This has been 2 months over due! I have nothing but great things to say about Insta Party Spot. I…read morecompletely sought out venues very late for my daughter's first birthday (a month before her birthday!) and I found Insta Party Spot on Yelp. I made a quick tour appointment on the site and was able to be seen a few days after I made my appointment. Andrew was our coordinator he was so fantastic with great customer service, from picking out our theme colors, chairs, types of tables, lighting, and he even sent out our quote the same day we toured the venue. He did let me know that there was a party planned for the evening time of the same day I needed (I requested a morning time), our times were from 10am-3pm. He sent out reminders through out the month from deposit reminders to full payment to asking last questions about the party. My estimate of attendees were 60 but then quickly jumped to 100 in the matter of 2 weeks and Andrew swiftly recommended a few changes to accommodate fitting everyone in the venue. Our two amazingly wonderful hosts assigned to us on party day were Alexandra and Danielle. These wonderful women were so great with helping us set up and suggested placement of decorations, fine tuned last minute touches, made the dessert table and the seating tables look great alongside with my mom and best friends. They even had all the tables and chairs ready with the requested linen before we even got there! The taco man (which Insta Party Spot had as a recommendation and a partner catering) was outside getting the taco meat ready. I requested the taco man to start serving at noon and they were ready at that time on the dot. I even hired a soft play company, and the hosts left a 13x13 spot for it and set the tables accordingly. Everything went so smoothly, the venue and hosts were amazing, the tacos were delicious and was perfect for the amount of people we had. I cannot rave about this place enough, absolutely great. Attended and helped set up and breakdown an event this past weekend. Our event was reunion, we…read moregot bumped from Brookside in Pasadena because the Rose Bowl has the right to do so when a huge event is taking place simultaneously. So out we go to San Dimas, after the commute and winding through a residential neighborhood you'll find a nice facility with easy access. Regarding decor, I recommend bringing everything you need to create ambiance. You cannot affix anything to the walls so it's a blank canvas. Lighting seemed to be a good option, I wish we had more. They kept the room very bright, it would have been nice if our banquet manager showed us how to dim the lights. Most people were talking and catching up, so it was a small detail, but would have been easier on the eyes to not be brightly lit. You also have to bring in all your own equipment for music and video. They did help us set up our projector and laptop to a screen on the wall to show a slideshow video. Areas of improvement: The bar needed a second bartender to serve as the line was out the door to the bar. So the event planner, banquet manager should have planned for that based on the number of RSVPs. There was coffee and tea self service in the bar. They only had "to go" cups and fake creamer. This was a disappointment. Dessert was served on disposable styrofoam plate which seemed a little janky. What was very nice: The dinner was buffet, real plates and silverware and cloth napkins. Yay. The food selections were cheese platter, fruits for appy, then Tri-Tip (very good), chicken (didn't try) Veggie Lasagna (needed some color, didn't try), mashed potatoes, rice and assorted squash (squash was good). The staff was friendly, AC worked great as it was over 100 degrees outside. So we couldn't use the balcony. Bathroom and event space were clean. Overall a positive experience. Appreciated their hospitality. We were able to set up l(see bridal lounge to change clothes... for an additional fee) breakdown and get everything out in our allotted time.

Despite it being a smaller venue, we were still able to have a DJ, dance floor, and taco man. With that, 65 guests was pushing the limit so I think if you're planning a party with more people this venue would not be for you. I had my baby shower at Electric Loft just over a month ago, and have nothing but wonderful things…read moreto say about my experience! When I first requested a quote, I recieved a response very quickly from Pro, the manager, and he remained available for any questions I had until I was ready to sign my quote and lock in my event (and thereafter until shower day.) When you request a quote, you'll be sent a questionnaire about what you'll need for your event (time frame, services, furnishings, etc.) so you know exactly what you're paying for when you get your price. There is a lot included in the price, but other than some standard items like tables and chairs, you'll need to rent, or bring in everything else yourself or with outside vendors. I did all of my own decor, had my family and friends help me set up, and we catered Porto's. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, prep area and sink as well if you're cooking yourself, we used the oven to warm up potato balls and stored drinks in the fridge and it worked out great. You can rent a cover for the kitchen if it's not your vibe. Here's some of the concerns I had before booking and how we overcame them: Concern: the venue is on the second story in a historic building and is only accessible by stairs. Solution: It is only one flight of stairs, and there is a break in the middle with ample room for a chair or bench if guests need a stopping point. I informed my guests of this ahead of time and had my husband help anyone who needed assistance, everyone was able to make it work. It was a little but rough carrying all of our own stuff up, but many hands made light work. Concern: there is only one bathroom for an event of nearly 90 people. Solution: Honestly, this was only an issue for us at the beginning of our event when people were arriving from far away places. Once the initial rush died out, there was never even a line for the bathroom. Concern: the space is very plain. Solution: The space does not have many bells and whistles, but I found it charming and rustic, and there's lots of opportunity to really make it as dressed up as you want with whatever theme you can think of. Also, the natural light from the windows on both sides of the building made things that much more appealing. Concern: there is no designated parking. Solution: the Electric Loft team was able to save some spaces directly in front for me and my set-up team, and then parking is open up and down the streets as well as at the nearby park. No one had any issues, save for some later arrivals as there was some kind of art event at another building nearby. There may be a little walking involved, but not so much that it made anything impossible. All in all, everyone thought it was a great spot and I've been recommending Electric Loft all over the place, and I'll continue to do so. Also shout out to The Splendor Co for my photo spot!

Major KUDOS to DYLAN, one of the amazing staff members at La Fetra. He was consistently checking the trash cans and making sure they weren't over flowing or beginning to look messy. We really appreciate how helpful he was during the whole event. The gentleman was really easy going and nice to all our guests. Not to mention, he worse his mask the ENTIRE event (set up and clean up) and stayed 6ft away at all times! You rock Dylan! Also, special thanks to SHERYL RYAN was our direct point of contact and she made the planning process easy. It was so stressful planning this even but Sheryl reassured us and answered all our questions about the venue and was very transparent with everything overall. Amenities: *Parking: there are about 5 parking spots right behind the venue (in the back facing the baseball field) that allow easy access from the cars to the venue. For example, if you have to bring decor in or other heavy things you cannot carry a long distance. This side parking made it very convenient to clean up the decorations and load cars with the gifts. Also, there is a small parking lot right across the street, just a few feet away from the center. The parking lot was able to accommodate all cars of the guests and no one really had to park on the street. As someone who dislikes street parking with a passion, this was a major plus! *The bathrooms were clean and spacious. There were plenty of stalls and no one had to wait in line (not even the ladies!) *There is a big wide window that overlooks the baseball field and the scenery is so calming and nice to look at. It makes me miss when I used to live nearby in Azusa. Now, time to convince my mom to let me have my graduation party here!
