Our new mattress was delivered, but the crew refused to take our old mattress and foundation, contrary to what Tarik had told us would happen when we purchased the new set. The installation crew leader was rude, unprofessionally dressed in pajama pants and driving a rental truck, and told us that they could not put the old mattress with into their truck because it had slight staining. He indicated that they were a subcontractor to the store and not employees. You had to look very hard to find a small sweat stain on the mattress, which was their excuse. To make things worse, he then said that they couldn't dispose of the foundation because they only take complete sets of mattresses and foundations. He said that they donate the used mattress to churches, but nothing of this nature was mentioned when we purchased the mattress. Our 12 year old mattress was quite worn out and I can't imaging anyone wanting it - it is ready for the landfill. Basically, we feel that we were lied to by Tarik. Should anything happen that requires a warranty, I no longer trust this store, as my gut feel is they would shirk their responsibility or tell us more lies. We were shopping for two mattresses, but I can tell you that the second certainly won't be purchased from this store.

The other options were online, and very expensive and quality was unknown. Also the limited weight capacity for the "wayfair" brands did not meet our weight requirements. Just met with the owner, Ray. He is very personable and takes pride in his work. We went to his shop out of his house. Things we liked: He did not try to over sell us stuff we don't need. He does delivery for a very reasonable fee. We essentially custom made our bed. (Full over full, and 2 pieces) We can later add a trundle bed in the future. Looks like he does high quality work with high quality parts. It's made locally. Mattress are also available for purchase. I will update my review once we get it delivered by him, installed (our selves) and slept in. Overall, without product in hand, we are very happy with our experience already.

We were hoping to support a local business, but the owner of this business does not hold up his…read morepromises. First, he said we'd have our two twin-size bunk beds in a few days. It took two weeks. In this time, he did not communicate with us to let us know what was happening. When he did finally call/text, he was full of excuses--his electricity was turned off, he got in an accident, death in the family. He even called to ask for an additional $100 because the stain he was using spilled and he needed to go buy more. In addition to the beds, we ordered two dressers. The owner said we'd have the dressers on Dec. 28. It's now the end of January, and we still don't have the dressers. I've texted the owner multiple times and he has not replied. So, he took our deposit and did not deliver the product. I have texts and images of the invoice as proof of the poor business practices. He wants to work through Venmo, which is convenient for him because Venmo won't offer refunds on undelivered goods. I've never written a review on any business before, and I'm really disappointed that I felt I needed to start now. But you should be aware that you run the possibility of losing your money and have nothing to show for it.
