In TINY print, the screen said our original bill was $106 and the total was $140 and asked if we wanted to add +3% +7% or NO TIP. I asked the lady why we were being forced to tip $34 on a $106 tab. She couldn't give me answer. "I'm not sure how that thing works" is all she could tell me. I'm a former bartender and my wife is a current bartender for many years and we often get the message from our credit card company "did you mean to leave a 50% tip?" Because we love leaving a good tip. I would have done the same here but the shady practice of auto gratuity of 30% for a party of 2 and then also charging 3% more for paying with a credit card is insane.
