This is a place I call home and have for many years. Everyone is like family and if you're new, it…read morewon't take long for you to get that sense of unity with the people and this particular post. It's a place where Veterans, active military and their families and friends come together for great food, cheap drinks, parties, bbq, holidays, events and celebrations of all kind. It is open daily from 9-10 and stays open later on the weekends. There is a calendar of events every month and it doesn't get boring. It's a great place for younger and older folks alike. There is something for just about everyday of the week. Whether it's Monday night Thursday night football w inexpensive food & drinks, or regular Wednesday with homemade lunches that are so delicious , Taco Tuesdays (on hold during football season), or the awesome Sunday breakfasts, like I said there is something for just about everyday and all very reasonably priced with friendly and warm environment. It can also be rented out for outdoor or indoor events. It is a little hard to find the first time as it sits back on a long driveway, but if you look up you can't miss the American flag. So join us and have some fun and support the Veteran's. let them know your a visitor and soon you will want to be part of this family. If you are not in this area check out your local VFW post. Sometimes it is even free! The only problem is most are simply unaware of what activities are scheduled. The only folks who are aware are the "regulars" who stop by the post on a regular basis. Many times the monthly calendar is posted late (many don't even know where to go to access the calendar). If there is a special event not listed on the calendar members and non members never get directly notified. The post has a massive email mailing list of folks so why not just send out a copy of the monthly calendar, along with event updates to everyone? One click does it all. The turnout would be a lot better, and the bar would get additional revenue from those who drink too. If they did that they would get five stars!!!!

Raul was the nicest person we've met, he was very nice and friendly she very helpful. His communication was impeccable never kept me waiting when I had questions. He also helped me set up a little for my reception. Drink prices were very good compared to other places. The bar tenders were extremely nice and even the patrons there were very nice to everyone. Not only for members but for the anyone who wanted to join the fun and learn a little V.F.W. History. These veterans are changing the social stigma of past V.F.W.'s across the country. He pushes veteran advocacy exactly the way you'd expect a Marine to. They have VSOs come in twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Pete got me in to see Hector and Paul to discuss my rating. It was a great example of a veteran looking out for another veteran and making sure we get the benefits we've earned. Thanks to Pete, Hector, and Paul, I was able to receive a substantial increase in my rating. If you're a vet, or know one, tell them about this special VFW. It's not just a place for veterans to hang out, have a drink, and bond with fellow vets. It's also a place where you can get advice, support, and real assistance from people who genuinely care about helping veterans.

A fun place in a neighborhood without a lot of bars. Once here, the beer is cold, they have up to six tattoos active depending on the time of year, and several TV's to watch the games. They have a pool table, recently refelted, and a patio for smokers. They have BBQs open to the public on Labor Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th, and a breakfast on the third Sunday of the month. Other events require membership. Their Oktoberfest party is off the hook, and also open to the public. Prices are inexpensive, and they do a lot for the community, so consider joining if you can.
