I was going to attempt ordering a shuffleboard online, but he was able to match the price to the one I loved. It was a great experience and a quick delivery. I had the room all setup within a week. Bruce was supposed to come do the setup on my Gold Crown III. Instead he sent two people who didn't know what they were doing. They showed up with a pair of needle nosed pliers and a flat head screwdriver at 5pm on a Saturday. One guy quit right in the middle of the setup after getting into an argument with the other guy. I had to finish putting the skirts on cause they didn't know how too (one of the most common professional tables in the world). My table rolls off because the seams between the slate were not leveled properly and they didn't get all the wax off of the slate. They also swapped my rails around and stripped the allen bolts that hold the pockets in place so now the balls just fall onto the floor. Bruce said he was going to come out and fix it but it's now been 6 months. So if you don't care if the balls roll straight or will run down the rail or if your ball return works then this is the company you should call. They also charged me $450 and I supplied my own Simonis cloth. Smh, hurts my heart cause I heard Bruce was "the man". Call me if you want to make it right, I'm sure you remember. UPDATE: Bruce did call me within an hour of posting this review, but it was only to make excuses for the team he had working for him and to tell me why I was wrong to post this review. We needed to move our pool table so we could get new carpet put down. What we wanted was for the slate to be removed and new felt to be put on the table. Classic charged $597.00 to remove the slate and put new felt on the table. Classic Home Billiards' employee took the measurements. On the day that the team showed up I get a call from Classic asking me if I knew what size my table was I told him that I gave the measurements to the lady. He proceeded to tell me that I had made a mistake. I asked about the measurements that he had and they were the same for a 4x8 table the guys setting up the table had felt for a smaller table. He was upset that his guys had to come back to the store to get the correct felt. In addition to the rude behavior the set up guys did a less than professional job installing the new felt. The bumpers were uneven and not flush with the rails. When I pointed this out to them they said that the table was old and that was the best they could do. So please don't use these folks they are not professionals and will ruin the enjoyment you should expect from a professional job. I will get another company to correct their shoddy work. read more

I was interested in buying a used table and knew nothing about how moving a pool table worked so I reached out to a friend and her husband who play on a league. They recommended Bruce at Classic Home Billiards. Another friend also recommended another professional. I spoke to the other professional and he seemed kinda blah about doing the job which turned me off like the work I was asking was more work then he wanted to put in. Bruce returned my call and gave me a quote and explained more in detail of what all goes into moving a pool table. I found one and sent him a picture because all I knew was if it was a Gandy or a Brunswick etc. He could tell by the picture roughly how old the table was and if it was a decent table. Keep in mind that I knew nothing about if a rail was good or if cloth could be reused and Bruce quoted me for everything so I knew what I was walking into ahead of time. Bruce also ordered new Simonis cloth for me in case the cloth needed to be replaced but was not going to hold me to the cost unless I used it. Long story short I found a table, scheduled the dissemble and reassemble and it went smoothly. I was able to watch as they reassembled the table including leveling, felt and new rails. Bruce and his helper Armani were professional, courteous, fair and just great to work with. When I started to look for a table all I knew was what I wanted in a pool table. Bruce educated me and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. read more

I wanted them to assemble new & expensive pool table by them on schedule day two young guys showed up and seems lost after opening boxes. they started assembly and in the middle of it advised me some parts missing and can't assemble which is fair enough and left. I ordered missing parts and rescheduled them.On new date both show up again with new invoice reading trip charges which i was not aware of it since i wanted to get it over with it they started where they left and had hard time balancing table and kept screwing and unscrewing same screw so many times that one gave up grip due to hole became wider. after trying to seal this whole with some wood packing but unable to tight screw. I kept watching and ultimately advised them to use longer or wider screw which they did and worked.In short it was scary feeling to see an expensive pool table getting assembled by non professionals. Later my card was charged more than invoice which after some hassle they adjusted. Better luck if you want to hire them. read more

Excellent Service! They are professional, friendly, knowledgable, and in our case, over delivered on our expectations of customer service. Our 7' pool table (that needed to function as an 8' dining table for a few occasions throughout the year) was delivered on time, installed, and ready to use for Thanksgiving with interlocking tabletop leaves. After the pool table was set up, Bruce gave me a lesson that significantly improved my game - I went from winning 25% of the time playing against my husband, to easily winning 50% of the time. And, because the space we had the pool table set up in has a few columns, Bruce included a couple of shorter pool cues to use in tight spaces.
