I…read morecompletely sought out venues very late for my daughter's first birthday (a month before her birthday!) and I found Insta Party Spot on Yelp. I made a quick tour appointment on the site and was able to be seen a few days after I made my appointment. Andrew was our coordinator he was so fantastic with great customer service, from picking out our theme colors, chairs, types of tables, lighting, and he even sent out our quote the same day we toured the venue. He did let me know that there was a party planned for the evening time of the same day I needed (I requested a morning time), our times were from 10am-3pm. He sent out reminders through out the month from deposit reminders to full payment to asking last questions about the party. My estimate of attendees were 60 but then quickly jumped to 100 in the matter of 2 weeks and Andrew swiftly recommended a few changes to accommodate fitting everyone in the venue. Our two amazingly wonderful hosts assigned to us on party day were Alexandra and Danielle. These wonderful women were so great with helping us set up and suggested placement of decorations, fine tuned last minute touches, made the dessert table and the seating tables look great alongside with my mom and best friends. They even had all the tables and chairs ready with the requested linen before we even got there! The taco man (which Insta Party Spot had as a recommendation and a partner catering) was outside getting the taco meat ready. I requested the taco man to start serving at noon and they were ready at that time on the dot. I even hired a soft play company, and the hosts left a 13x13 spot for it and set the tables accordingly. Everything went so smoothly, the venue and hosts were amazing, the tacos were delicious and was perfect for the amount of people we had. I cannot rave about this place enough, absolutely great. We hope to have another party with you guys again. Thank you Insta Party Spot. My daughter had such a great time! Alexandra and Danielle, you both were such a delight to have. It seems old and dated, but with a bit of love and cosmetics (like how his planners designed the whole place) then it's a whole different place! Plenty of room for apps, main course and the bar was strategically placed in the back. There's also a big dance floor. Venue can easily fit 200 - 250 people comfortably. Free lot parking at the back (it's a little tricky to find but not too bad - slow down when you get on Morlan Place, should be easy from there!) They should signs or something, because a lot of people missed it. Other than the parking snag, we had a great time at this place! If it were close to home, I'd consider using it as well!

I loved that we had the freedom to bring in our own vendors. He even allowed us to create a personalized bar menu. He was always quick to respond to my questions. Despite it being a smaller venue, we were still able to have a DJ, dance floor, and taco man. With that, 65 guests was pushing the limit so I think if you're planning a party with more people this venue would not be for you. Other than that, this venue was awesome and made it very easy for my first time throwing a party. Wish I took more pictures but you can definitely do a lot with the space.

So out we go to San Dimas, after the commute and winding through a residential neighborhood you'll find a nice facility with easy access. Regarding decor, I recommend bringing everything you need to create ambiance. You cannot affix anything to the walls so it's a blank canvas. Lighting seemed to be a good option, I wish we had more. They kept the room very bright, it would have been nice if our banquet manager showed us how to dim the lights. Most people were talking and catching up, so it was a small detail, but would have been easier on the eyes to not be brightly lit. You also have to bring in all your own equipment for music and video. They did help us set up our projector and laptop to a screen on the wall to show a slideshow video. Areas of improvement: The bar needed a second bartender to serve as the line was out the door to the bar. So the event planner, banquet manager should have planned for that based on the number of RSVPs. There was coffee and tea self service in the bar. They only had "to go" cups and fake creamer. This was a disappointment. Dessert was served on disposable styrofoam plate which seemed a little janky. What was very nice: The dinner was buffet, real plates and silverware and cloth napkins. Yay. The food selections were cheese platter, fruits for appy, then Tri-Tip (very good), chicken (didn't try) Veggie Lasagna (needed some color, didn't try), mashed potatoes, rice and assorted squash (squash was good). The staff was friendly, AC worked great as it was over 100 degrees outside. So we couldn't use the balcony. Bathroom and event space were clean. Overall a positive experience. Ben helped me for 2 months plan and get things the way I wanted and needed. Him and the team answered every question and calmed every fear. The holiday menu... every food item... absolutely wonderful. Service was top notch. Venue and set up... beautiful! Everything from A-Z including the drinks and table settings and color coordinated linens. I am truly grateful for how the servers, event staff and Ben worked with me and flawlessly executed. I am hard to please, but they OVER achieved in the details!
