Even though we work with a well-known local plumbing supply company, the plumbing industry in our area doesn't have much use for the material we need which is ABS Foam Core Black Pipe. Another issue is that it has to ship on a flatbed truck. Shipping costs can be expensive doing this so you want to ship in full truckload quantities and of course we don't need a full truckload. Anyway, I reached out to Charlotte Pipe through their website and asked if there was anything they could do to help us. And they did. They were able to get it worked out so it would ship to the local plumbing supply company which in turn made it possible for us to purchase. They not only did this for us in 2022 but are doing it again now, Jan. 2024. So many other companies would not go the extra mile like this to help out a smaller end user. In this day and age places would just say sorry, can't help you and go on to the next person.
