I've been to this office 3 times and each time I've walked away with a great experience! When it comes to doctors, it's hard to be able to say that but it's true with the clinical dermatology center. I enjoyed it so much that I even brought my Husband for his annual check up. He had the practitioner Lexi Lepecha and I saw her today! She is so kind, has an awesome bedside manner, and very meticulous and thorough. You leave feeling really confident that your appointment was successful and all issues addressed. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said. The receptionist was, without question, the most unfriendly and unwelcoming customer-facing person I've ever encountered. From the moment I walked in, their tone was cold, dismissive, and at times outright rude. Simple questions were met with visible annoyance, and there was little to no effort to be helpful or even polite. It made an already stressful situation feel even more uncomfortable. That said, once I got past the front desk, my experience completely changed. The PA and the technician in the back were absolutely wonderful--kind, friendly, and professional. They took the time to listen, made me feel at ease, and provided great care. It's unfortunate that the first point of contact left such a negative impression, because the clinical staff truly deserve recognition for the positive experience they provide. I hope management takes a closer look at the front desk experience, because it doesn't reflect the level of care happening behind the scenes. read more

The only reason for 4 stars is because this office is so slow. I was waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes past my appointment then in a room for another 20 min. Spoke with the doctor for about 5 minutes but he was very approachable and easy to talk to. read more

I came here because I wanted to get some medication for my face and also wanted the doctor to take a look at my face. I get heat rashes when I become super dehydrated when out in the sun for too long. I'm not sure where it comes from, and it flared up recently, so it prompted me to visit. The doctor was knowledgeable about what could cause it, but could not fully diagnose me due to my face looking normal. He did request to come in immediately if I have another flare even if I don't have an appointment to get a better look. That made me feel like I wasn't just another client. The front desk people were both polite and professional when answering questions about billing and appointments. I do have an issue with their billing practice as far as charging $150 for new patients immediately. They do take the remaining money from you if your insurance does not cover it. It It is definitely a shocker when you don't expect to drop that kind of money. Overall still a great practice to visit! I'll come back if needed and recommend this place...just be ready for the bill. read more

This practice rips off military members and veterans. Charges for the full appointment and threatens to cancel the appointment after the fact. Refused to send prescription to our pharmacy and told us to use their pharmacy. Our insurance states we should and can only be charged $37 yet we were charged $187. They said they'll refund when they "get it all settled". Scammers. As they've replied to this review: My insurance called them and told them 3 times my deductible had been met. They were so rude to the healthcare rep she herself has reported this company for fraudulent practices, HIPPA violations etc. if you are military steer clear of these guys, they will rip you off, lie, tell you only one pharmacy can fill a script...mine did it same day after the manger said it's impossible only possible at their pharmacy. There is a foreign issue here where the practice manager will only speak to men, and will state the the woman is too rude. This practice cannot account for the billing, uses a "clearing house" to see if your deductible is met, tells you that you're causing headaches when you ask questions. I plan on exposing this "doctor" office for the frauds they are. The positive Google reviews are paid reviews and are 100% not legitimate. Look at the 1 star reviews and how the office replied. It's sick and backs up all negative reviews of this office. read more

Front desk person made me feel like she was Racist. My appointment was at 8:00 am. I reached at 7:52 am, door was closed and I did see recepnist at front desk knocked and asked her to let me in. She said it opens at 8:00 am. I said okay I will wait, than after 2 minutes I knocked asking I will finish any paperwork if required before, for which she said not required. So, I was waiting than at 7:57 white guy came and she opened the door for him. I thought he will be told to wait just like me to wait until 8:00.. Some more things happened later, which really gave me feeling. I got treated bcos of my color. Anyways, I think there is some training required at your clinic specially for frontdesk. Other receptionist who is bit sr was nice to me and she helped me with my checkin process. read more

It was fairly painless other than filling out the usual paperwork one does when going to a dermatologist for a skin issue and being a new patient. I was in and out of there in about 45 minutes with the prescription already being sent to my pharmacy via fax with a follow up appointment about three weeks later. The prescription itself was kinda pricey even with my Medicare Part D price plan but it did work within the 3 week treatment timeframe. I couldn't be happier about the results. read more

I am really happy and grateful to have found this clinic and to have met Dr Jungwirth , M.D. One morning I woke up to my daughter (8) having an all over body rash and as a mom, I was extremely worried it was something more serious. The pediatricians couldn't help me, nor an urgent care that we went to that was meant for children. Thankfully I came across Clinical Dermatology Center and the receptionist/staff that answered was helpful and quick to get us in that same day. I never got her name but I am grateful for her and how patient and kind she was as I was worried. That's when I met the MD and she was able to assess my daughter and prescribe her the correct medications where in just a few days the rashes were beginning to heal. My daughter had such a great experience that when I went in for her follow up, I scheduled a dermatologist appointment with doctor Jungwirth for myself and was able to get topical meds for my rosacea and acne (which so far has felt great on my skin and hasn't been irritating) and I love it. Again the staff was amazing as well as during the follow up - I had to take my daughters little sister and the front desk lady brought them individually wrapped new toys(squeeze mini toy on a keychain) to play with as we waited and they even left with pink "elephant" balloons. The girls enjoyed their time there without fuss or complaints of wanting to leave as wait time was super quick and the whole vibe and energy of the place felt warm and welcoming. I recommended a friend of mine to this location and hopefully she loves it as much as we did. Wait time was quick and scheduling availability was a breeze. Highly recommend. Doctor Junwirth is an amazing dermatologist but her receptionist is very rude causing you to not even want to call and schedule an appointment. I got a call this morning confirming my appointment that I completely forgot (mom of three, I work full time and I go to school full time) I called to be placed on hold and when the receptionist picked up and I tell her i forgot about my appointment I was rudely interrupted with "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?" I was going to ask to be 10 mins late but canceled my appointment instead I refuse to be treated with poor service especially when each visit is out of pocket. Hopefully they get re trained or the receptionist just had a better day! read more

I was seeing a dermatologist in my area who would assist in the removal of moles via freezing. When I went to make an appointment I found out that he had retired so I began to search for another one who could do the same thing. I chose the Clinical Dermatology Center because of the positive reviews and the services they provided. I live in Woodbridge and the office was in Chantilly but was willing to give it a try. I was able to book the appointment online and get one the following day. I arrived a few minutes late due to traffic but nothing was mentioned about that and I proceeded to check in. I waited less than 10 minutes before I was seen and asked some preliminary health questions. Dr. Talanin came in a few moments later and I we listened to my concerns and did an exam of the areas I was worried about. He was very thorough in telling me all the different types of moles and what I could do about them and left the choice up to me on what option of treatment I would like. I chose again to go with the freezing option which was done right then which I was really glad about because I didn't want to make another appointment. The staff was all very friendly and so was Dr. Talanin and I felt very comfortable there. On my way out the receptionist provided me with a variety of product samples to try. NEW Dr Talanin is the best dermatologist I have ever been to. Our family has been privileged to be under Dr Talanin's excellent care since he began practicing in Virginia - about twenty years . He is exceptionally knowledgeable , really smart and talented and is a truly kind and truly competent doctor. He , as the saying goes - really "knows his stuff". He is an excellent diagnostician. I know he makes and will make the right call when he diagnosis and treats us. I saw Dr Jungwirth for hormonal acne concerns after reading about her online. The office was clean and easy to find, and the administrative staff was very polite and helpful. However, once Dr Jungwirth arrived to my appointment she did not ask me ANY questions or even look at my skin before immediately writing on an acne treatment plan paper that I should start birth control. I was shocked because I know that starting birth control involves a range of side effects and lifestyle considerations that she didn't ask or seem to care about - what if I had been trying to get pregnant? After expressing this hesitancy to rely on an oral medication, Dr Jungwirth was brisk and dismissive of the rest of my concerns and questions. She prescribed me a topical medicine (again, without asking anything about my skin experience and condition) that she told me would probably be ineffective, as it was NOT birth control.
