Vibes are great here and there's so much to do. Bowling, games, food, drinks. The whole shabang. Went on a Saturday with a friend and honestly had a fantastic time. We ordered the pizza and fries. Classic bowling alley food. Good overall, not anything spectacular food wise, but with everything else going on it honestly doesn't even matter. Service was great too. We had a super sweet server who made the experience even better. Cost wise you'll definitely spend some money, but it feels worth it for the experience. Easy 5/5 for me. A+++++++ Came for a company Holiday party and From the time I arrived at valet, I was greeted and treated like a special guest. I walked in and was met by the receptionist who told me everything I needed to do to bowl and to meet my party. We were served so much food, for the entire party, we didn't have to ask because the servers were so attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. My favorite was the chicken Sliders. Everything was hot, fresh and savory! I tried the Riesling and it was amazing! Recently booked The Painted Pin for a staff wrap party. We rented several lanes for 50 an hr. That came with shoes for 6 per lane. If you don't have socks, they do sell them for a small fee. While here I ordered the turkey club. It was good but, the bread was a bit salty. I sipped on the champagne cocktail. So deelish! Derrick our bartender was super! He waited on all 23 of us and didn't miss a beat. This place also has several other games such as skeeball, basketball and bocce ball. I'd record this spot for groups or a date. 2 words: Boujee. Bowling. I have been to the Painted Pin a couple times now and it's always been a really enjoyable experience. But, like mentioned above, this is certainly a BOUJEE bowling experience. This ain't no basic public bowling alley, so expect the prices to reflect that. This being said, it's just about the cleanest bowling alley I have ever been to as well. It's kind of got a speakeasy feel to it, with low lighting and the eclectic decor. It's also not obvious from the outside what the place is. The first time I ever came and we started walking down a dark alley I was about to turn around LOL, but then you get inside and understand. They charge you hourly for the bowling, but there are other spots of free entertainment once you get done or if you're waiting for a lane. They have ping pong, skii ball, basketball, darts and more. Trying some of these out along with the bowling really brings out your inner kid and it's fantastic. Speaking of kids, it's a family experience here up until 5pm. After that, it's 21+ only and they card you at the door before you can even get in so there's no getting away with it. There's also a full menu of food, so you can bowl and get a complete meal if you're so wanting. One thing I'd come back solely for are the moscow mule slushies. Yep, that's right- a slushie version of a moscow mule. I can't even explain how good it is, you just have to try it to understand. If you bowl here, you'll notice there's a random red pin interspersed with the other pins in the lane. If the red pin is the first pin in the triangle and you get a strike, you get a free miller lite. I wish you could get a different drink free but for some reason that's the only option. While waiting for the text reminder, we got to play some of their other free games that I do not know the names of. The space was pretty large with about 15 lanes available and a dining space for about 10 good size booths. Food can be ordered at the bar and they bring it to you wherever you decide to sit. The hummus plate game with some stiff pita and plenty of veggies. I liked the amount of fresh garlic used in the hummus and the staff were nice too. We did get an hour of play time which was enough for two rounds for two people since we were chatting in between. Overall, it was a good experience with lively and not too loud music. There's a full bar that I'd love to take advantage of the next time I come back as well as trying other items from their menu. Would come again :). read more

I didn't catch the prices, and it was a lot nicer than the typical bowling alley fare, but (and this is just personal preference), it was too "fancy" for me. Just serve me a decent hot dog, burger, or slice of pizza and I am happy. I don't want hummus or a charcuterie board. That's just me, which is why I'm not knocking stars off for it. The bathroom is WEIRD to the point of being CREEPY... there is no wall between the men's and women's rooms where the sinks are, so you can see people in the other bathroom washing their hands. The Painted Pin, this is my vibe. I love this bowling alley, conveniently located in Buckhead off Miami Circle. Anytime, my friends want to get together and bowl, this is our go-to! We always start at the bar by grabbing cocktails. I ordered the Cadillac Margarita and it was delicious. Others in the group ordered a Lemon drop sugar rim, Spicy Margarita salt rim & old fashioned prepared with Makers Bourbon. The Painted Pin, bartender's were friendly & extremely helpful. After everyone arrived, we grab some appetizers, cheese pizza, oysters sandwiches along with wings & fries. There were no food complaints! We then filled out our Order-Slip for shoe sizes to bowl then proceeded to start bowling. Again, effortless process. After three hours of bowling, cocktails & yummy bar food our night was satisfied. Waiter came over, we then closed our tab, everyone left with happy faces. I suggest Valet parking at The Painted Pin since street parking may not be safe. Our Valet attendant was superb. He walks with a limp however excellent service. The Painted Pin has cute bathrooms for selfies. The Painted Pin has a live music band performing on Friday's, it can get really loud. I give The Painted Pin 10/10!! I believe the cost for two games, group of ten people, under $200 without food & cocktails. What a hidden gem! I live in the area and never knew The Painted Pin was right next door. This is a boutique bowling alley that also offers games like bocce, Ping-Pong, and Skee-Ball. There's also alcohol, a food bar, and a live band. It's a great place to hang out with friends. I personally think the crowd here is slightly more mature compared to the sister bowling alley - The Painted Duck - in West Midtown, which is more spacious and a lot more crowded. Haven't been to this place in years and went this evening for a work related event. Parking is available on the street and they valet (idk the price). Overall the vibe is just okay. It's the company that makes it. If I'm not mistaken, it was $50/lane for up to 60 people. The food is terrible so be sure to eat before you go. I tried the Buckhead Becky and it tasted like a Becky lol. I event tried a slice of another pizza and it too was terrible. Save your money and spare your feelings. Fun spot to hang out with a group of friends (or colleagues, in my case). It's a upscale bowling alley with cocktails and food and other games. I came on a Thursday evening as part of a company team building event. We booked out a couple lanes and had a blast. The door is a bit hard to find, as the sign is a bit small. Look for a P&P sign around where the Google Maps location is. Most of their cocktails are very affordable and range from $10-$12. I tried a couple of their drinks, including the Pin's Cup, Bee's Knees, and a classic margarita, and everything was good. The Bee's Knees was probably my favorite. We also ordered a bunch of snacks to share, including tacos, hummus and pita, fries, chips and salsa, etc., and everything was pretty good. I'm not a huge bowler, so I appreciated that they have other games such as bocce ball, shuffleboard, skeetball, giant jenga, etc. After one round of bowling, I wandered around the rest of the space and enjoyed some of the other games. read more

I hadn't been to The Painted Pin in a while - maybe 3-4 years. But it came to mind as an option to meet a couple of girlfriends for drinks, snacks and an activity. We met a little before 8pm on a Friday night and put our name on the list for a lane. While we waited, we were lucky enough to get seats at one of the low tables. Service at our low table never happened, but we saw servers at others. They were very short-staffed for a busy Friday night. We ordered at the bar, and 5 stars for the quickness of the bar staff. I went to the bar twice and was addressed in a reasonable amount of time. As for the drinks, I'm not a fan of measured alcohol. Free pour or leave me be! The mixed drinks I had were mostly fruit juice but they were significantly cheaper than my straight whiskey drinks -$8 vs $12. The food is still good. One of us ordered the waffle corn dogs and she liked them. She didn't share any but they smelled sooo good. I ordered the pimento cheese sliders and I thought they'd be warm but they were cold. They were good but would have tasted better warmed up a bit. We didn't get a lane until 10pm. Yep, we had a 2 hour wait. Luckily we had a lot to chat about and we enjoyed the live band. (The band played a lot of classic R&B and rock songs. They were a good band but a little too heavy on the slow jams.) We enjoyed our lane but noticed that the sofa we sat on was falling apart, i.e. the fabric at the end cap was completely worn away. Like a lot of places, time can turn you shabby if you don't keep it up. For the Covid-minded: It was packed and only the staff wore masks the entire time. I'm vaxxed and boosted plus I drank straight whisky so I felt okay about it. But I do wish they had limited the number of people allowed inside. There were too many of us there. I parked on the street but there is still valet available ($3) and nearby lot parking ($5). I gave The Painted Pin 2 stars because of the crowd, the shabbiness and the over-priced drinks. The Painted Pin is an upscale bowling alley....just think for the grown & sexy. After a certain time, it goes to 21 & up, and they do check ID's at the door. The building is located in Miami Circle, but it is pretty tucked away. There aren't huge signs pointing to it, so you can easily miss it if you're not careful. Parking is a nightmare, and you won't find any parking really in front of the place. So valet it is. The good news is that valet is extremely affordable ($3 plus gratuity), especially when compared to other places in ATL. The HUGE door definitely makes for grand decor. Upon entering, you're met with a live band and lots of activity. There is bowling as well as other games to play. Bowling is on a first come,first serve basis & wait times are LONG! It was a 3-hour wait just to bowl. Bowling is $60 per hour/lane on fri-Sun and $50 per hour Mon-Thurs. shoes are $5, and each lane can hold a maximum of 6. So what to do while you wait? Well, there's plenty. You can head over to the bar to order food and drinks. Bar service is SLOW. It was very hard to order anything despite having 4 people working the bar. We ordered the Pepperoni pizza, which was ready in about 10 minutes. It was pretty good, and enough for 2 people with the total cost being $16. Drinks are small. Hurricane is tasty with Jamaican rum, passion fruit, and lemon. It was $10 but Again, very small. You can also play jenga, skee ball, basketball, or boccee. The basketball hoops are not electronic, so there is no timer and no way for it to keep score. There's all ping pong and darts! It was enough to do in the 3-hour wait. The band was decent. Good entertainment. I loved this place, and I would totally go back. I just wish service was better! read more

Took my daughter here for a birthday outing and left a little disappointed. The food was good and the wait staff was attentive. However, we only got to bowl 5 frames before the lane malfunctioned. We informed the staff and they responded pretty quickly. They worked on the lane for between 30 and 45 minutes before shutting it down completely. No one came to apologize or offer to move us to another lane. Then when the bill came (with no further bowling) they billed us for the full hour. I asked them to remove it from the bill and they decided that taking half off was plenty. We decided not to taint the birthday by going Karen over 30 bucks, but it's a shame that the customer service seems to require you to make a scene in order to be treated correctly. read more

We came around 9PM (after 5PM it is only 21+) with a reservation and were seated at our lanes after a short wait. This location is in Brookhaven/buckhead. This was my first time attending here with My job for an outing after 4 months of Quarantine. However when I pulled up They had valet service to the back or 3 Regular parking in front and two handicapped Spaces. When I walked to the door it looked Like medieval times lol. But upon walking in, someone greets you to take your temperature and tell you that your good. All on the floor they tell you what direction to walk in and to stay 6ft apart. They have a digital menu for to view by taking a picture with your camera to pull it up which was cool. Inside is very nice and bougie LoL They had a few balls out you would use. We got there right when they opened on a Saturday and still had to wait about an hour for a lane, I guess they are understaffed, but it wasn't a big deal since there are games around to entertain you, and a bar. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at The Painted Pin and am so glad we did. From the first time I inquired into the reservation through to our check out process after the party, we had a 5 star experience. William made the reservation process really easy, communicated the details with full clarity, and was so supportive with reminder emails on the logistics. It was nice to show up at The Painted Pin with our shoes ready to go and our names on the lanes. The serving team was spectacular. Professional, fun, attentive, and kind. Quentin was our main server, and he was supported by two other people (unfortunately I don't recall their names). I love that team environment. Our guests highly complemented all of the food and drink. In particular, the hummus (nice lemon flavor!) and tacos were the highlight. After we finished bowling we enjoyed the other games available at the venue and the band! Dancing happened! Cute upscale bowling with live band. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday. They don't do reservations so it's first come first serve. Our party had to wait about 1.5hr-2hrs for our lane to become available. There are games to play along with bar and general seating throughout which is also first come, first served. We were able to find seating and order food and drinks while waiting. I ordered the fries and the spinach and mushroom pizza that's cooked in an open wood fire stove. My pizza was however overly charred at the bottom and not very enjoyable so i had to have them to remake it. The drink was pretty decent i tried the apple rose. Also the way they do tabs here is so unorganized they collect your card in the beginning which is fine however we literally had to hunt down our server to get our receipts prior to leaving to ensure everything was added to our bill correctly. It was a decent experience because we enjoyed the bowling however i don't think I'll be back anytime soon at least on the weekends as it's not worth the wait. read more

This is beyond your average bowling alley. Filled with so many different games (jenga, table tennis, basketball, skeeball and more) which are all free to play while you wait for a lane to open up. Despite the long waiting time on the weekends, the wait time doesn't feel long when you can be entertained by all the games above and their live music which is FANTASTIC. Food I've probably had everything on their menu over the number of times I've been and have never been disappointed. Their brick oven pizzas are perfectly baked, the prosciutto and pineapple toppings are my favorite. From their appetizers, I would recommend the loaded fries and Mexican corn. Their tacos come fully loaded so every bite is oozing with flavor. Drinks All their cocktails are worth trying. They're classic and house cocktails are mixed to perfection with some of our favorites being the pin's cup, and Paloma. This place is amazing! First of all the staff is very accommodating. Any request we made they were sure to make it happen. We started out bowling and proceeded to work our way through out the entire facility playing ping-pong basketball shuffle board and finished by eating an amazing pepperoni pizza. The atmosphere is upscale very high-quality Decor and amenities. The restrooms are really dope. The women's restroom in the men's restroom have facing sinks where there would normally be a mirror you actually see in the women's restroom and I thought I was in the wrong place.
