As an Emerald member with the one World alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again

On my way to SFO, I asked for a coffee and chugged most of it. The flight was so short that I had to give it back before landing! (The flight was literally a skip and a hop long.) It's been awhile since I've been on a commuter jet. In my sleep-deprived state, I commented, "Cute plane!" and then the flight attendant chirped back, "Aw, you're cute!" Friendly staff on both legs of my flight. Clean plane. No Wi-Fi or little TVs, or anything like that, but planes will vary, I'm sure.

Second Star for very convenient check in, security, boarding, deplaning, baggage claim and rental car services at this airport. Everything is efficient, short distance and well synchronized. Small airports rock! Third star for having nonstop service to Los Angeles in addition to the local service the Denver, unlike DL and AA that only serve Salt Lake and Phoenix. Fourth Star for being one of the few routes that is not filled to the last seat. Planes are usually half full so there is a good chance to spread out. Fares tend to be low, as demand is low. No fifth star as UA Express only uses tiny CRJ-200 on this route that have the smallest seats. No first class cabin either.

Today they've delayed our flight 4 times and bc the only seats free are in first class, they refuse to allow us there as it's reserved for medallion. Spent two separate hours of my trip with 5 different cust service agents who all transferred me as they don't have "authority" to help me. They do not care that I have family, pets and a job to get back to. Delays and changes don't bother me, it's the lack of care and attention and refusal to make it better
