I would stear clear of this company. Multiple design flaws, installation issues and granite miscuts have created an installation nightmare with this company. They don't hold to their word, lie about having products in hand and then don't return calls. I'm in month 3 of the installation alone and it will now go i to month 4. My wife and I had an idea back in 2023 that we wanted a floor to ceiling stone fireplace in our living room. When we arrived at American Grill & Hearth location off Clark Road, we were very impressed by the number of linear fireplaces on display. We were introduced to Julian Dixon, who took our idea and created a computer-generated drawing, which brought our idea to life. I wanted our TV to be mounted above the fireplace, with a niche behind the TV to hold some of the electronics. Since Julian had done the same thing on other recent projects, he was able to show me different ways that this could be accomplished. When it came time to select the stone, Julian recommended Tile & Stone of Italy. In fact, the stone used for many of the displays in American Grill & Hearth were from Tile & Stone of Italy. We purchased a new outside grill as well as an indoor gas, fireplace. The fireplace alone was over $7000. Customer service was great up until the time we had issues we would call and leave messages and no one returns your call .horrible customer service I would highly recommend looking for another vendor and not use American hearth and Grill. We cannot say enough good things about the experience we had purchasing our new Alfresco grill and Falmec Vent Hood from American Grill & Hearth! From the moment we walked in and described what we were looking for, they were up front with us in saying that it may be tricky to find a grill that would fit into our existing outdoor kitchen set up. But they did their research and found something that was beyond perfect and American-made! It also contains features, like a Smoke box, which we didn't even know existed in a grill! We also appreciated the attention they took in coming out to our house and taking careful measurements. Then, once installed, came out one more time to touch up any areas on the wall and ceiling that were touched during the install. Cleaned everything to a sparkle and it looks like it we have a brand new outdoor kitchen! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for just a grill or a whole new outdoor kitchen. I spent well over $20K with them in the period of a year. The grill I purchased was in excess of $10K and when the sales manager, Andrew was selling it to me he assured me it was the top of the line, especially the built-in rotisserie unit. I paid in full and then had to wait a full year for delivery. my first attempt at using the rotisserie resulted in the equipment failing and causing a full flare-up of the grill. When I called to report this (two months after delivery) I was told that someone would be reaching out to me from the warranty department, which they did the next day. I was informed that AG&H no longer sells Twin Eagles grills so I would have to take it up with the manufacturer directly. I did, and Twin Eagles were prompt in ordering a replacement assembly and sending out a technician to perform the installation. I have used the rotisserie a total of four times in just under a year and have had it fail on three of those occasions. We are now in the process of replacing these parts for a third time. I have asked for a replacement grill or a full refund and have not had the courtesy of any response from AG&H. I will be seeking legal action against them. I purchased other products from them and once the sale is complete they go silent. I would strongly advise against spending your money with this type of operator. I purchased a SimpliFire electric fireplace on 4/24/19. I took possession of my new home on 8/20/19. The fireplace comes on (with heat) at all times of the day and night. I believe this is a safety/fire issue. I have called both Sarasota and Minnesota for help. I received an email from Sarasota (Tracy) stating that the unit was being activated by another infrared signal either from my home or a neighbor's home and that there is nothing they can do. I sent her an email requesting full refund and have never received a reply. I suggest you DO NOT purchase anything from this store. I have been reduced to contacting the Better Business Bureau for help in resolving this issue. read more

Delivered a faulty grill and made me jump through several hoops to get it replaced. In the end I had to work with Weber directly - and they had a completely different store (Ace hardware) delivery me a new one and ... Here is my story. The lower left door stayed ajar by almost a half inch where as the right door shut just fine. The lid would not close fully on the left side but fit plush on the right, so something was not right. The rotisserie was also mounted crooked and did not open w/o having to literally push it to one side (supposed to just swing up on its own). I saw when the delivery team showed up with the grill, one of them had a hard time standing up from a kneeling position (he was easily 300+ pounds and was maybe 5'8") and so whenever he stood up and was near the grill he would put almost all of his weight on either the door (which shouldn't have any weight put on it EVER) or the lid handle. Any one of those things is bad enough, but all 3 for a brand new $2,000 grill is like buying a new car with a huge scratch across the driver side door. I was told by the delivery guy that replacing those parts by themselves would fix it. So they ordered a replacement lid and door. When the parts finally came about 2 weeks later, they were replaced, and NONE of the above issues were resolved. The repair lady who AG&H sent out to fix it became very upset and aggravated when I pointed out that neither of the issues were fixed after replacing the door and lid. She insisted there was nothing wrong with it when the exact same gaps existed as before. So she told me to call Weber and report the defect as a warranty claim (keep in mind that we only had owned the grill for about two weeks). So I did. Spent several HOURS on the phone not just with Weber, but with AG&H all over again, as Weber told me that for a warranty claim for replacement I would have to work with AG&H. Go figure. So I spoke with the owner this time and she asked that I send some pictures. I took a dozen high res pictures and sent them over. A few days goes by and of course I had to call them and follow up to make sure they got them. After more callbacks and a bunch of back and forth, ultimately they decided to inquire with their Weber Sales Rep. After several days again, I followed up and assured me that he would contact me... So a week goes by and I dont heard anything. So I call them to get his number and called him myself. He returns my call 3 days later like a typical Sales pr*ck would... and of course he says he wants to come out and see it for himself, and take some pictures. So even more time wasted on my part already having done that. So the Rep comes out the following week. He looks at it and takes a few pics and basically tells me that there is nothing wrong with the lid, because the grill just was on an uneven part of my patio... After he moved it, there was still a gap but only slightly less of a gap than before. So the lid was still uneven and didn't shut properly and my wife could even see that. He also poo poo'd the rotisserie being crooked because he could push it to the left to force it open (even though it only swings open from the bottom to the top and should not require any force to open). In the end he told me that he would 'check with the engineers' at Weber regarding the lower left door and why it would not shut properly as there was still a half inch gap at the top. And he left and that was it. He didn't promise me any sort of turnaround time. He didn't tell me the 'next steps' as it were, or keep me abreast as to what was happening.. A full month and a half goes by and I hear nothing from anyone. So I called AG&H back to just say that I want my money back. I did get a hold of the owner again and she asked me if I had used the grill. I was furious because I knew where she was going with that... I told her the truth, that I had used it twice - both of those times were the very first week that I had it - and that was because as the original delivery person had promised me that my issues would be fixed and he told me that I was ok to use it as that would not impact my ability to get the grill fixed or replaced. The grill was never repaired properly and none of the issues I had reported initially were fixed at this point. I was upset and told her that either I get a brand new and completely different grill or I get a refund. I was done doing this dance at this point. She told me that she would make a call to Weber and call me back the next day. I made her promise to call me back the next day.... She didn't. So I let it go for 3 days. I called and followed up every day after that 3rd day and left messages, vm's and even spoke with the Sales mgr twice and left messages with him. To this day she has never called me back. In the end, I had to work with Weber directly and they had a new grill delivered by Ace hardware. I have NONE of the issues above with the new grill... read more

Bought a $3000+ grill with bells and whistles! Not even a year later did the menu control not work. Had someone come out for $150.00 to tell us it was not worth fixing it. To expensive! Ok, so almost 2 years go by and the starter doesn't work. We call this company and a very sweet but not knowledgeable girl helped us. She had to put us on hold 4 times, and call us back 2 times to tells us what part we needed. Then to tell us they have know one that comes out to service grills. Gave us a name for service. He came out and after 139.00 later it was just the batteries! Why was that not suggested over the phone from this company? I will never recommend this company to anyone that is in search of a good grill!!
