We purchased my 17 year old sons first car here recently. They provided car fax and were very easy to work with and fair price. It's a small family owned shop. They get their cars from auction and trade. I loved that they weren't pushy. I didn't get that icky used car dealer vibe. The one my son purchased was a 2012 Toyota Corolla S with 80,000 miles. It was a trade in. They replaced the rear tires and when there was a small crack in radiator that we noticed a few days after delivery, they were happy to replace it. Very nice folks. My poor 16 year old child fell in love an over priced vehicle left a $50" deposit and while her and her sister worked on financing they moved on and she so coldly indicated. Lisa crushed the heart of a child learning the ropes of navigating car sales. Lisa had us jumping through hoops all week and on Saturday when most working adults can finalize any missing items she basically said too bad. not sure what is up with these guys and many other dealers across the country. they al use the same website engine, different colors and graphics but all the same menus. They list fraud cars for a short period and then taken off, the same cars are listed at the other sites that use the same engine, different states. different VINs that have no history, not real VINs. don't know if these dealers are frauds or get hacked, either way they are not reliable listings. I contacted one for fun and did background searches on the emails and contact phones I got back. they belong to other people, typically younger and in a completely different state. read more

I bought a 2017 Civic with 44k miles last summer. I saw the car listing online I purchased it over the phone, since I was moving from California for an internship (my mistake will never do that again). Mark was very friendly when it came to the sale, but the car has given me nothing but problems and there were several huge red flags I missed. When I went to pickup the car, the AC was completely out, so Mark had to bring it to a repair shop to get it fixed (was told the Freon was out, but that shouldn't be the case for a 1.5 year old car). Additionally the front right bumper was missing some bumper clips and there was a deep scratch under the right headlight that was painted over. None of these issues were disclosed on the online listing. I was naive as a first time car-buyer and didn't think much of it at the time. After about a month or two the AC stopped getting cold, but it was late autumn by then. I put the car into storage for several months and pulled it out in July to use it again. The AC issue persisted, so I brought it to a Honda Dealership to have it inspected. The dealership got back to me that the AC issues were the result of a broken condenser and compressor (`$3k fix) due to collision damage on the front right side of the car. From the painted over gash, missing bumper clips, and the right side of the condenser being smashed, the car was clearly in a previous accident that was not disclosed to me. I reached out to Mark about the issue and was initially offered $300 in "good-will" but he quickly retracted the offer. I don't want to accuse them of hiding this previous damage, but even the Honda Dealership noted that the bumper must have been replaced or removed at one point due to the missing clips. Either that or Absolute Auto Sales has a really poor inspection quality. I saw that other reviews on Yelp noting that the vehicles they purchased also had undisclosed damages, so I just want to warn others. Now I'm in the hole $3k as a student because I trusted them too much as a first time car buyer. read more

I took my Toyota to Absolute to have the front brakes and rotors replaced. I'm not happy with the results as they are continuously squeaking. I went back to discuss the matter and had them replace the front brakes with what is supposed to be a better brake pad and paid an additional amount. However, the squeak is still there. I'm very disappointed and frustrated. I feel that the work was not done properly or the parts that they used are not good. In the past I have had new brakes replaced and did not have this problem... Absolute Auto Sales is the best! First of all, they gave me NO PRESSURE AT ALL, unlike the people over at Midway! My 2014 Ford Escape was super clean and inspected, and the very next day they had it ready to drive home all registered. What really impressed me was what happened AFTER I had already bought the car and been driving it a couple weeks. Ford has a program called MYKEY which is basically parental control for your car, where you can set each key to a "admin" key or a "mykey". Well, I was only sold ONE key. It was an ADMIN key when I bought the car. But of course, I was being curious and playing around with the high tech gadgets, and accidentally set my ONLY admin key to 'my key' and had it stuck on parental controls. I later found out the ONLY way to set it back is with another 'admin' key. There was another admin key programmed to my car, but it just was floating around somewhere. Not Absolute's fault. They were only sold one key as well. So. I searched on google and found out that this is a fairly common issue that occurs..every person that I found online that has been thru this was forced to pay $300+ to get an admin key programmed to their car. So I went back to Absolute, expecting them to say that there isn't anything they could do, and I would have to pay out of pocket. They ended up GIVING me the money to go get a new key programmed to my car, even though they were sold only one key from the auction, so it technically awash not their fault. Absolute is all about happy customers, and I really appreciate that!! read more

Bought a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL AWD with less than 30k miles on it for $12k. I have since got it up to 80k miles without a single car problem. Sales staff were pressure free and helpful. Highly recommend this establishment. My only gripe is that they have a very limited number of cars for sale at one time. read more

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Where do I start? First I will say, I have to laugh at how the previous reviews are being responded to so professionally. Face to face this is NOT the case! I purchased a truck from them about 4 months ago, I paid above kelly blue book value as it seemed to be in good shape. There were a few small issues right after I purchased the truck. The main electric window switch was not working on all the windows , the clips were broken on the back window switch and was held down by double sided tape ( which let go the first hot day we had so it was ), tire pressure light was on. In the end, all these things were taken care of so no big deal. Here's the story: The first rain we got I noticed the inside of my truck had a puddle on the floor. On further investigation I figured out it was coming from a cracked cab light. I took pictures of the crack so that I could send them over to absolute if needed. I called them up and the said they will order a new light assembly. They had me drop off the truck for the day once it came in. I picked it up drove home and inspected the work. Four pry bar shaped DENTS and scratches behind the new light! I called them up immediately and told them that the person who worked on the truck dented the SHIT out of it. The lady I spoke to said she will talk to the owner and call me back. About an hour later I get a call from the same lady. She stated the owner said the truck was like that previously so there was nothing they could do. I questioned her to be sure I heard her correctly and sure enough, I did! I went on to tell her ok, that's fine because I have pictures of the cracked light that show the cab was NOT dented previously and that I would be right down to show them to her. They refused to look at the pictures and instead brought the guy out that did the work and asked him if it was like that when it came in. He said I honestly do not remember. So I asked him to show me the tool he used, he went out back and came back with the tool in the picture below. I asked him if he used a buffer between the metal tool and the metal cab and he said "no.. that is a trim tool, that is what its used for". Reluctantly, they agreed they would "fix" the dents and scratches with a paintless dent removal. I agreed to let them try but stated I'm not going to be happy unless it is like it was before they damaged it. The end results were what I expected. It was better than it was but not like it was before the damage. Even more reluctantly, he agreed to have the area painted the whole time treating me as if I was the one in the wrong. The day comes where I pick up my truck for what I hope will be the final time after them having my truck for one full week between all the repairs. I ask for an invoice to show what work they did on the vehicle and I was bluntly told NO. When I questioned them why they said if you want to pay for the work we will give you an invoice. I said, why would I pay for the damage your employee did to my truck to be fixed?? I just want an invoice showing the work you did in case there is any other issues. They flat out refused and told me to leave. When I asked if this is how they treat their customers and said I had been very patient in letting them resolve the issue when I could have more easily gone through their insurance. They told me to get the fuck out ( this is the two men in the office) and said we don't want you as a fucking customer and called the cops. I admit at this point I got heated and yelled back (not my proudest moment). I waited for the cops just so I could get a police report of the incident and have something on file saying they did work on my vehicle seeing they wouldn't give me an invoice. The cop said he asked him to give me an invoice and again he refused and said If i want to pay him $50 he will write up an invoice. I'm not one to write reviews and gave them every chance to make things right. In the end they just kept giving more reason TO write this review. I really hope I saved someone the frustration I went through. read more

My husband and I bought a 2015 Subaru legacy in May. The men were courteous and calmed my nerves, as we were carless Boston residents the last decade, so I'm not the best driver. The car handled well, but we were still looking at a few other makes and models at other dealerships. They were patient throughout the process. We decided on their car and they put on 4 new tires and go us keyless entry. Just yesterday while in a parking lot, the driver's side rocker panel molding inexplicably fell off! I went there on a saturday to test drive a caravan. The guy working the front desk gave us the keys, we went to the vehicle and the keys did not belong to that vehicle, we went back inside and got a second set, once again same problem. finally the third set opened the vehicle, but it would not start because the battery was dead. they jumped the battery and we took it for a brief ride. I liked it, so we asked if we paid cash how they were with price negoation and taking discounts off of it. The employee responded anytime you pay cash we can always give you a good deal that it was easier to take more money off that way than if you were to get a loan or trade a car in. I put $100 on the vehicle to hold it so nobody else could buy it. I returned a few days later and picked it up to bring to my mechanic. After i was driving it for 5 min i realized the gas tank was completly empty and about to run out of gas, so i pulled over and used my own money to put gas in it. My mechanic found two problems that would keep the vehicle from passing mass inspection and one other problem with the trunk hatch. upon returning to absolute car and truck i was introduced to mark (owner) I showed him the report my mechanic wrote up. he was not willing to fix the trunk hatch. he said he would take $200 off the the ASKING price, or fix the trunk. one or the other not both, nor would he take another penny off. I then made a phone call to my father to ask his advice. Mark was speaking with my father on the phine when he (mark) started getting very loud and talking quite rudley to my father. Mark then hung up on him in mid sentence and slid my phone across the counter (very rudly because i handed the phone to him and didn't slide it) At that point i asked for my deposit back and the money for the gas. I told him that maybe he should talk to his employees about what they tell potential customers about how they can give you more of a discount if you pay cash, because all i got was more of a headache. as i turned and exited the office Mark (owner) then told me i could go fuck myself. I walked back in and said excuse me, i can go what myself... he stated he told me to buy a car somewhere else. mind you the other guys standing around were all smiling and a few laughing under their breath. I believe he treated me this way and spoke t me the way he did because i am a female. I may be a female, but i know i have rights, and i also know that the BBB and the attorney gernerals office doesn't take lightly to things like this. So with all this being said. I had driven by this dealership many times and decided to check out the cars and prices last week. I had been having issues with my pick-up truck's transmission and was told that it would need to be replaced sooner rather than later and my personal mechanic advised that I'd be better off trading it in. I'm on Social Security and a very limited income so I couldn't take a chance to lose my trans. There would be no way I'd be able to afford to replace it. So I went in and was up front with Rob, one of the owners and when he test drove it he was of the same opinion. He offered me a straight across trade for a car just a year older but only 42k miles on it. My truck had 113k. The CarFax report on the car came back with only one owner, no accidents and continuous service and maintenance. Rob and the other owner Mark knew my situation and really came through. The car was detailed by a very nice gentleman named deShawn (sp?) & his crew and made it look almost brand new. I'm 62 y.o. and never in my life ever thought I'd recommend ANY used car dealers but these guys give the business a good name. From what I've seen, they make the cars they sell safe and affordable. Now I've got an economical car that I can afford to drive and know I won't be stranded somewhere. read more

Forewarned is forearmed. Stay away from this used-car dealership. They are dishonest, disrespectful and are exactly the kind of operation where used-car salesmen and dealerships get their bad name. They say the vehicles are serviced, but I doubt it. If they indeed are, then they only do enough in order to flip the cars over. I almost bought a car from them. I looked for reviews on them, anything I could find before moving ahead with the purchase. It wasn't until after I put down a substantial down payment that I found a few negative reviews. One described how Mark swore at her when she was leaving after getting her deposit back, two described when they brought their cars back within the warranty period to have something covered fixed. They were told it was, and when their own mechanic looked at it later because the problem continued, they were told it never had been. In one case Absolute held on to the car until after the warranty period was over, and when the car was brought back again right after that, wouldnt do anything without charging them. After reading this, I was cautious but never told them what I had found out. My mechanic checked the car I almost bought and found several things. For instance, the car had been in an accident which wasn't on Car Fax. I know that can happen, but when I mentioned it to Mark, it was clear he knew about it though he behaved like he didn't. The brakes needed work and the original battery was still in the car. The car was 7 years old so it shouldn't have been. Several things needed replacement, and if this car was serviced like they said it was, it wouldn't have had the brake problems and other issues. Mark first said they'd do the work, and then said if they did the work and my mechanic either said it wasnt done, or found some other problem with it which resulted in my not buying the car would I be willing to forfeit my deposit. I laughed and told him to return my deposit. He made what some might consider rude comments such as if I wanted a new car that I should go to the dealership down the street because they just got some.I suppose I should have gotten mad but I didn't. I just laughed because what an idiot he was. They had blank checks in a draw that were like starter checks in that they had their account information on it but no check number. It appeared they're quite use to people asking for their deposits back. If you deal with this dealership, you won't get a car. You'll get headaches. read more
