Also this "store" was listed under thrift shops. As we entered, we saw that in the back there are a few areas with vintage items and some antiques. But the place is more of a collection of artisan offerings -- each with their own area -- of everything from jewelry to painted signs, gifts and tourist things. Housewares to home decor; bric a brac to collectibles. Handmade and custom creations. The staff is quite nice. The store is fun to browse. And the kind of place to look for a unique gift for that someone who has everything.

I traveled to this one first, located in the Sunrise wing of their main building. I was able to find ornaments, but sadly no spoon. I asked the store employee, and she told me to go to the other store. She said it was the main store and did have those types of spoons. She also told me she would call them to inform them I was on my way and that they would have one ready for me to sell when I got there. So yeah, that didn't happen. It's quite a distance to the other shop and I took one of the buses the resort has to get from place to place... the other employee never got called and also said there were no spoons. So essentially I wasted my time and a trip.

The classes were successful, bringing customers into the store and creating a fun community event. I was excited to support another woman-owned business. I received one payment in February 2026 for approximately four weeks of lessons. After that, I continued teaching throughout March, April, and May. Despite repeated requests for payment, I was given various reasons for the delay and assured that payment was coming. I even offered to accept installment payments if that would help. Unfortunately, payment never arrived. For months, I attempted to resolve this matter privately through texts, phone calls, in-person conversations, and follow-up requests. I ultimately sent a certified demand letter, which was received, yet I am still awaiting payment for services that were provided months ago. I take responsibility for not having a more detailed written agreement in place. However, I firmly believe that when work is completed as agreed, payment should be made in a timely manner. I do not write this out of anger. I simply want to be paid for the work I performed. My hope is that Coastal Elements will honor its commitment and resolve this matter without further action.

The owners were gracious enough to let me take pictures in their store and were welcoming to our group. Although we did not stay long or purchase anything, I would revisit the store on a future visit to Amelia Island.

She had us laughing during checkout. I purchased a beige Atlantic Beach ball cap for $12. Great find for a great price. My friend purchased several star fish for he daughters room. I'm so glad I found this spot! I will bring out of town guests here when they ask for souvenirs. And I will be back for more shopping too.
