I was first quoted $2,600, then suddenly $2,019 for the same repairs after I questioned the price. I approved the repairs. The parts were installed--but the car still does not accelerate properly. I was then told there are additional engine problems outside their scope of work. I am now responsible for a $2,019 bill, my car is still undrivable, and I have to tow it to another mechanic to actually diagnose what's wrong. This shop relies heavily on computer codes rather than true mechanical diagnostics. If you don't already know exactly what's wrong with your car, be extremely cautious. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle to a qualified, full-service mechanic instead.

About a decade ago, a fellow Aerospace Engineer at his workplace (G.K.N.), suggested that he take our car and truck to Don Duncans for services there. He said he recommended them, because their work was higher quality, and was often less expensive than the other ones. We tried them out, and were both pleasantly surprised! After that, any time that we needed an oil change, or work on our vehicles, we always took them to Don Duncans. They don't just do the jobs beautifully, but they give us advice on what we can do, to extend the life of our vehicles. The staff are always very pleasant and friendly, and they have NEVER overcharged us for any of their services! My husband passed away a few years ago, and he was always the one who took care of getting our cars serviced. I am extremely grateful that I have such a high quality business that I can trust, with keeping my vehicle in great shape! They explicitly quoted me a 3-hour turnaround time for the job. ​9 hours later, the mechanic still couldn't get it done, and it stretched into the next day. They finally called me after lunch on day 2 to let me know the trucks alignment is as good as they can get it due to a control arm that cannot be adjusted. And when they test drove it they told me the brake calibers on both sides are freezing up now. They have said now they will try to replace them as well.To make matters worse, there was zero communication on day one from the staff throughout the entire process. I had to be the one chasing them down for updates, and nobody took any responsibility for missing the deadlines by such an outrageous margin.
