I was in need of exterior paint on my home after 18 years of sun beating on it. I searched and researched. Reach out to several places. Brian (Owner) contacted me and scheduled an estimate as well. Brian understood my work schedule and emailed me an estimate after visiting the house. We scheduled the date. Date got pushed back a week the day before start which wasn't a big deal. I'd rather a business communicate and take their time than rush. Start day came and Bill showed up for prep. Walter then showed up. They were timely, explained everything and on one day found I had a bee hive. They were meticulous and did an outstanding job! They even took the old shutters (which weren't going back up) to dispose of them. They filled holes, fixed stucco, prepped surfaces, washed everything, etc. Very thorough job. Walter was an absolute machine! I've never witnessed anyone work as hard as him. He seemed to almost never stop or take a break. They removed and replaced my solar screens as well. Painted the garage doors, front door, side gate, sanded and painted all wood and metal matching original colors. Brian took a deposit and then remaining balance payment upon completion of the job. Quoted price was beyond reasonable and the work was outstanding! I highly recommend American Paint if you need your house done. I guess I'm officially now a member of the 5 star review club for American Painting. In 2025, they painted my mom's stucco house both inside and out. I was super impressed with the amount of prep work they did outside to ensure a quality result and it yielded results that were absolutely perfect. The work included repair of some stucco spots and fascia boards. They did a good job inside too. Brian was my main contact and he was responsive, honest, and straightforward. We are very pleased with how our exterior painting turned out. The quote was very fair and they were flexible with scheduling. The crew was very detail oriented and was always working while they were on property. They were also respectful of the property and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. My favorite part of the whole job was the stucco repair that was done at my entry door. We had the entry door replaced and the company that installed the door installed it with a wood trim that wasn't flush with the stucco. American Painting came in and removed the wood trim, repaired the stucco, and repaired the remaining trim. It looks so much better! read more

Amazing job by Brian and the crew. They spent several days prepping my house by power washing, filling in cracks in the stucco on my house and walls. Really happy with the entire crew and the final results are perfect. My neighbor happened to get their house painted the same week and the painters did everything in less than 2 days and used spray cans on sticks to get to some areas. To see the difference between a real professional team and a cheap get it done fast group was very apparent. Absolutely amazing ! Brian's quote was "very" reasonable but we never imagined just what they would do for that price? I have never seen a company with employees that were so articulate in their work. Most would have just come in and slapped the paint on and called it a day, but not this company, the prep of our house "before" they even picked up a brush was incredible ! They started by power washing the house and our block walls (we have an acre completely fenced by block walls) then the hand scrapping began, and they were so particular not to miss a spot of peeling paint, then they primed the whole wall. WOW ! The underneath of our eaves were a mess but they scraped until they looked good , we also had rotting wood on a stretch of our eaves that had to be replaced , they did such a great job on it you would never know it was replaced. All small cracks on the rest of the eaves were filled and look great. Our last paint job was done with some kind of coating which was coming off in several places they not only patched it they managed to hand match the texture. Not only do we highly recommend this company but we've already hired Brian and his guys again to come back and paint all of our black rod iron fences, gates, security gates ,etc. which is all over our property. Don't let anyone else paint your house until you've at least checked this company out, not only would you miss out on a great price but you would miss out on an unbelievable job well done. They were also the third estimate we received before choosing a professional to paint the exterior of our 2-story stucco home, wherein we decided on three separate colors. We chose them not only based on their reasonable price, but also given their 31 years in business. Their work was prompt, professional and they paid attention to detail. We got an estimate on a full exterior paint job and had signed the contract for the work. American Painting did not keep their commitment after putting us on their schedule in May because they stated they were "too busy" doing work for a contractor. We waited through the summer because we didn't want to paint during the hot months. I called Curt again in October and asked about being but on the schedule. He never returned a call to me. I have seem some other reviews for the month of May and jobs that they were able to accomplish for other customers. I have owned my home for quite a long time and first encountered this company about 10 years ago. The work that they did then was exactly what I wanted and the price was right therefore, when I decided to paint my house this year I chose this company. From the first time I dealt with them, I was pleased that the person who bid the job listened to what I wanted instead of telling me. I'm a bit strong minded and I have come in contact with many contractors who basically want the job and want to get it done the fastest and cheapest way possible. This doesn't work for me. I requested a particular brand of paint instead of the contractors grade many would use and got what I asked for. There was no pushback or trying to talk me into anything else from the person overseeing the job. This reassured me that I could seek his advice and get a reliable answer. Each day that the paint crew was on the job, the person in charge (Curt) was back and forth, even brought the workers lunch each day. This gave me an opportunity to approach him if I had any questions. I was given a detailed work order of what would be provided and what may possibly be necessary so that there was no surprises in work or the price. The crew arrived fairly early in the morning and worked steadily up until mid afternoon. Before leaving, they cleaned up up everything, leaving nothing for me to do. The prep work before the painting began was excellent. People passing by paused to comment on the time that the crew spent to do the prep work. All together,I think it took 5, maybe 6 days. Possibly after leaving my house, they went on to another job, I don't know but I do know, they took the time to do a good job on my home. I was once again very pleased. I might also mention, I had a small area near the entrance to my house that needed some repair work. One of the painters provided these repairs and did an excellent job for a very fair price. In addition to painting my house, I requested to have all my stucco block walls,front, back and sides painted to match the house. This is a company that believes in satisfying the customer. The price was more than fair for the work done. I will use this company again when I paint the interior of my home. read more
