When we first reached out to the VFW to get information about reserving the date, we were greeted with great professionalism, condolences and a welcoming vibe. From the very beginning, Josh was very nice and helped us with every thing we needed. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. The day of the event we had such a great experience. The hall was nice, the tables and chairs were neatly stacked for our use. It's very nice inside. We had a great bartender, Florene! She was friendly, funny and poured some great drinks. We really enjoyed her And I know that it's a volunteer job so we really appreciate her time. Thank you Josh and Florene for helping us organize and get through a tough day. We really appreciate you.

Sometimes it is even free! The only problem is most are simply unaware of what activities are scheduled. The only folks who are aware are the "regulars" who stop by the post on a regular basis. Many times the monthly calendar is posted late (many don't even know where to go to access the calendar). If there is a special event not listed on the calendar members and non members never get directly notified. The post has a massive email mailing list of folks so why not just send out a copy of the monthly calendar, along with event updates to everyone? One click does it all. The turnout would be a lot better, and the bar would get additional revenue from those who drink too. If they did that they would get five stars!!!!

This is a place I call home and have for many years. It's a place where Veterans, active military and their families and friends come together for great food, cheap drinks, parties, bbq, holidays, events and celebrations of all kind. It is open daily from 9-10 and stays open later on the weekends. There is a calendar of events every month and it doesn't get boring. It's a great place for younger and older folks alike. There is something for just about everyday of the week. Whether it's Monday night Thursday night football w inexpensive food & drinks, or regular Wednesday with homemade lunches that are so delicious , Taco Tuesdays (on hold during football season), or the awesome Sunday breakfasts, like I said there is something for just about everyday and all very reasonably priced with friendly and warm environment. It can also be rented out for outdoor or indoor events. It is a little hard to find the first time as it sits back on a long driveway, but if you look up you can't miss the American flag.
