I called Colair and I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. Technician Eddie Ramirez arrived at my home on time and as promised. Eddie greated me with a smile and a firm handshake. Im old school, so the firm handshake and eye to eye contact told me a lot about Eddie and I didnt even know him. Eddie asked me a few questions about my issue and explained to me in detail what he was going to do. Eddie went to work right away. Eddie's work ethic was thorough and professional. Eddie told me exactly what the problem was and showed me photos and a video of what he observed. To show me a video and pictures of the problem was exceptional customer service. Eddie could of walked in and told me anything but I could tell Eddie was proud of the company he was representing. Drum roll. Eddie showed me the bill to repair the problem. I was really hoping the matter was not major. The estimate was very reasonable and normally I would have no issues paying the cost for the repair. I explained to Eddie I was having a hard time due to the government shutdown. I had to wait until the boss, my wife, came home to see what we could. All kidding aside, Eddie gave me so many options to pay. Eddie talked me through every payment option the company had. I felt Eddie was real and was truly looking out for me, the customer. Eddie said he would also discuss the matter with his manager so I could get the best deal/price. My wife and I were able to get an excellent price and a payment plan we could afford. The kind of payment plan that doesn't keep you up all night. Sometimes when you write a review for someone like Eddie, you really cant express in words how the person made you feel. Eddie made me feel the repairs would be completed in a professional, timely manner, because Eddie was going to do the job. I had trust in Eddie from the time he shook my hand. A technician named Fabio came out and after his inspection told me that it was going to cost me 14000 dollars. So needless to say I called back the 1st guy and he told me the there was alot of damage to the unit that was not there before. The price didn't change because we changed out the unit in the attic any way but I don't see Colair technician trying to get the unit back up and running just trying to screw over the customer. Don't believe the Mr Ruben and Jessie commercials it's a bunch of BS . Or they got one bad technician in the bunch and we all know the saying.

Washer/Dryer was okay. Weed cleaning was mediocre at best. They had to move some pipes around the laundry room and cut into the drywall to do so. They pierced into the wall in the room next door. They repaired the damages, but when it came to the color matching of the walls' paint, they got a completely different color and they were going to leave it as it was and instead of fixing their mistake, they wanted me to spend hundreds on labor and paint to repaint the whole area in my 15' high cieling home. I took it upon myself to get the correct color from Home Depot, and they painted it on, and it was a correct match. ( let me add they did patch up a whole in my kitchen free of charge). I stated specifically what weeds needed to be cleaned before the process began. When they claimed to be done with the weeds, they didn't do any of the front sidewalk until I told them. Even so, it was not detailed professionally. Granted, they did work with the price. But I wonder if that's why I got a poor job with the weeds. As the projects were complete and they were getting ready to leave, I pointed out areas that needed to be cleaned from the materials of the drywall that stained my gazebo and back door handles. Time management was horrible. They decided the times they would arrive and I'd agree the day before. Regardless of their excuses, they never made a single appointment on time, having me waking up and waiting for hours at a time. I decided to try them again for a fence project I'm about to begin. Last week (Thursday at 1100 am) they informed me they would arrive 'First thing in the morning at 7' Monday morning. I agreed. There was no cancelation, so I assumed we were good to go. I woke up Monday morning at 0500 am to a message they sent at 9:46 last night to confirm if we were good for Monday morning. I texted yes. He stated that he didn't get an answer last night that we needed to reschedule. Don't get me wrong. The work they did was excellent as far as the Gazebo and Laundry room. They were helpful with the added patch work. They are good at making appointments but bad at being on time or keeping them. This is a review for them as much as the person attempting to hire them on mistakes that can be fixed. Time Management and Attention to detail are very needed for this up and coming company as well as cleaning after the projects are complete.

I was shopping around one day on google for a contractor and called some of the most reputable outfits in town. All I needed was a removal of a Mini Split and a reinstall of brand new equipment which I purchased still in the box. So I called these contractors are on google in the Edinburg, McAllen area. These outfits had close or better than 5 stars, one guy said they only do central air, so OK. I call another reputable company, don't remember the name of the outfit, guys name was Kyle. He works me up a quote better than 1500.00. Folks that is ridiculous, just for labor and miscellaneous supplies, I said I'm sorry, thanked him for his time. I decided to look on yelp and posted my needs. Four contractors pop up Colair was one, yes the guys that advertises on TV, His reply, he doesn't offer this service, go figure. JC air conditioning and heating wouldn't even respond, neither would Reliable plumbing. Only guys that responded were were from PrimAiry Comfort . I stressed how unhappy I was with these stingy, greedy, money-oriented contractors and their ridiculous quotes. Telling me they're not working for beer money. That's laughable, If I was not looking for a reputable tech I wouldn't had called them. I simply need a legitimate HVAC technician with a fair approximate quotation for this particular job task, real simple. After expressing my concerns with the people at PrimAiry Comfort I didn't expect a reply but... low and behold, he replied, they were very understanding and said the will be by next day around 10am. Sure enough Eddie messaged me next day and said he was on the way. Let me tell you these guys are legit, didn't show up in a beater, he had a company vehicle. Nice, polite, and fair, didn't try to sell me up, gave me a quote that was concise and to the point. Enough said..I can go on and on. I am pleased with both Eddie and Nabor's commitments, they are both licensed, I highly recommend these gentlemen for any caliber of HVAC endeavor.
