The best part? Tricare Prime insurance covers so these thousands of dollars procedures cost me nothing! I consulted with 3 other plastic surgeons in the area all of them charged a min $150/consultation visit and $500-900/mole removal. In my case since we are Prime, I just needed to get a referral from my primary doctor, then everything from the initial consultation to all of the moles removal and follow up were covered fully. Sometimes you'd associate "free" to something that is "less" than paying thousands, nope, not in this case. When it comes down to your FACE, you'd be scrutinizing everything, so take it from me with 6 facial moles and 2 bodily moles removed that I am very impressed and would highly recommend!

After having six children, I had significant abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti) that left me feeling defeated even after working out consistently at the gym. Dr. Kochuba repaired it beautifully, along with addressing the capsular contracture in one of my breasts. The results are truly amazing. I look like a new person. My abdomen is flat and strong again, something I thought I'd never have again! I feel confident in ways I haven't in years. From the very first consultation to the most recent post op appointment, Dr. Kochuba provided expert care. He took the time to listen to all my concerns, answered questions, and made me feel at ease. His attention to detail and surgical skill are outstanding. Recovery was great compared to most experiences I read about and I credit this to Dr. Kochuba's excellent surgical skill. He truly cares about delivering the best possible outcome, both visually and physically, and it shows in the results. The entire team at Austen-Weston was fantastic as well. Simone was wonderful (and patient, as I had many questions!) during my consultation, Katrina made sure I was comfortable and prepared the morning of surgery, and Anastasia provided caring support during my overnight stay, which I highly recommend adding on if you can. Even the Anesthesiologist did a perfect job and I wasn't even nauseas when waking up after surgery, which has happened every other time I've been put under. Every single staff member was professional, kind, and attentive. If you are considering restorative surgery, especially anything involving the abdomen or breast revision, Dr. Kochuba is the surgeon you want. He exceeded all my expectations and I am forever grateful for the transformation he gave me. Highly, highly recommend!

So, let's start with the positive: around 2001, I had a procedure here and was very happy with…read moreeverything. Recently, I went back for a second procedure, but this time after donating a kidney. The pre-op was a mess, including: - The practice contacting my transplant surgeon for clearance, even after I asked them not to. (At this point, she has no obligation to me except for routine monitoring. Plus, I haven't seen her as a patient since I donated four months ago.) - My "patient advisor" telling me, inaccurately, that they are concerned about my "liver" function. I pointed out that my liver function is just fine. - My "patient advisor" telling me that my (bad) kidney numbers "keep going up, up, up." That's simply not accurate. - The "patient advisor" telling me that they would give me Celebrex post-op. My response: "Um, no. As I told you earlier, as a kidney donor, I cannot take NSAIDs." - My "patient advisor" falsely telling me, apropos a possible discount, "As I told you earlier...." Again, that simply didn't happen. - The practice ignoring my PCP's clearance for the procedure and, instead, saying they would delay for two months. - The practice ignoring my nephrologist's verbal clearance for the procedure and, instead, saying they would delay for two months due to a minor blip in my kidney numbers. To be clear, they should have asked my nephrologist about a pre-op evaluation, not my surgeon. I'm pretty disappointed, as this was going to be my present to myself after kidney donation. To be clear: I appreciate their being careful. But when we are talking about my health, accuracy is key. And I am just not seeing it. Plus, while these inaccuracies may not be a big deal when individually considered, taken as a whole, they are deeply concerning. And I don't know how a patient can give informed consent when they are getting bad information about being given NSAIDs, etc. In fact, I don't know why you would give an NSAID to a patient post-surgery, but perhaps I'm missing something. I should also state, in fairness, that my patient advisor is very new, so that may be part of the issue. She also is not an RN, which is okay, but then she should have a high level of basic medical knowledge-like knowing that you cannot give kidney donors NSAIDs. I've asked for my deposit to be refunded and plan to go elsewhere. I'd love to recommend this practice, but I can't.

From the moment I walked in, their tone was cold, dismissive, and at times outright rude. Simple questions were met with visible annoyance, and there was little to no effort to be helpful or even polite. It made an already stressful situation feel even more uncomfortable. That said, once I got past the front desk, my experience completely changed. The PA and the technician in the back were absolutely wonderful--kind, friendly, and professional. They took the time to listen, made me feel at ease, and provided great care. It's unfortunate that the first point of contact left such a negative impression, because the clinical staff truly deserve recognition for the positive experience they provide. I hope management takes a closer look at the front desk experience, because it doesn't reflect the level of care happening behind the scenes.

The results of eyelid surgery continue to improve over a few months and now I am 8 months post op and love the results! At a follow up checkup, I specifically asked if the mons area was swollen and will go down with time, he said, no, that's all you. The wounds that did not heal properly developed into fat necrosis and are like hard rocks on my incision scar and hurt when I wear belts with my clothing. I was told that nothing could be done to fix the fat necrosis for 1 year.....that is the healing time after surgery before you can cut into the skin again. He was also very impatient and did not want to hear about any of the issues just as the other patients with problems have described. On my 1-year anniversary, I visited Dr. Chang again. I expressed concern that there was too much skin left in the mons area and that the fat necrosis was uncomfortable. He was irritated, impatient, but offered to fix it for a price. Apparently, none of his other patients had this problem and it was my problem that I didn't heal perfectly. At the time, I also sent an email to the office manager expressing my problem with the Dr's attitude. Next month, I will be getting a second surgery with another doctor. It took me a while to work up the courage to deal with the pain that I will have to go thru again and the cost of over $8k. Because the fat necrosis has made the incision line bumpy and uneven, I will be getting a mini tuck to fix that and the extra skin that was left in the mons area. It disturbs me when I see that he has won awards for being one of the top surgeons in the area, but I guess if you are a perfect patient, then he is the perfect doctor; otherwise, I would not recommend him.

Skin laxity under and over the eyes and some fine lines here and there! Well I'm glad I did. I am 7 days out and I'm here to say it's not as bad as you think after watching all those YouTube videos. Dr Rostami, Alyssa and staff made me very comfortable during the entire process. Numbing cream and an oral pain killer and we were ready to rock and roll. The entire process was fast and while I will say there were a few areas that were more uncomfortable than others, it is tolerable!! I went home and followed all of the (provided) skin care routine and one week out it's looking pretty darn good. I'm not red like you see in those videos and most parts of my treated areas have gone from a sandpaper feel to nice and soft. I can't speak to the results as it is too soon but I can speak to the fear of getting it done. I cannot wait to see the results! And my research tells me the results will just keep getting better over time. I will update.

After introducing himself, he said medically he can't do anything cuz it's an oil build up. He give me 2 option (which I already knew) warm compress which I was already doing and removal with 90% success rate. I asked if there was another option such as cream or avoid using makeup or change anything, he said no. I asked what causes it, he said he has no idea. It was the most useless/waste of time appointment ever. I left with the same knowledge I already knew. Maybe they need to update their website about Dr. David's specialty cuz he had no idea what causes Chalazion or how to cure it, also to avoid others from wasting their time and money. So if you have Chalazion on your eyelids do warm compress or they will remove it with 90% success rate. There saved you a trip and money.
