We held our rehearsal dinner in the historic farm house built in 1908, took photos in awe inspiring pastures, and shared our vows on a cold winter day in the most charming granary greeted by the most delightful farm animals. Each family prepares a meal and we just have a good time. The Jenne Farm is a fantastic spot to let the woes of city life disappear while you sit on the porch of the 100 year old farm house. Take walks through the farm land and forests visit the beach nearby and mainly just relax. Chat with the farmers who stop buy nearly daily to tend to things they will give you farm fresh eggs even take you on a hay ride. I got to drive the tractor...felt like a kid again! We had a small, intimate wedding of about 50 guests. Because the weather was cold, we had the ceremony and reception indoors and it was just the right amount of space. The buildings are clean and cozy. The caretaker was friendly and helpful. I loved how flexible and accommodating she was. The rental price was very reasonable. Many of our guests complimented the venue and its beauty! There are many ways you can arrange a wedding here, but we had the ceremony in the house in front of huge windows overlooking the deck and lake. There were bedrooms we used for dressing rooms in the back. In the next room was a kitchen with fridge and oven. We used the oven to keep food warm. We had the reception in the next building over, called the "Meadow Room." It was a spacious room with a sink, gas furnace and restrooms just outside. They had plenty of tables and chairs and we were even able to hang decorations from the ceiling. We took most of the professional photos outside in the natural beauty, which was perfect! This will be a cherished memory we will hold for years to come and we will definitely be returning to the property for other family events!

Wine can be purchased by the glass or the bottle. Water is self-serve at the counter. Food items are light, ranging from cheese starters, salads and pizzas. During our visit we shared a few different bottles of wine, each of us favoring different blends. The White Blend bottle for $24 was a favorite for the couple ladies that preferred sweeter wine. We shared the Beet Salad for $16: Arugula, roasted beets, goat cheese, pickled red onions, pistachios and balsamic vinaigrette. I had the Rubin which a lot of places never get right. It was perfect. Perfectly grilled, crisp on the outside but warm, soft and melted on the inside. It was piled high with meat, no skimping there.
