciting, flavorful pie. I would give them another chance as I think they are on the right path to making very good pizza. read more

Such long history in this area. Marginal service. It seems like I am bothering them when I pick up a pizza here. I wouldn't normally order from Paladinos but my daughter loves the pizza (she's 10 and doesn't know any better). We normally go to twin trees. If I might suggest that the owners go to twin trees and check out the service. Also, try and put sauce on your wings. It seems like you are trying to save money by serving sauceless wings. Lastly, dont buy gift certificates, always seems to be a challenge using them. read more

Fast to make pizza, but call ahead and it will be waiting when you get there. Checked in and got a slice of cheese pizza, well worth the effort. Garlic knots were great too. They are pretty big. I love the pizza and always get pretty much the same thing. I usually get a large onion, mushroom, and sausage pie and its always good. I I love the slices. Actually I love them so much I order those more than a regular large. That's why they get 4 stars because the only way I can get the big sliced is to pay by the slice. Wow. I want the whole slice pie and I can't pre order it and when I walk in I have to pay per slice even tho I will buy the whole pie. All I can say is the place is welcoming and good.
