Great customer service. I had an issue with my order and it was immediately rectified to complete satisfaction. They make quality memory products. Good pricing. 5lb, least support but the truest squishy memory foam if that's what's you're looking for. 4lb, seems to be the sweet spot, closest support to the old tempur topper supreme that was discontinued. 4lb might break down faster than the 5lb, but with the pricing on their products you can easily replace it before that happens. 3lb, would just pay the extra dollars for the 4lb. I ordered samples from 3 different manufacturers, and these were the best. Foamonline - cheap feeling, their "premium" memory foam is equivalent of the basic 3lb memory foam here. Foamorder - prices are insane. a king topper for $1200? signed up for a coupon code via text when ordering samples, and then they messaged me stating my code would expire if I didn't use it - before my sample order even arrived. I ordered my queen foam mattress on January 2 and it arrived on January 9! Speedy delivery, indeed! At first I thought they had shipped the wrong size. When I opened the box it looked no wider than a twin. But as I unwrapped it from its shrink wrap cocoon I realized the mattress had been folded in half and then rolled! As it hissed and expanded I was reminded of the old Dick VanDyke Show episode where Laura snoops in a package delivered to Rob and the inflatable raft expands right out of the closet. My initial review was very good. But at the one year mark, I need to change my review based on experience. First of all, let me say, for the price it's not a bad deal. However, the cushions that I purchased which were lux high quality, only performed well for 9 or 10 months. I'm now at the one year mark and they are bottoming out already. But that doesn't necessarily mean that I would not recommend them. They're very cheap. So if you just have to get through a year with new cushions, they would probably work. But if you're looking for something to last longer, you may want to spend more money and get better quality somewhere else. read more

I ordered replacement foam cushions for a couch and chair. I called the company twice to make sure I was measuring it correctly and they never once told me that they have 1 1/2 inch tolerance meaning it could be anywhere from 1 1/2 inches too small up to 1 1/2 inches too large. 3 of mine were 1 1/2 inches too large and would not fit in the covers at all. I tried forcing one and was worried that the zipper was going to break. I called and they said they would not do anything about it because it was within their tolerance levels. I spent over $200 on 4 cushions and they will not do anything. The information on tolerance is not where you order, nor is it in their instructions for measuring. It is on the website, but it is not in an obvious spot and when I mentioned that I didn't see it, I was rudely told that as a customer, I should know you have to read everything on a website before ordering anything. read more

I purchased a queen size 3" 5lb memory foam topper with a cover. When it arrived the cover was coated in a chalky layer that made me itch just from unpacking it. It also made the pads on my fingers feel smooth. I washed the cover but it didn't help. I called them and was told that it was impossible for it to have arrived that way and that was that. Several months later I sent an email simply to find out if it was just memory foam dust from the factory. Hoping I could figure out a way to possibly use it. I received an extremely rude reply telling about how clean there factory is. Well, it's obviously not that clean. Or there is a serious problem with the covers they using. If you have allergies or are sensitive to dust particles I would definitely skip this company and their customer service. I have used this company for porch furniture cushion inserts awhile ago and for sofa cushion inserts just recently. I had measured the porch cushions myself using the company's online instructions and they came out perfect. I wasn't sure about how to measure the sofa cushion covers so I asked the Foam Factory customer service for help. Haley was very accommodating, telling me which was the best cushion insert to have made and to send the covers to them for measurement and stuffing. Waste of time! I had a large order for over $2,000. After getting all the specs and details from Nicholas I was able to find a competitor. On every email I've received and also included on their website it states "We beat all competitor prices by 10% - talk to a customer service specialist today!" They do not follow through and I was told I'd have to find my own way to ship it out myself! I had a horrible experience ordering from them. I received my package back in December and chose to not open it right away as I hadn't gotten to the point in my project where I needed the foam ordered and wanted to be able to keep it nicely packaged (foam expands once you open it up so I didn't want to have to store it once it was all expanded). I put trust in this company that I actually reviewed my whole order which was a horrible mistake as when I opened my package I was missing part of my order. I reached out to customer service and they basically said that they would not send a replacement because apparently there is a 30 day window to ask for replacement items. There is nowhere that said that there was only a 30 day window to get replacements. They claimed that there was a paper on the box that said to open immediately to check to make sure that all items were received (there was no such paper on the box but there had been a paper seemingly ripped off the box and only half the paper was remaining so maybe that is where this policy was stated). Once they told me they would not replace the items that were missing because of the non existent warning on the box I filed a PayPal dispute to attempt a refund on the items that I didn't receive. They did end up offering to send a replacement after I had already started the PayPal dispute but quickly after I was blocked from ever purchasing from their website again (not that I would ever order from them again but it is very unprofessional since you refused to replace the items I never received and was just trying to resolve the problem another way since they said no). This is a scam of a company that would rather block a customer that didn't receive their whole order than admit they're wrong. From reading Reddit threads this seems like a common occurrence from this company of them not sending full orders and then being difficult about replacing it. They have low prices because they scam people out of half their order and don't make good on it. I wouldn't support this company as they are not a trustworthy business, not to mention that what was received was subpar quality. Pay the little extra to receive much better quality foam from a trustworthy site. read more

We replaced the seat cushions on our couch with custom cut Lux foam from Foam Factory and are very happy with the result. The original seat cushions had become worn and flattened. It made the whole couch look worn and it was getting uncomfortable to sit for long. Now, with the new seat cushions the couch is much more comfortable and looks a lot better. The new cushions have added years to the life of the couch. The price was reasonable, especially for the results. At first I was concerned about ordering on line. In the past, for other cushions/pillows, we have gone to a foam store in our area that has since moved. We would bring the item to be filled, could test different samples of foam, and they measured, cut, and inserted the foam for us. So I was concerned about measuring correctly and choosing the right density. The directions for measuring on the Foam Factory site worked perfectly. Read some other reviews on line to help with choice of foam density. We went with the firmest, Lux, and got the dacron wrap thinking it would help protect the seatcover from any foam deterioration in the future and provide some cushioning if the foam is too firm. I personally like a firmer seat but noted some people think Lux is too firm for them. With the dacron wrap it is very comfortable for us. The cushions arrived about a week and a half after we ordered them, noting that time frame included a holiday, so could be faster at other times. The foam comes compressed and includes a note to open the package asap and let the foam sit for 24-48 hours to open to its full size. Our cushions expanded immediately (and safely, we were cautious given videos of foam mattresses knocking people over when unwrapped). We had no trouble inserting them into the covers and they fit perfectly. Would definitely order from Foam Factory again and recommend them if you are looking for foam products. read more

I placed an order for one cushion just in case and received it about two weeks later. As mentioned in some of the reviews, I followed the instructions on their website on how to place an order and also emailed to ask some questions ahead of time because the website lacks clarity and details. Knowing the details in my email, Haley didn't mention anything about measurements. The website says to measure the fabric cushion but no where on the site does it take into account if you have an enclosure in it. Therefore, I measured the fabric and got a much larger foam because of the wrap already on my cushion. I didn't have a problem cutting the foam to fit but there were a few more issues (on the companies side) that turned this into a mess. I followed what was suggested in the email from Haley and in the end I need to replace a 10 year old cushion fabric. Another terrible part of this is, the company is not helpful at all. The emails back and forth with them is very matter of fact, no help to figure out how to fix this, and no suggestions. I need to purchase the rest of the foam cushions and there is no way I would repurchase from them based on the customer service alone. Which is disappointing because the foam seems of great quality. My suggestion if you want to order from them is to reach out to them to get whatever you need in order beforehand. I was told by Haley that they don't help with measurements if you have any type of wraps around your cushion already, just FYI. And if you can, just buy one foam before placing a full order. read more

I had a terrible experience with them. I measured everything as their website recommended perfectly adding 1/2' to the measurements of the covers. I even called them to discuss everything exactly to make sure I did everything correctly. I ordered on their website and waited 2 weeks. Once I received my order I noticed the fit was incredibly tight which I thought maybe was normal but I had doubts. The foams sent were about 1" or more in length and width from sizes I placed yet the thickness was correct. Once I placed the cushions side by side they would not fit unsurprisingly. Since they had been sent too big and stretched out my covers. I contacted their customer service and they asked me to send them back along with our covers to make sure the measurements were correct. About a week later once they received them they contacted me saying that the upholsterer said it would cost me almost $300 more and stated that if they cut the length and width that they would have to make them thicker which made no sense as the thickness was correct. I said I would not pay more if the upholsterer messed up in measuring the correct sizes. After a couple messages back and forth with Haley and Veronica I asked to speak to the manager. Instead the upholsterer called me. He hard a hard time speaking English as he was Italian and basically said the same thing. He would charge me more as the work was very difficult. I told him this was not my mistake. They should take responsibility for their mistake and fix the problem. He would not admit his mistake and persisted that I took incorrect measurements. He finally decided he would give me a refund and as he put it "everybody wins." I said I don't win as this whole process has left me without a couch for weeks. He didn't seem to care or want to even work with even lowering the price so I decided on the refund. He also refused to connect me with the owner stating the owner didn't speak English. THEY WILL NOT SEND MEASUREMENTS YOU ORDER, IT WILL BE LARGER!! They SHOULD put in large letters when ordering that they can have a TOLERANCE of 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches DIFFERENCE on EACH MEASUREMENT. The item will not fit if you follow their directions to measure the cushion cover because that was what I did with the arch shape. If I wanted someone to measure something with this tolerance, i would have just ordered a big piece and cut it myself. I didn't even know this yelp existed or I would have stayed away from thefoamfactory.com as their customer service was non existent. If you email photos to their customer service, they will not receive it unless you mail it by Google drive or other forms with a link because their email can't receive large files which should also be disclosed when they ask for photos from you. Because I sent 3 emails and never heard from them and they were never bounced back but I learned after calling them that they can't receive large files. So my chaise cushion was off on all sides as you can imagine due to their tolerance and mistake on 2 measurements making it curl up inside and not being able to lie flat inside the cushion cover. I emailed Veronica the photos and she said I can send it back and pay $29.99 to get it fixed and a link on how to shrink wrap this item to get it corrected and that didn't seem fair to have to pay for their mistake and try to get this back in this box that was about to bust to begin with. Would not recommend unless you want to account for their tolerance but you can imagine like a pair of shoes or pants that an 1 - 1 1/2 inch extra on each side makes a difference where it's too big (even though your skin can fill out but not that much and so the foam is the same). The foam is a good one so far so we kept it but had to pay a local upholstery shop to fix the mistake which was a total hassle but the shop was able to cut it in one day. read more

I got my delivery of foam. I was rather dreading that it would not be firm enough, but I have to tell you how delighted I am!! The cushions on my loveseat were getting so bad we had to put pillows on the top at times, otherwise it was like we were sitting on low kindergartener chairs! I bought the loveseat second-hand and didn't think about how used the cushions were, so after two years it needed an upgrade. I did some research and found this company. Never looked for reviews actually, just a company that made cushions. I followed the directions and after some thought I selected the hardest density because I just wanted to make sure they lasted. Thankfully, Amy emailed me asking if I was sure I wanted that density, that I may want to go down one level. I took her advice because I figured she knew more about the product than me and I'm glad I did. I'm going to post a before and after. The before is just the left cushion I'm sitting on. I had already discarded the old ones in the garbage but fished one out for the "before" picture. I plan on getting new cushions for my sofa later this year. I purchased foam tubing on line for a home project in 2018. I needed more of the same tubing, though only had minimal information on my past order. I contacted the company through their on-line portal and shared what I had. I received a quick response and they shared a copy of my original order. I was able to re-order what I needed. The price was reasonable, the shipping fast. I use this foam tubing in the sides of furniture covers I had custom made to protect wear and tear of the seats of our furniture by our 2 Scottie Terriers. The foam tubing is inserted in the back and side pieces, which helps them stay tucked to the side and back of the cushion despite people and pets getting up and down on the seat cushions! When I wash the furniture covers, I leave the foam in.... and tuck any that dislodge during washing before popping them in the dryer. We initially used 6" pieces on the sides and 12" on the back, and changed to 2 feet each for each. They worked out well.
