horrible horrible service. my girlfriend went alone and the way they were bothering her and talking sexually to her and being very very unprofessional. you don't talk about trying to cheat with a 18 yo girl an try to get her with someone and talk hours about things. very unprofessional and everyone in there needs to be fired ( except old mechanic he's nice) but everyone in there is beyond disrespectful. beyond inappropriate. this has went on for 4 hours by the way! . We found ourselves needing a tire repaired at 9:00 on a Sunday morning in a strange city on the second day of a 1000 mile trip. It was a brand new car but we picked up a nail someplace. Jay was more than accommodating and had us on the road in short order. His demeanor and our conversations of the morning refreshes our belief that "there are still good people out there." I came in for a oil change last week, and it took 2 hours not to mention i had an appointment . I tried to ask the man at the desk, wondering if he could see what was going on. He then caught an attitude with me, and told me if i wanted a 5 minute oil change to go to Take 5 Oil Change. I was a paying a customer and he was VERY rude. Then he was also trying to get me to buy new brakes, and tires. I wouldn't recommend this Pep Boys to anyone! read more

I don't even wanna put one star. I dropped off my car at 10 am for oil change and AC test and went back to pick up my car at 5 pm but the car was on the same spot and they said they forgot about my car......they said I can pick up my car next morning so I just came to pick up and on the receipt, they charged me recharging gas like 160 bucks. I didn't get any phone call or text yesterday and just asked AC evaluation. Now they are saying I need to replace the compressor and I can't take my car if I don't pay for recharging gas that I didn't even ask or confirmed. They just try to make extra money from me and don't even care about customers. Don't bring your car here if you want to fix your car. read more

I called to shocks, struts and tires on my vehicle, they gave me quote and said they would have to order the parts. When I called to pay the deposit for parts the service manger was not in the office and told me to call back after sitting on hold for 20+ minutes. I did this multiple times over a 2 week period spending hours on hold. I finally spoke with Melvin... Melvin advised me he could not take my deposit over the phone and I needed to come in since he did not write the ticket. I explained this is a 2 hour round trip for me and advised me he could take the payment over the phone if he wrote ticket but since he did not write the ticket he would not let me pay over the phone and needed me to drive there or call back and try to reach the original person I spoke with which he also couldn't give me definite answer of who I spoke with. I hope Melvin finds the Job he wants because it's Definitely not this one. Being friendly or even helpful would go a long ways. Zero stars. read more

I was having issues with my car and brought it in to this pep boys location due to the master mechanic not being available at Atlantic road. Jay (service manager) and Perry (mechanic) were so nice, understanding, and went above and beyond to make sure my car was fixed and running. If you schedule an oil change and think it's going to be quick- it probably will not be even with a call ahead. The mechanic took off on a joyride in my car before doing a simple oil change! I'm not sure why and I should have asked but I just wanted to leave as soon as my car was done. One of the mechanics also cussed super loud complaining that he didn't have the inventory he needed. I was in to have a tire fixed under warranty . The staff wasn't busy as a matter of fact one guy was using his phone in the open repair bay and James and another employee were watching television. There were no other customers but the employees were parked in the handicap parking spaces . Which seems to be a common practice since I have observed this selfish activity on 2 other occasions . I asked for their help but I was blown off for a ups delivery driver's delivery . I was told that I would need to go to the Atlanta Hwy store since I didn't get that tire from them the last time I bought tires only because they were not any better at doing their jobs then as now . I do not recommend this business location under any circumstances . You'd be better off at the Atlanta Hwy. Location . Do not waste your time or money here . Great friendly staff, in and out quickly! Very pleased! I needed rear brakes. I got them quickly and at a reasonable price.

After a week and more than 1/2 dozen calls with customer service, and as many un-kept promises to have the case "elevated" and my call returned....after wasting 4-5 hours of my life...I finally got resolution through the area rep, but also not without heartburn. Sad to say as bad as my experience was with Pep Boys, still not as bad as other companies I have dealt with in the past, but close. Companies have got too big to care about individual care anymore. They got my daughters money and could give a damn that they screwed up. read more

I had a front hub assembly (wheel bearing) go out on the Interstate on a Saturday about noon. It was about 3: before the tow truck got my car into Pep Boys and I was afraid that I was going to be there till Monday but they jumped right on it and I was out of there in about an hour. Very pleased with the service in the shop and especially at the front desk. Fair price and good service that I definitely recomend. read more

No words are sufficient to express my gratitude to the wonderful folks at Pep Boys on Malcolm Drive. I am 900 miles from my Illinois home in my 1997 van. I had to stand on the brakes at a stoplight to avoid a collision, and in doing so ruptured a brake line. I was able to limp in to Pep Boys, was greeted by Jeremy, the area manager who happened to be there today. He went right to my van and made a quick assessment, and in 30 minutes the van was on the rack. It was mid-afternoon, I had little hope of having the repair done by closing time. But Christopher, Master Tech, worked past closing time to get me back on the road. Thanks too, to Nehemiah who helped, and Derrick, the store manager. These people care about people, and they know their business. If I could give them ten gold stars, I would. read more
