The workouts are tough, efficient, and never feel like they're wasting your time. Somehow they've managed to make the stairmaster slightly less terrible, which may be their greatest accomplishment. The coaches are great, the studio is beautiful, and everyone is friendly. I appreciate that the focus is on getting stronger and seeing real results, not just leaving drenched in sweat. My legs and glutes hate me after class. Five stars.

My friend Sara and I politely asked if we could be next to each other if the spot was available. She immediately responded, "No." I asked why, and she replied, "Because I said no. You're on spot 4." When I asked again, since the spot was open, she told me members get priority and that I was a ClassPass user. I responded that I am still a paying customer and that ClassPass guests should not be treated as though they are less valued. I chose not to argue further and simply walked into class. Once inside, I saw that nearly every spot--including the one next to my friend--was still open. I quietly asked the instructor if it would be okay for us to stand next to each other. Before the instructor could even respond, the front desk employee walked into the room, came up behind me, and yelled in front of the entire class, "You're not moving! Or you can leave!" I was embarrassed and shocked by how I was spoken to. This is not the first time I have experienced disrespect from this employee, and every interaction I've had with her has made me feel unwelcome. Regardless of whether someone books directly through the studio or through ClassPass, every paying customer deserves to be treated with respect. Because of this repeated behavior, I will not be returning to this studio.

I've worked out at countless gyms and I've never seen the GM do that. They were always too good or too above that. Very humble and professional leadership on her part. Might have to switch gyms soon since 75lb dumbbells are too light for me. But I really like this gym and the simplicity of it as well as their clean locker rooms and recovery room. Very nice gym for the price. This gym makes 24Hour Fitness look like a homeless shelter.

Additionally, after I started working out 4-5 times per week I began having issues with a range of different muscle and joint pains (basically I kept hurting myself). So I decided to sign up for sessions with Tatum myself, and she taught me a regimen of stretching and corrective exercises which has basically cured my issues. The facility itself is beautiful, upscale, and consistently clean, with thoughtful amenities like Kiehl's products in the locker rooms that make the experience feel elevated. What really makes this gym stand out, though, are the amazing instructors. Cory for spin, Mariah for mat Pilates, and Haly, Isaiah, and Carmen for Alpha are some of my favorites. Last year, around May 2025, they introduced CTR, a reformer-based Pilates class that was a total game changer for me. I no longer needed to go to a separate Pilates studio. Rob and KO helped build the program, and they were both spectacular. Rob is rarely there now, and KO recently left the gym. In my opinion, Anisa Diaz is an exceptional CTR instructor. Honestly, she's great in every class I've taken with her, including spin and mat Pilates. No two CTR classes with her are ever the same. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, has excellent flow, and every movement feels intentional and challenging in the best way. She consistently brings fresh ideas and new challenges that keep the classes engaging and fun. She truly elevated the entire experience. However, over the past few months, some of her classes have been cut, and I feel the CTR program has started to feel lacking and subpar. Because of that, I've found myself returning to private Pilates studios like Drenched OC, Anodetome, Sol, and Jetset Pilates, which are all fantastic if you're considering a private studio experience. At this point, I mainly take CTR at Life Time only when Anisa is teaching. Overall, I'm still very happy with Life Time. I just wish they would bring more energy -- and Anisa -- back to CTR.

Unfortunately, the front desk experience has consistently been disappointing. There are always several staff members standing at the front, but when issues are brought up, they tend to repeat the same response instead of actually helping resolve the situation. What's even more frustrating is that when you ask to speak with a manager, suddenly everyone claims to be the manager, yet no one is able to provide a solution. On top of that, membership fees have been increased without proper notice. For a gym at this level, I expected much better customer service and communication.

Under Blake's guidance I gained 15 ibs of muscle within 2 months and am still shocked. * The main differentiation are in the instructors. From my experience the instructors are amazing, knowledgeable and definitely push you. * Compared to other gyms this is the only one I found that had swimming coaches which is an added plus -------- Cons: * Ideal cleanliness and hygiene are inconsistent in the male lockers and showers. Showers can be clogged and stay clogged for a while (especially at the location on main) * Not the best place to find a down to earth community * Misuse within mens sauna carrying in devices and synthetic fiber clothing which can cause respiratory irritation etc * Ice baths have a ton of surrounding mosquitoes around which is not ideal
