I found this gem while shopping in Atlantic Beach with a friend. The store is near Pete's Bar. Shorelines Gift Shop had reasonably priced items such as hats, magnets, cloths, sunglasses, wind chimes and many other items. And the owner was nice and funny. She had us laughing during checkout. I purchased a beige Atlantic Beach ball cap for $12. Great find for a great price. My friend purchased several star fish for he daughters room. I'm so glad I found this spot! I will bring out of town guests here when they ask for souvenirs. And I will be back for more shopping too. read more

The gift shop was full of unique and interesting things to look at. I could spend the whole day in here and chat with the retired age women who worked in here. Such wonderful conversations with them. When I lived in Jacksonville for 10 years I never visited Shorelines. While on my way for a bite, I walked by Shorelines and remembered a brief convo with the nugget ("Mommy, will you bring me back a present?"). I figured I'd just get him some overpriced gift at the airport, but then when I saw Shorelines I figured I have a few minutes to spare and wasn't hangry, so I stopped in. The sweet sounds (depending on your taste) of Jimmy Buffet played when I entered. Please note, by no means am I a parrot head (I.e. a Jimmy Buffet fanatic). I walked in and saw a lot of souvenirs. I kept thinking, "ok, we are at the beach, it'll be overpriced stuff." I never say this to my husband, but I'll say this to Shorelines: I was wrong. No, I won't repeat it. Prices were reasonable. Shirts for kids $10, Rubber duckies for the tubby (um, I mean tub) $1, mini stuffed flamingo $3, flamingo adult Hawaiian shirt $18, pretty sweet deals. I felt like they were giving this stuff away, just joking, but I felt like they were very fair with pricing. Lots of typical souvenir items like shirts, coconut turtles, flamingos, beachy jewelry, magnets, dresses, etc. A great little find. Pros: -Awesome prices -Good variety Cons: -Tucked away so you may miss it Takeaway: I've got a kid who's going to be stoked about getting more than one present. Mom win. read more

HELP THE LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS! Did you know that if you are visiting Jax beach there are only like 2 souvenir stores in the area? Yeah that's right local business stores are only like two between Jax and Neptune beach. So this little store you have to go into the plaza through all the restaurants and right across from city hall to find. Ms. Patsy was sweet lady, the store has so many little trinkets you would get lost. Lost art of postcards are dwindling but that's always what I'm looking for so I stopped and supported with the small purchase that I could. read more

I don't know how many Florida Yelpers have actually been to the New England seashore, but it was like Shorelines was plucked right from a coastal village in Cape Cod and set on the border of Atlantic and Neptune Beach. Strolling in here, I was just transported up North. I heard one of the ladies working talking to another customer and saying that this store has been in operation for 31 YEARS! How amazing! So Shorelines is your spot if you love kitschy beach deco, shirts and tanks emblazoned with Neptune Beach or Atlantic Beach, and all sorts of sweet, little knicks knacks to add ambience to your beach themed porch. This being my first real visit to the "Beaches Town Center," I didn't have my heart set on anything and figured if I found something that it'd be a win. I was able to find two really great tanks for just $15 a piece. One is for Atlantic Beach and the other for Neptune Beach to serve as a reminder to get out to the Beaches more often. I, also, grabbed a sweet patriotic bandana with a design that I've never seen before. I really dug this little spot and wanted more than just the two shirts that I bought. It'll give me all the reason to stop in again on my next trip to the area, hopefully, for a beach day. read more

Came in today to look for some Florida themed souvenirs and whatnot. The store looks dingy on the outside, and it smells like really old building/dust/I don't even know what. The things in there are really generic and it's not stuff I would get. But the real reason why I'm giving a one star is because they sell shark jaws, preserved shark carcasses, gator heads, and gator paws. All of their shells and animal stuff is real, according to the shop keeper. And I'm thinking that it's taxidermy and really very cruel and nasty. I don't support this shop. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

Now Shorelines has been around for many years. Debbie carries all types of beachy stuff. From cool shirts to some flip flops. You can even find some unique bumper stickers too. I love the one I got years ago and can not find it anymore " I Blame My Parents" so if you want some be arty stuff or just some off the wall stuff shorelines is your place. read more

Shop here! What an underrated store! Really comfortable clothing for $20 or less! One small fitting room, but it did the trick. I bought two dresses for myself and two for two young girls that I know. They have your typical tacky seashells and souvenirs but sometimes we need to buy those things. They also have very cute, funny laugh out loud cards as well. I shopped at two of the upscale boutiques, and enjoyed them but really enjoyed this little shop! read more

My daughter made a 50$ purchase thru Shorelines. Upon trying to return and have corrected she was mocked, talked down to and disrespected in no ways that a child should be. She saved her money to purchase this and was treated horrible. Basically "oh well not their problem" I have shopped at shorelines for years as most of all my family does since we are local. I believe in supporting our local vendors but apparently its not very appreciated. Upon speaking with the owner myself she screamed and wined like a child that she be heard. I believe in good customer service no matter the amount spent or the age. I have always sent out of town guests there for souvenirs and gone there when i needed to purchase a gift. No longer will i shop there and I will make sure to share my customer experience with anyone looking for a "nice" place to shop. read more
