Being in the city makes it difficult finding a reliable auto body and mechanic shop, but search no further because you won't be disappointed after stopping by here! I brought my car in after it was hit while parked outside of my apartment, which required fixing my driver's side fender, and replacing my driver's side door. After an initial few words back and forth, I decided to ask about a quote for some additional out of pocket expenses. Let me tell you, I couldn't be more satisfied!!! My car was sideswiped. My black car had a white scrape down the entire side! I was heartbroken. I took it to American Auto Collision for repair. I can't say enough how glad I am that I did! They handled everything! From beginning to end it was painless. They handled the appraisal, the supplemental appraisal, and the repair quickly and completely. Granted, no person is usually in a very good mood when he/she goes to get body work done on a car; however, I really felt like the scheduling aspect of this operation was lacking. I specifically talked to them and wanted to keep driving my car until they would actually be able to work on it with around a 1 week turnaround. I dropped off my car and 2 weeks later I was still being told that it would be done the next day.... Not very good operations management or customer service. With that said, the price was fair and when I really did push them (near yelled at the guy) my car was done soon after. Also, the fit and paint were up to par. My recommendation: Probably look someplace else for your auto body repairs. read more

A family friend recommended me to go there. I did not read all these negative reviews otherwise I would not go there. But it was OK place. Firstly I would agree with other reviewers that the customer service part is not the strongest part of this business. I was naive enough to let those "parking lot body shop" fraudsters to "fix" my car rear fender earlier so needed to go somewhere to have my car door fixed. a. The owner (Armen if I am not wrong) was a nice person. b. The lady on reception is not the best receptions out there for sure. On the positive side, they fixed my car on the timely matter and I picked up rental right from their place. My dealership recommended AAC for some minor repairs. Julia at check-in was not only knowledgeable, but very efficient w/ my pre-service estimate. Once finished she had Sergio walk me through my repair estimate which was below what I had anticipated....so much so, that I asked about a few minor dings & chips. I scheduled my work, and returned to find a brand new car!! Not only was the work done quickly, and beautifully, but Sergio had completely detailed my car both inside & out. My insurance company sent me here when someone sideswiped me at a junction and I had the best experience with the company. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and the rental company - even going so far as to organise the return for me. They kept me updated on repairs and handed me back my car good as new. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They are extremely rude and unhelpful I walked in looking for someone to fix my car. They must be running drugs out of there because the woman's demeanor was not of someone trying to make money on auto repairs. Also the heavy presence of guard dogs doesn't make you feel great. I brought my new Escape in the other day to get a deep scratch (down to the metal) in a door panel repaired. The guys were very professional and they gave me a very fair price. They even went the extra mile to detail the inside of the car, in addition to a full wash and wax of the exterior, so it looks off-the-lot brand new again as if the scratch never happened! This is the best collision place I've been to thus far. I was driving around looking for a collision place when I came across American Auto collision as they were closing. Showed Sergio my estimate and he had me bring my vehicle right away. Exceptional customer service even with the receptionist. They drove me to Enterprise to pick up my rental and when my vechile was completed it was perfect. They even went a extra step and cleaned the inside and washed the outside. The worst. Julia is extremely unfriendly, and gave me a quote of a whopping $3100 to fix a DENT. I went to another auto body shop who fixed it for $1200 and in a shorter time frame than Armen's was saying. They are out to get your money. read more
