Jeff's team has worked on a couple of my cars over the past two years and have done a great job both times. I took a 2013 Dodge Challenger to them that had a bad wax job that left brush swirls in it. It came from the dealership that way as a used car and to be honest I knew that it would be a waste of time to go back to those guys. However, Jeff's team took the car in and gave me a car back that looked brand new. He even got rid of a nasty door ding that happened right after I got the car. Jeff's team also took care of hail damage that happened to the car right after I got it. Once completed, that 2013 looked like a 2015, which is when the work was done. They also took in a used 2008 BMW in 2016 that I bought and put a new clear bra on it along with bringing the paint back to life. Once again, they were able to revitalize a used car to look almost new again. I will be taking my cars to them from now on as their work is second to none. read more

If there were negative stars, this place deserves it! The owner Jeff, acts like you are there and really bothering him! I had a 10am appointment and I showed up at 10am, they finally ask me at 1030am what I needed??!! I tell them I had an appointment. Then he tells me, "Well I'm sorry but I have 2 other cars later on in the day that will need your tint.. So I need you to come back next week for the appointment! ? I just drove 25 miles to get here and had an appointment with you since Monday! ? I'm here now, why can't your later appointment come back Monday?" So he folds and crumbles like a little man does. He went to the back to hide, he sends his Installer guy to come out to say, "Sorry man, we can't get to it today. The guy who booked you isn't here and we can't do it." Really guys?? THIS IS POOR, POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE ON ANY LEVEL. I can't understand how places like this are still in business?! So I came up the street to "TINT CRAFTERS ON BROADWAY" the owner took me right in, for $20 less than these Idiotic window tint clowns. And a bonus too, they have air conditioning at Tint crafters. It was a sweat box with no AC in that American Auto dump!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE PEOPLE.. They treat you like you need them way more than they need you! I've decides that I am going to open up a tint shop very soon, right next to these losers and take all of their business. Be on the look out for it! I'm serious too!!! read more

Jeff, Robert and the other guys at american auto are awesome. I dont usually write reviews unless an experience is truely aweful or great. These guys have exceeded my expectations with tinting on both my cars. They matched up tinting on the front windows with the factory dye tint that comes on most cars perfectly. And they absolutely stand behind their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I found a small smudge (turned out to be a glass imperfection) that looked like it was under the tint, Jeff fit me in the next day and had them remove the tint just to make sure it wasn't their fault. No cost to me, they really stand behind their work, I'm very happy I used them. They always seem to have some sweet cars parked out front and while i was waiting, met a guy and turns out the audi dealers use them for tinting and clear bra work as well. read more

This place did an amazing job on my 15 passenger Chevy express van! I was converting my van into a camper van, and because I am going to be living in the van, I wanted as much privacy as I could get. About ten years ago a buddy of mine got his girlfriends windows tinted for her for her birthday. I went with my buddy to pick up the car after it was finished. My buddy is super cynical and pretty hard to impress. When he walked around his girlfriends car, looking inside and out, he was beyond happy. This is how I decided to choose these guys to get my van done, too. I told them I wanted everything tinted as dark as I could get without getting pulled over all the time. The owner is very familiar with whats accepted, the laws, regulations, etc. He was very confident with every question I asked which gave me confidence in return. I dropped my van off and picked it up the same day! This was a about a year and a half ago and the tint is still perfect! No bubbles, no peeling, nothing! Highly recommend! I brought my car in, all said and done, some things had to be re done. After my car was done I still had 3 friends and a huge rv we needed wrapped. The biggest problem is when i asked for a quote on how much it would cost they said they would get back to me later that day... no call. I called the following day and they said they would call back. Still no call. Even when my friend brought his lotus in to get an estimate they never bothered to call him back. If they dont want business then they are doing a very good job of pushing people away. Wrapping our RV for our business alone would of been a HIGH PAYING JOB for them. There loss. Im just glad I have found someone that not only has great customer service but does a great job!
