Randomly stopped by this shop to ask about getting an oil change. Thankfully, they were able to work on my car right away. AJ was really fast, and I was very pleasantly surprised and grateful when he even cleaned my windshield and mirrors for me! The price was very fair, and AJ was very friendly and kind. AJ was super personable and friendly. We talked about our kids. He showed me some video of his little boy. Great guy! I was with him while changing the oil, he got a call, and he asked his worker to tighten the oil pan screw. His worker proceeded to put the cover back on. I asked him if he was going to tighten the bolt first before putting the cover on. I think he has a language barrier. He called AJ back, and AJ tightened the oil pan screw with a ratchet. If I hadn't been there to see it who knows if I would be driving around with a loose bolt possibly leaking oil? Next time I think I will change it myself.  5 Star for AJ but his workers leave something to be desired. read more

This establishment does not stand by their work which is subpar to begin with. On Oct 19th we took our truck up to have the coolant bypass heater control valve replaced which cost us $300. Now 2 months later on Dec 23rd we get check engine light for the exact same thing. Take it back to this place expecting he would stand by his workand not charge to replace with new part since the one from Oct was apparently bad so he puts another new one in but then still charges us another $300 so we've now had to pay twice for the same repair. Do not go here. He will rip you off. Doesn't really seem to know what he's doing. Will never go here again. read more

AJ is awesome. I spoke with him over the phone to get a quote to change my oil (synthetic, European SUV). He gave a me a price and told me to come in when I could. He quickly got to me and determined her didn't have the oil filter but got one quickly and changed my oil in time for me to make and appointment. Service was great! Again was there for an oil change. Same friendly, fast service as usual besides an excellent price. Also they checked everything, pumped air to the tires and vacuum cleaned inside the car. Amazed by the quality of their work. For sure it is a hidden gem at San Lorenzo. From now on I'll take my car for repairs also to AFL and keep you posted. AJ is a great guy. He does his best to take care of his customers. He won't try to make you fix anything that does need to be fixed. I always feel great leaving this place, because I know AJ is always looking out for me. He even stayed late one day to take care of me, and I showed up 10 min before he closed. This is my first time going here and definitely won't be my last for quick oil changes. I brought my Civic in for a very much needed oil change, had my own filter and my own oil, brought it in, 15 minutes later it was done and ready to go. Service was fast and nice. I found AJ in 2015 when I was jobless, broke and wanted to try other alternatives than the expensive brand dealership service. A friend of mine pointed me towards his shop due to good services he provided for him. He is not the guy who will recommend something that you don't need nor would upsell you more than what is necessary. When I first met him I was a little out of cash and explained my dilemma of needing to have my car fixed for safety reasons but at the same time not having enough money for a fix. He was very accommodating and even gave me his shop's account discount for the parts I needed just so that I can have my problem solved. His quality of service is topnotch, better than most. When I go to long travels, I usually get my older vehicles conditioned by him. Last year, I drove my older Sienna he services routinely from the Bay Area to Grand Canyon with no issues, running like a champ. I have also referred friends who had problems that even the dealership could not fix properly while they just ended being charged exorbitantly. He was able to fix those too, with reasonable prices. Very rare that I give a very good review on yelp but this guy is great and deserves it. If anything this review is long overdue as I waited a while just to be very sure with his quality of work and I am pleased to give him 5 stars. Now that I am no longer broke, I will still gladly give him my business as I am getting excellent service with reasonable prices. I highly recommend AJ's work. Try him. This is the place to go your any of our automotive needs! I came by for an oil change on my BMW and Mashood had noted that my car was idling oddly and he ran a free diagnostic and saw that a few of my spark plugs were worn out and needed replacing. I went forward with his recommendation and he replaced all 6 of my spark plugs and fixed the issue for me! To top it off there pricing was extremely fair and way better than any Indy shop or dealer.
