Over the last six years we began to use condo's, homes, and beach front villas in efforts of ditching hotels when traveling. Between Jamaica, Mexican Riviera and Hawaii (Kauai), St. George, Utah is #4. This was a last minute rush and very simple to book. However using our link to find rental properties by owner, the owner of this property was in transition to removing themselves from that link and assured me the new site "red sands vacations" was a safe site. Sure it was a curve and I felt assured after being contacted by management. New customer on the cusp and we're glad we acted. Due to short notice, we paid the full balance and got our confirmation via email with address, condo # and keyless entry code. The directions provided were accurate and we arrived shortly after 3pm to find our rental nicely furnished and air conditioner set to low and cool. Fully furnished 100% with Kitchen/kitchenware, linen, towels, blankets, ironing board/iron, board games, private laundry room, 3 bedroom furnished with TV's, cable box , blue ray, speakers, comfy family room, large mirror closets with organizers. Having all the comforts of home has become our new habit and don't have plans to return to hotels in the future. Bring your clothes and stock the pantry, refrigerator and freezer. If you need to buy something minor, leave it behind and add more things that have accumulated over the months like trash bags, dish detergent or laundry fabric softener. Three ring binder with a welcome cover sheet, detailed instructions on do's and don'ts. A list of restaurants, attractions and things to do. A complete list of emergency numbers in case of any mechanical issues like plumbing and electrical or a non working code. My daughter and her bestie used both swimming pools after sunset till 10pm. The gated pool is only accessed with a key fob to keep unwanted visitors out. Each unit comes with a open parking stall and enclosed single car garage. Keyless entry worked flawless and had no issues. All the electronics in each bedroom worked and each had it's remote control. Housekeeping is available but we didn't pay the extra fee's since we had a short stay and didn't spend any extra time inside. Condo also included a small assortment of handy tools I found above the cabinets in laundry room. The complex has roughly 12 buildings on a large property with ample spacing in between with manicured green lawns. We hardly saw anyone coming or going in our travels. Very quiet with license plates as far as British Columbia. Situated on a hillside overlooking new and old homes, it has a nice view of the city and beyond. Guard shack at entrance has a nice hardscape design. These buildings are probably built in the 80's and hardly show any damage from harsh summer and winter months. Very comfortable and quiet. The amount we paid was justified and would gladly return or recommend to others. As a side note, our unit could use some touch up paint around baseboards, doors and jambs. A few dull spots here and there on finish walls and I would calll immaculate. I'm sure Red Sands can accommodate your preference if you seek valet, dining, room service, guest services, spa treatment, complimentary champagne and brunch. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. We booked our vacation home in November, months in advance. Then, just five days before our arrival, we were informed that our house had been given to another family. The company admitted the mistake was their fault, yet told us there was nothing they could do except offer a much smaller house that could not accommodate our group. What made the situation even worse was their attitude. They stated they would not inconvenience the other party who booked after us, despite acknowledging that we had reserved the property first and that the error was entirely theirs. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and complete disregard for our family's plans was extremely disappointing. I would never book with this company again and would strongly caution others before trusting them with their vacation accommodations. read more

Nice rental close to plenty of activities and necessities. Everything was as promoted and clean. It was a good decision!

This rental company rentals at Copperrock treat its surrounding neighbors terribly. They has no respect for the neighbors in the Cliffdwellers Ranch subdivision which adjoins Copperrock. They do not honor Utah's Night Skies Resolution though they promised to prior to starting the development. They light up their rentals which so bright we no longer can see the stars at night. The lights are as bright as headlights shinning into our bedrooms. The loud parties and swearing golfers add to the grief. Mayor Billings and her code enforcement officers don't see an issue. Campaign Contributions? Friends? Wonder why??? Maybe the code enforcement should work at night. Don't do business with with non-caring rental companies. read more

We had SO much fun staying at Sand Hollow Sunrise (Elim Valley 4193) with Red Sands a few weeks ago! We went down to Hurricane, UT with some family friends and our kids had a blast swimming in the home's heated pool and lounging in the hot tub. We were able to save time and money by making meals in the house rather than going out to eat and Walmart is less than 5 minutes away if you need to pick up some ingredients or other items for your trip. We loved that the home came with some fun board games and our kids had fun with the two Nintendo Switch consoles (Super Smash bros was a hit!). Other things we liked - the neighborhood has two pickleball courts so we enjoyed playing on those. Sand Hollow State Park is just down the road so we spent a day boating at the reservoir and loved it!!! We also did an easy day trip to Zion National Park. The home is in a super fun location and it's very spacious and beautifully decorated. Red Sands took great care of us when we had a question about how something worked with the pool. We used Red Sands vacation Properties so we could stay next door to my Brother-in-laws property. The unit is located in Ocotillo Springs. It's a new development and in a great location. So many great sites to see nearby. Our unit had three bedrooms, one room had 2 sets of bunk beds. Each bunk has three beds so in all 6 people can sleep in them. The other two bedrooms had king beds. It was stocked well in the kitchen and bathrooms. They have jacuzzi spa on back patio. We spent our Thanksgiving with family here, nice townhome. read more

We recently stayed at a property managed by RedSands. We had so many problems with our unit - Ocotillo Springs #21. The entire HVAC broke for 24 hours, leaving us with a temperature of 65 degrees. They did come fix it, only for it to break again a day and a half later, again having a temperature stuck at 65 degrees for another 24 hours. Concerning as we had a baby and people in our group that were sick. In addition to this, the washing machine was broken so laundry facilities could not be used, the pool was broken and not heated so no one wanted to use that, and the front door was broken making it difficult, and impossible for some, to enter the unit. RedSands was quick to respond to our many issues, but we felt like we spent half of our trip coordinating and dealing with problems. It was super frustrating. And after all that, the resolution they offered was very disappointing. We asked for a refund for the two nights we had no heat and were willing to let the issues with the washing machine, pool and front door go. In the end they refunded about half of what we had originally asked as they said they were willing to forego their profit but not willing take even $1 of a loss on their end. So just be warned, if there are issues, they will not take care of you in a fair and reasonable manner. We will not be giving them future business. read more

1845 Las Palmas Unit 1714 This condo was filthy. Look at the pictures and judge for your self. I have several more. Unfortunately this was over Christmas and we had already paid in full. We also had our kids coming in from out of town. When my husband let management know that I had been cleaning all day, the response was they were sorry and would pass it on. Cleaning up other peoples filth, washing bedding, etc were not how I planned to spend Christmas. We have now been offered a 10% discount and cleaning fee refund. That is ignorant and insulting. You decide if you would stay in a place that does not value their guests. read more

Stayed here in Coral Springs when my family was visiting from Europe for my wedding, and everything was perfect! There was enough space for everyone and the location made life so much easier when going into town or going to the lake, and everything was perfectly clean and cozy. The management company was super communicative and helped us out when we had to extend the stay, I highly, highly recommend them! My family can't wait to come back and visit! read more

The house was beautiful, but the air conditioning was set to 78 degrees. For a house that can sleep 24 in the heat of the summer, it should be able to be controlled internally. It was over 80 degrees every night inside and nobody slept. Then add to that the fact that they only left 3 back up rolls of toilet paper. Again house sleeps 24 and we only got the rolls left on the holders and 3 extra. The property was beautiful but I am unlikely to stay here again. read more

This place is a scam. The inventory everything down to the last fork. The unit was not cleaned when we got there and there was other peoples personal property that was left from before. The day after we checked out they said there was a missing Wi-Fi unit. Then that changed to a missing wii console From a room that we never even used. They could not provide proof that it was present before we rented the unit. Yet they tried to charge me $300 for a used wii console. read more

I booked my reservation at Coral Springs in Hurricane through Red Sands Vacations. Sariah was the gal I worked with. We ended up in B12 which we absolutely loved though being on the third floor was a bit rough for us. Luckily we had grandchildren in Hurricane who came for a visit and helped us carry everything up! The view from the third floor was beautiful. We enjoyed the fireplace on the deck as well as the fireplace inside. All my questions were answered promptly. (couldn't find the fireplace switch) The pool was super warm, great for swimming. The grounds were beautiful. From here we visited Zion and also Pink Coral Sands in the Kanab area. Thank you Sariah! We recently stayed at Paradise Village at Zion #107 and it was amazing! The home puts most 5 star resorts to shame. We really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with dishes, pans, and cooking essentials. The home was so clean including the garage, grill, pool, and whole backyard area. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom plus a half bath on each floor. Samsung TVs are all over the house and 2 were over 70 inches. We loved the rental so much we shortened our tours to spend more time at the home! read more

I have stayed at these homes a few times. The homes look great and are in good shape. This last time I stayed there they had bed bugs. I woke up itching and pulled back the sheets and found fesses in the cracks of the mattress. We even found a bed bug crawling around the bed. We put it in a bag and left it for them. I didn't ask for a penny, or a refund of any kind. The only thing I asked for was a copy of the fumigation receipt so I could see that they actually care about their guest health. I had to ask every month and every month was told they didn't have it. It's been over a 6 months now and they still have not done it. I am disgusted that they won't pay the money for a simple thing like fumigating and would rather rent the units and save the fumigation costs for MONEY. This shows that something this easy and small for the health and safety of their guests is overlooked. Like I said don't be deceived by the surface beauty, this company does not care about you! They don't care about the hours you will have to spend to clean, sanitize, suffocate and all of the steps you will have to take to kill these resilient insects so they don't end up at your house. BE AWARE that they don't care about you! Here are their responses when they were told. November 3rd Thank you so much! We apologize for this inconvenience we had no idea! I will alert the team immediately. How much longer will you be staying in this unit? November 4th 2019 I will most definitely get you a copy of that, once we receive it. Red Sands Vacations took over management of our condo in Las Palmas in March of this year. These guys are AWESOME in every way. They have taken over handling our property and making sure it is booked frequently. I no longer need to worry about having items handled as they have taken that responsibility from me and have done an amazing and thorough job in keeping the property maintained and rented regularly. I am still speechless in watching them and their professionalism. It is more than I had imagined, really. Rec Sands and Sports Village has been our go to family vacation spot for years. Red Sands makes it easy to book and Sports Village is s perfect place for the family. You are minutes away from rock climbing, hiking, and phenomenal MTN biking plus there is a Rec center and multiple pools. We stayed in condo F4 at Sports Village. It was great for a family up to 6, especially if you want to save some money and cook. There is a descent size kitchen and a large dining room table. The master bed was comfortable and the living room had a nice blowup mattress. There was also a bunk bed in a large closet without a door. We though it might be a little tight and the kids would choose to sleep on the inflatable. To our surprise the kids thought bunk bed room was the coolest! read more

Disappointing stay in Zion Village #415. The property itself is wonderful, new, clean and well appointed. The disappointing part of our stay was that this was a partial work trip for me and the internet/wifi and cable were all non-functioning in our unit. We arrived late on a Thursday evening and noticed that the wifi was not working. The next morning we called customer service and they sent the maintenance worker over to investigate. We were told it was a billing issue due to the owner not paying for service and that it would be resolved shortly. The internet/cable remained non-working all day. On Saturday we called again and were told it wasn't a billing issue but maybe a service provider issue. On Sunday we called again and they simply said they didn't know why it wasn't working and no one came by to troubleshoot. The entire stay Thursday thru Monday we did not have internet or cable TV. Additionally we were never contact during our stay about efforts the property manager was making to correct the situation. We had to continuously call for updates and still received no answers. This is a beautiful property but customer service is lacking. The internet issue would not have been such a big deal, but I was expecting to work during this trip and had to rely on going to the clubhouse for service when it was open...not the same time I had planned to work. read more

We stayed in the Stairway to Zions 720 locations. This was our first time using this company & it was honestly one of the best experiences we've ever had. When we arrived the house was cool & very clean. It was less expensive than trying to stay anywhere closer to zions & it was in the perfect quite area. Gas station, grocery store & many places to dine. Although we loved that their was a bbq'er to use & outdoor set up was beautiful. After a long day of hiking it was nice to be able to relax in the cool backyard. Absolutley stress free & we didn't even have to clean before we left.
