I went to a purchase a ticket for the Saturday night Whose Line show, but it sold out! I called and they said they have a few overflow seat accommodations, and I should come anyway. Even sitting off to the side on a chair, I had the time of my life. I truly can't wait to come back. All improv, lots of audience inspo, and just soooo much fun. All the players were great and I'm really looking forward to bringing my friends next time! A few snacks/canned bevvies for purchase. About 30 seats for the show. Gave us a quick background information about the place and how the menu worked with great enthusiasm. He was prompt and very attentive to our needs. I ended up getting a cortado with steamed whole milk. The coffee was brewed well. It wasn't overly bitter and had a good full bodied flavor. For the breakfast entree I end up getting a the E.A.L classic which was hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, kielbasa, caramelized onions, and a house-made hot sauce (kinda looked like pesto). The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. It was very fluffy and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. It paired extremely well with the house made hot sauce. The hashbrowns were also cooked well. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The kielbasa was great on its own by topped with the caramelized onions it elevated the experience. Per the server's suggestion we also ordered the sourdough with their seasonal jam, being blueberry jam during this occasion. The jam was more like compote so it had chunks of the berry. It wasn't overly sweet and paired wonderfully with the crispy sourdough bread. Additionally, I shared with my friend the Toasted Coconut and Blueberry Pancake. That was simply a delight. The pancake was prepared like a Japanese style fluffy pancake. It was nice and fluffy with a perfect amount of sweetness to each and every airy bite. It was also topped with shaved toasted coconut flakes, blueberry and lemon jam, buttercream, some maple syrup, fresh mint, and sour pineapple which honestly brought everything together. The sweet and sour play of the toppings and the pancake was a fun experience, neither overpowering the other. Even though I had finished the E.A.L Classic I couldn't help finishing every bite of the pancake. "High-end quality wholesome food that feeds the soul" is the best way I'd describe this place.

The downside is that the area and chairs in that were dirty, strewn with losing ticket stubs and cigarette butts (although it says no smoking, the guy next to us chain smoked for the entire time). Still, we had fun. Won a little money and placed our bets for Derby Downs which was to take place much later. We had the best mint julep made by a very nice lady bartender who made a wonderful drink. The guy bartender complained about his time being wasted by having to make them. Hey, it's Derby Day! When it was time goes us to move on, we exited via the poker room which was filled with lots of intense players. The area was quite inviting though. The grounds and the interior were very clean and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered (except grumpy bartender) was friendly and helpful which always seems to makes it more fun.
