My boyfriend went to receive services in April of 2025. I dropped him off that evening, he was sick on opiates. I emailed a director 24 hours in, worried because it wasnt like him to not call. I am.his emergency contact. Found out at hour 27 they took him to the valley hospital he was near zero lung function and 70percent O2. They never called me to tell me. They also treated him poorly in the room where he was throwing up and in and out of consciousness. The yelled at him and told him to get his shit together. He almost died and i had zero warning or phone calls..they tolk him to hospital dropped him there and forgot about him. No call to emergency contact , no care. Prior to this, he had been here and his phone and all belongings were given to another.man with the same last name, and he came out without all his possessions. They never paid for it or cared. My son was so exited to get control over his life. The next day, he was rushed to ER because of an illness. Then the facilty through him out on the street without a phone, food, money. He called me for help, as he had so much anxiety of dying. I asked for him to call me right back after I called the facility. They refused to answer the phone, or return messages. i would give it zero stars if it was an option. the staff lied to me on many occassions and even after completing the program im still dealing with clerical errors on their part. there have been at least two covid outbreaks at their womens facility in the last twelve months that incoming clients were not told about before they arrived. it runs like a hot mess on most days and if you have another option i recommend you take it. their website claims to have a detox program. they don't. my roommate and i took care of a new gal throwing up and having diarrhea as staff seemed to not want to be bothered by it. read more

Please for the love of god send in a secret client to the port Angeles center.....your going to be shocked what you find going on there From the ignorance ,the hypocrisy,and inconsistency that goes on there its amazing that you have not received legal paper work yet. The care team staff is horrid. Medication is ignored. A care team member placed a client on his shoulders so she could get on the roof to retrieve a batmiten birdie. This seemed extremely dangerous . The rule I was discharged for, communication with opposite sex ,although no words exchanged,nor any notes passed was immediately addressed while female clients where allowed to pass football's back and forth with male client,speek and sit with male client at off site N.A. dinner,gain phone numbers and do exactly what both myself and the fellow discharged client had done. We where wrong and broke a cardinal rule...are the others not as well breaking said rule? Cursing is massive and directed at clients. Although we are told by care team members they are only joking ,this does not erase what they say and language we are not allowed to speek should not be said to us nor around us and certainly never directed at us. I was told by care team to " shut the F up" and " I don't F ing " care not only by care team but told " I don't F ing care " by the clinical director himself. Your center is not safe as well nor are safety issues resolved. My own parents have been treated with disrespect and disregard as to packages that where sent before my discharge and have yet to be returned by your facility back to Amazon . its illegal to open mail with a discharged clients name on it and the center would neither agree to send it back to my parents nor back to me where I currently reside and did not simply give it back to the delivery man upon delivery . You very much need to look into this facility as you have an amazing program that can reach addicts and teach them the skills to move forward towards recovery. Your professional staff at the port angels clinic is 100 decent on tract with recovery process....you may want to loose the director ( Sean) as he is not a person that is anywhere near approachable nor has any regard for recovering addicts. The 2.5 weeks I was able to learn I did just that. Acceptance was the main lesson. I was accepted into clean and sober just the day before I was released early. I accept what I've done Compleatly. The lying and the rational behind my early discharge can't happen again. The next person that this happens to may not be as fortunate as me, they may not make it without using. read more

This treatment center likes to lose or miss place your belongings, and instead of just explaining what happened, i was told it was getting weighed and would be shipped but the staff played games and never returned any calls with the price, never asked for a address and i talked to someone new every day for 2 weeks and they all said the same thing, let me get your phone number and i will check on it and give you a call back. ABHS is literally the WORST FUCKING TREATMENT CENTER in the state! AHBHS CHEHALIS is a close 2nd.. I was just there from Aug 1st to Aug 22nd with doc paying for it. Not only did they make me go against my own doctors orders on how to take my suboxone but continued to make me miss appointments and barley got me to my housing appointment because there claiming "being under staffed" the Final thing that made me call my CCO and ask to switch treatment centers is because my room was INFESTED WITH BED BUGS I had gotten bitten three times and reported it but the SOD on duty told me to be quiet about this and to just put all my bedding in a plastic bag and they would get new ones GREAT IDEA?? NOT really when you refuse to move me rooms until the next night when we find they had spread even more even after them closing that room they said they were closing the entire H hall but yet 3 days later I see them moving more and more people in the INFECTED HALL INTO INFECTED ROOMS! Hell even once I moved a couple days later confirmed bedbugs were at my next door neighbors in the other hallway they moved me to. This place needs top be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIANTLY!! read more

This place should be shut down. I am dumbfounded as to how it is still up and running with being constantly understaffed, clients are using drugs and this is a treatment facility for drug/alcohol addiction, clients are also sneaking cell phones in and/or staff is giving them access to cell phones and Internet. I've known of 3 clients who were on facebook posting, commenting and using messenger during their entire stay here. Several others have had their medication come up missing & never got them back, nor did they ever get any answers because the manager John Taylor does not return calls if they have anything to do with complaints/concerns/conflict. The manager/director also employs his own family members, the daughter is extremely rude & works the front desk mostly. The favoritism around there is disgusting & is likely the very reason for many clients who take off & leave the program before they graduate. read more
