Such a great experience. Went in for a date day with another couple and we had the best time. We paid for an hour of time and the person who works there was very thorough with the instructions. He had some great jokes and even provided some commentary while we were throwing. It was very fun and half way through, you have the option to throw some other sharp objects as long as you followed the rules. They provide you with a couple of different games that you can play so you're not just throwing the axes aimlessly.

First time axe throwing and it was so much fun! We had a really good time, the guy who helped us gave us pointers. He was amazing! When you need to blow off some steam go here. The have other games as well and the offer snacks for purchase. We'll be going back!

This place is so much fun. I was walking home from an eye appointment and passed by and had been meaning to check it out. I stopped in and the cool guy working showed me how everything works before I did anything. It's a great way to destress and have fun. I'll definitely be back with more people. :)

Such a great time. First time axe throwing and absolutely loved it! Luke gave great directions on the throw at various axe sizes. Also loved the music choices. A great variation from the normal bar/ club scene. Great date place.

Had a Awesome Time Tonight at Throw in Inman Park! Many Thanks to our Captain, Garrett, who was so awesome! He really taught us how to throw properly and gave us advice along the way. I'd recommend making a reservation online to book your spot! We will definitely be back to sharpen our skills!!

I came here with my siblings-in-law for a fun hang out time planned by the matriarch of the family. There were 8 of us, and we had a good (and safe) time! I also kicked butt at axe-throwing, and I'm pretty sure I've found my calling. The place is located in one of the walk-up-the-stairs suites in a random building Downtown. Getting to Lucky Axe was unexpected, but the sign showed us the way. The place also has an escape room that wasn't being used while we were there. The axe-throwing room is broken up into two sections. One section is a seating area with fold up chairs and tables + a cash register and some vending machine snacks and a bathroom for guests. The second section is the axe throwing area and is separated with chain link fencing from the rest of the area for safety. The axe throwing area is divided into 4 lanes, which can host 2 groups. (We were the only group there, but the staff limited us to just 2 lanes in case a walk-in group or last minute group came in.) Regardless of where you are in the suite, it will be loud (because of the axes), so plan ahead if you're sensitive to loud, sudden sounds. I really appreciated the safety rules and guidance from the Lucky Axe teammates. We got an orientation with very strict rules (understandably), waivers, and advice for how to throw. Then, we were given a lot of time for everyone to practice. After practicing, the staff told us about a few team games we could do like Tic Tac Toe and HORSE. Those were a lot of fun, and after a while, we switched up our teams to better distribute the emerging skilled players. Notes for improvement for Lucky Axe : * When new center boards were added to the throwing targets, they were never good at allowing the axes to stick, and they gave the throwers a disadvantage. I'd recommend giving each new board some good wacks to make it softer and better for sticking before adding it to the board. * One of the staff members continually provided feedback on how to better throw an axe to 2-3 of my group friends. My friends were not interested in skill, they just wanted to have fun, so the staff member irritated them. Advice for guests - speak up for yourself if you'd like to be left alone. * We had staff changes happen twice, so we went through 3 staff "caretakers" during our 1-hour session. I'm sure this isn't usual, and it didn't bother us, but it was noticeable. * We were told at the beginning that we could choose the songs we wanted to listen to by writing them on a piece of paper. The first few songs were what we asked for, but when the staff change happened, our requests got lost in the queue. No big, but noticeable. --- Being one of the winning axe throwers helped me have a really good time, even when I was expecting this odd family event to be a wash. It's definitely something different!

It was our first time Ax throwing. We had a great time and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely will back!!

I'm actually pretty good at it! Make a reservation on line, come on in at your time, they will give you a tutorial, and then some practice time. It is all in the wrist... and then start your games. It is like a big game of darts. I have yet to get beat where I have not let someone win. (Date, my sons, and so on) The prices are not cheap but it is a lot of fun! They have wine, beer, soda, chips and light food... so don't come hungry... eat before you get here. It is Well worth the experience and if you're like me... you'll come back for more.

The venue is spartan, but nice enough, and the staff are friendly and helpful! We truly enjoyed ourselves for our first time axe throwing. I want to mention that while we had made a reservation for six, we were unable to bring 2 of our people with us. I did not ask for a refund on the other two people. I suppose I could have. However, as this was a birthday event, and I wanted things to go smoothly and easily, I didn't bother. Also, the reservation that I made was for a single lane with the 2 axe throwing targets. When we arrived, there wasn't anyone else there. I'm not sure if it was just because there was no one there, or if they were just being nice in general, but they allowed us to use 2 lanes with 4 axe throwing targets and that made it even more fun! They brought out popcorn for everyone and had a fridge-bar with some canned drinks and snacks. I really didn't take any pictures, but I definitely intend to come back. So, next time; I promise. I did take a video of my sister and her friend losing the Jenga game! Enjoy!
