So much fun at American Axes. Finally visited the one located at The Works in Midtown. You can't miss it; it's right next to Fox Bros. BBQ. Very friendly staff. The process to reserve a lane and to complete the electronic waiver was seamless. Book online. My friends and I had a ball! At first, it was a struggle but Wes was kind enough to coach us through the process. In no time, we were able to land a few. It's also a good workout. Definitely will be back! Do not hesitate. Do not be concerned. Do not be sad one you've realized how much fun this is. Go to American Axes in Atlanta and have-a-blast. I went there with my 14 year old daughter and we had oh so much fun throwing axes. The staff there could not have been more friendly or helpful. While we we more of the family-oriented guests, I bet being there with a bunch of adults would have been NUTS! There were a couple of after work peeps who showed up and they were having the times of their lives. I have to look to see if there's a franchise up in Maryland because I'd go there in a heartbeat. Seriously, don't let the sound of the idea of throwing axes keep you from going. It's good clean fun and something you'll come back to do again and again. read more

We had an amazing time for our team building event at 'The Works' location. We learned how to throw axes & knives and then had some friendly competition with games. It was so much fun and was the best team outing ever - and was a great stress reliever too!! I will definitely be coming back in addition to having their mobile unit come to on-site events. Located in between fox brothers and dr scofllaw, is American Axes atlanta location where you can practice your axe throwing skills! I went with a group of girls and it was so much fun we each paid about $28 each. Free parking is all around at the Works! The less people who you go with the more practice you can get so keep that in mind, i felt like three girls was a good group to do! Its hard at first but Marley was such a great teacher that we all had not only so much fun but also all got it in the wall! Thank you Marley for your great instructions! I've been here twice and it was soooooo much fun both times! I'm not an athletic person (AT ALL!) but even I have hit the bullseye a few times! If I can do it, you can do it! One thing that surprised me about throwing axes is it's a great stress reliever as well! I only rent a bay for one hour if it's just two of us taking turns with the axes. Any longer than that would be too long for me. One hour is just enough time for two people. The staff here is friendly and fun to work with as well. read more

It was a great spot to go for a date or with a small group of friends. Easy to book online, but parking Saturday night was crazy. However, they were very accommodating and allowed us to stay a bit over our reservation time to make up for losing it with parking. The coach was awesome and super helpful. Never thought I would have so much fun throwing an axe! Our trainer, Carl, was the best and gave us expert advice. By the end of our hour, my partner and I were throwing like pros (well, better than amateurs). She gave us great instructions on how to throw, cheered us on and offered suggestions and encouragement along the way and kept the fun going the whole time all while ensuring we had everything we need. If you're going to have two lanes than then the private room is a steal and is totally worth it! Loved having the private space away from the crowd on a Saturday night. So much fun!!! We came in an hour before closing. Dan (owner? Maybe?) gave us each a lane as they only had another couple in the establishment. This was a Thursday evening. Dan gave us a crash course in axe throwing. He brought out different axes for us to try and coached us along. Never once did he mention closing time. All the while playing fun music. We will definitely be back. Who knew axe throwing could be so much fun! Scofflaw will delivery refreshing adult beverages and there are plenty of eateries around. Perfect for a date night. read more

I went there with the Atlanta Hawks organization. I didn't know what to expect but was so glad that I went in to check it out. All safety was in place (my main concern was where the axes would be flying-hahaha). Friendly and patient staff teaching me how to toss the axe. It's not as easy as it looks, but I managed to hit inside the circle after several attempts with coaching from the staff. It's a fun place for individuals or corporate events. I will definitely recommend friends and colleagues to try their axe-throwing skills at American Axes. PS greatly place for refreshment as well read more

Conveniently located in The Works, and loved that you could order food and drinks from other places in The Works and bring in to enjoy while you throw axes. This place is so much fun, and the atmosphere is great! The staff makes this place so much more enjoyable! They gave us safety instructions and tips on how to throw the ax. It took me a while to find a mobile play lounge that had all the stuff i wanted in a package and was local. Topplin' Tots wasn't local but I did pay a travel fee which was so worth it! I'm so glad we went with them as the set up and take down was so easy, i wasn't involved in any way lol. Interaction with the owner was seamless and pain-free from first interaction to take down which was completed without our involvement. We just left the gate open for access and closed when we realized they left. As someone who loves to be in control of everything, that says a lot! I was busy doing the most minute last stuff and wasn't even home for most of the party but i was able to witness the kiddies and my daughter enjoy the play lounge. The ballpit was a HUGE hit! If you ever book them(which i highly recommend if you can't tell already), definitely get a package with the ball pit or add on as they have that option! FYI: The pictures are of package B/2.

Attended a one year olds birthday party and I must say that I was very fabulous. As I make my way…read morethrough the clubhouse, I see what looks similar to another well known play arena for toddlers. I was immediately floored and impressed at the setup and the ability to have said items traveled. Everything was clean and perfect for little babies to older toddlers. I let my 8.5 month old daughter play in the ball pit and ride (sit on) what was similar to a horse. She loved it. So did it. Very likely I'll rent this for her 1st bday.
