Friendly staff. Clean but feels like a real gym. They have great classes and not indoor and outdoor workout areas.

I spent about 2 years here in total training, mostly boxing. I've never felt more at home at a gym. Even if I took 3 months off, I felt like I came back to a friendly and motivating environment. I think people overlook the significance of a healthy environment that welcomes everyone. I found myself inspired by the great coaching here from; Robbie, Steve, Juan, Luke and many more. I started martial arts when I was 13 years old and rekindled that flame in my mid 20s I can say I've gotten most of my valued experience training and sparring here at American Gym. Low ego sparring and good sportsmanship helps everyone learn and this gym embodies that. I am definitely grateful for my experience here.

Been coming to American Boxing Gym for about 6 weeks, best decision I've made in years! I am already down 15 pounds and coming every day is becoming a habit. I am the type of person that needs direction and to be pushed when working out, the trainers are awesome and will push you through your workout. You just have to get here, they will help you do the rest. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and the facility is always clean and welcoming. I highly recommend joining here and either changing or enhancing your fitness level.

Amazing gym for boxing and strength training. It is always super clean and the staff is very helpful. Jesus is my boxing coach and I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn from a true professional. He knows how to teach proper technique and he knows when to progress you. Book a session with him ASAP!!!

I was going to a different studio and wasn't expecting to want to become a member here, but the intro sold me! Courtney and Mitch gave a thorough tour, and her class was so much fun! What really drew me in was the floor area - the class alternates between the bags and strength training so I felt like I was getting a well designed, comprehensive workout. The studio is brand new and super clean, I feel fortunate to be a founding member! In addition to Courtney and Mitch, Brian and Manny are awesome! Manny has been teaching members only clinics (free!) the past two Sundays and I've really enjoyed being challenged and learning from a professional in a small group setting! I also met Julia and Rumble's resident pup, Theo today. Everyone has been so kind, helpful and are truly starting to make it feel like a community. Rumble is located on the Peninsula on Newport Blvd near the pier. There is both street parking (which you have to pay for) and garage parking (which Rumble validates). They sell everything you need - gloves, wraps, workout attire and more. They offer complimentary towels, filtered water and lockers. You can also rent gloves for $3 a session. Booking classes is simple on the app, and you have the opportunity to choose your bag and bench. The studio is still new so classes aren't too full yet, but I feel like it's going to be picking up soon. They still have a ton of free intros going on and a bunch of specials for newcomers. Check it out! You won't regret it :)

She's always there pushing us to improve, which honestly makes a huge difference compared to coaches I've had in the past who weren't consistently present for classes. Her routines are also really well put together. She mixes in new combos here and there, so there's always something new to work on. She's very knowledgeable and experienced in what she teaches. Boxing: Jessie is an awesome boxing coach! He's very attentive, walks around the room to make sure everyone is using proper form. Great combos and I like that he suggests options to add a strike in the middle of the combo routine. Jessie exudes an incredible energy that motivates you to push out your best efforts in every class. Also shoutout to both coaches for good selection of music and always ending each class with stretching. I really appreciate that they take the time for recovery and not just the workout itself.

ON TOP OF THAT-- HIS RESPONSES ARE UNBELIEVABLY CONDESCENDING. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO TRAIN. I canceled my membership in writing on January 26, 2026. A1 Boxing responded to my cancellation with: "Got it! Get back at us when you're available again." I also followed up by phone and was told the membership had been canceled. Despite that, I continued to be charged for approximately seven months after the cancellation. When I discovered the charges, I contacted them, provided the written documentation showing the exact date I canceled and their acknowledgment of it, and asked to be reimbursed for the charges that occurred after cancellation. They refused to refund me. For me, this is not about whether I used the gym or whether I changed my mind. I canceled. They acknowledged the cancellation. The billing continued anyway. I gave them an opportunity to correct it directly, and they chose not to. I now have to escalate the matter through my bank and the appropriate consumer-protection channels simply to recover money charged after a documented cancellation. I would not recommend signing any recurring membership agreement here without carefully monitoring every charge and keeping written records of any cancellation request.

A little over a decade ago, I discovered that kickboxing was my spirit workout. It's the only…read moreworkout that I always look forward to doing, consistently, over and over again. And movement/exercise is so important, especially for me dealing with young-onset Parkinson's disease. So when my favorite kickboxing studio closed last summer after having been my fit fam for almost 10 years, I was on the hunt for a new kickboxing/boxing gym. A couple of months ago, I happened to notice Title Boxing Club as I was driving by. I took the free trial class and immediately joined. And I've taken 24 classes in the last six weeks. They offer both regular boxing and kickboxing classes to a wide range of members: I have seen students to working professionals to retirees. And while each class is paced with distinct intervals, you can punch and kick at your own speed and at your own power level and modify as needed. The classes are taught by some of the friendliest, funnest, and most approachable coaches you'll ever meet. I think I've taken classes with all but one of the coaches (my schedule hasn't lined up with Coach Oleksand's schedule yet, but I'm hoping to catch one of his classes sometime soon), and each coach has their own personality and expertise, which they bring to their classes. Coach Mike is great with those new to boxing/kickboxing. Even though I'm pretty experienced with kickboxing in general, I find his detailed instructions helpful reminders to maintain proper form as my dystonia and dyskinesia try to take me down. (Not today, Parkinson's MFers!) Mike patiently explains and demonstrates each punch and kick and reminds everyone to be safe and to modify and take breaks as necessary. But don't underestimate him just because he's a nice guy; his class will kick your butt without you knowing it kicked your butt until after it's done kicking your butt. All while he's low-key zen-like congratulating you on a job well done and kindly reminding you to stay hydrated. Coach Marcus has a lot of cross-disciplinary expertise and stresses the importance of defensive boxing. In his class there's a focus on light footwork, slips, and rolls. Marcus also sometimes incorporates aspects of yoga and tai chi into his class, which is so cool to me as it juxtaposes smooth, flowing, grounded movements with the sharp jabs and quick punches of boxing, showing how strength and power can be fundamental in each of these disciplines which work well with and complement the other. Coach Diego is the ultimate cheerleader of the club and has a perpetually huge warm smile on his face because he's always genuinely thrilled to be there. You can clearly see how much passion he has for, and fun he has with coaching boxing and kickboxing. You can't help but to also smile with him; even me with my resting-workout-face, I can't not smile when he gives me a fist bump. It's especially appreciated after his super high-energy class when I'm wiped out. I'm old, he's young, and he reminds me of when I used to have that kind of energy. Coach Emmanuel is very good at pushing you that extra bit more than you think you can do. You don't think you can do it, but you do end up doing it and then you feel great about it. How does he do this? One word: "EXPLODE!". That's right. Whenever he yells out "EXPLODE!" you do a pre-determined set of moves in a quick, explosive manner at maximum power. It could be at 15 seconds, 10 seconds, 8.5 seconds, 3.141592 seconds, who knows? Or it could be back-to-back-to-back-to-back until you think your arms will fall off but you keep going anyway until you finish the complete drill because it was so damn fun and you love a good challenge and Pavlov or something like that. Off the floor he's got such a kind and calm demeanor and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The front desk staff are also wonderful. They greet you by name when you come in, are happy to help you with anything you need, and are just all-around positive and encouraging. Shout-out to Ina (manager and the first friendly smile you'll see most days walking into the gym), Cierra (she was the one who signed me up. When it was time to give her my credit card, I realized I'd left my wallet at home. I told her I'd run home real quick to get my wallet and be right back. On the way home I laughed because I realized that sounded like a stereotypical bad line to dump a business and that she probably was thinking "yeah, right, lady." I think she was surprised I actually came back within 5 minutes.), Abby (she greeted me by name the first time we met. How did she know? Is that a superpower?), and one other girl I saw one time I came in but sorry I didn't catch her name. They make me happy to show my face there every day. If you're curious or on the fence about boxing or kickboxing, come try out Title! At the very least, you'll get a (first time is) free fun and effective workout. Or maybe, just maybe, you'll discover your newest favorite sweat therapy.

When this happened for the second time, I tried to speak with him to resolve the issue. Instead of addressing the problem, he chose to mock my accent.
