There were already people waiting, but the process was organized, and they called my name quickly. I hadn't even warmed my seat, yet when they called me in. The phlebotomist, Patricia, welcomed me with a smile and a great attitude that immediately put me at ease. She drew two vials of blood smoothly and professionally, and I was done in minutes ~ fast and easy from start to finish . Results took a few days to appear online, which is expected. You can do a pre-check-in then just scan the QR code when you are at the place. I went early before my appointment, check in then I was called in no time. I was impressed. The Phlebotomist was friendly and made me comfortable, and the first draw was smooth. Then here comes the catch - she didn't take enough vials for a certain color, so she has to stick me again. Waaa. I told her I didn't want to be probed in the same arm. My right arm isn't good as the left; she called another Phlebotomist to help her. At first no blood came out, so they have to adjust the needle. By looking at it, it makes you not to be probed anymore. It doesn't hurt though. And they were able to get what they needed. This is a good place for a phlebotomist to do their externship. They will enhance their skills. Limited parking. Decent gender-neutral public facility.

It's astounding that in the half hour that I was there she managed to be rude to 3 or 4 people. I also didn't bleed down my arm after which is what normally happens. In fact there wasn't even anything on the cotton under the band aid. I am not squeamish at all but being a bleeder is not fun. I was pleasantly surprised. It's not like it was dirty there just clutter. Other than that I would say it's worth the extra savings on draws you need since most labs charge up the @ss for most tests these days for cash patients.

My biggest complaint is the parking. The building charges $2 every 15 minutes, with a maximum of $20 per day, which I think is excessive. I normally park on the street, but because I was short on time, I decided to park in the building. I was there for less than an hour and ended up paying $8. Unbelievable! It was a good reminder to leave earlier next time so I can avoid paying for parking. The highlight of my visit was the technician who drew my blood. Her name is Susan (she's asian), and she's a floater. My veins are very difficult to find, but she located one on the first try, and the blood draw was completely painless. I wish I could request an appointment with her every time I need lab work done. She was definitely the best part of my visit.

Got there, there were about 7 people in the waiting area. On the tv, there was a sidebar of transparency regarding the order of patients, appt times, and standby patients. If you weren't able to check in via the link sent, there were two kiosks in the corner for easy check in. I was seen within 15 mins. Donna Mae (my phlebotomist) was polite, gentle, and expeditious. I was done in less than 5 mins, and I had 5 vials! I found street parking off Killion, which was super easy.

There was plenty of it, which is rare compared to other Labcorp locations where parking is usually paid and a hassle. The office is small and was pretty full when I arrived, but even with an appointment, I was called back within just a few minutes. Bernice was handling everything during my visit, and she was amazing. The waiting room had several patients asking questions and feeling impatient, but she stayed calm, organized, and efficient the entire time while keeping things moving. She mentioned it's usually a two-person team, but they were short on supplies that day, so she was holding things down on her own, which made it even more impressive. When it was my turn, she was professional and kind. I usually have very difficult veins and often get poked multiple times, but she got it on the first try. Overall, top-tier service. I would definitely recommend this location. Just be patient if it's busy - they're working hard and doing their best.

I had to stop by Pacific Medical Services twice in one week for blood tests. I arrived at the office without an appointment and there was no one waiting. The office is very small with just a few chairs, and a small tea/coffee station. I was taken in immediately. Very often, my veins are difficult to work with. During the draw, the phlebotomist was Jose. He was able to get the draw on the first try and I did not have type of bruising or issues afterward. I had to return a couple of days later for a test that must be done early in morning. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me and it was standing room only. There was only one person working and she was with a patient in the back, so it took some time to check in. After checking in, another employee arrived and those in the waiting room were helped. The phlebotomist that I had for the second test was Joanna, aka JoJo. She was very personable and was able to get the draw on the first try. I enjoyed speaking with her and she made the appointment comfortable. I had no issues with bruising after the test. The office is on the second floor of a medical building. The building has paid parking, but I always park on the street. There is metered parking and free street parking available within easy walking distance of the building.
