We had a wonderful experience with Vickers Painting Service. My husband mostly interacted with the owner, who was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house prep and painting was done by 2 guys. The painters were very professional and attentive to details. I'm amazed they didn't get paint on areas that weren't supposed to have paint. They accidentally knocked down our house number sign, but they were honest about it and fixed it right away. The paint job on our house is impeccable. We have seen other houses on the block that had to get new paint jobs as well per HOA, and their paint jobs are not as clean. Our guy gave us a good deal with great service. Received notice from the HOA that we were in violation because we didn't paint our home by due date of Dec 31 2017. And like our neighbors, we waited until May 2018 to make color choices and call painting companies for bids. One of the companies we called was Vickers as they painted the home across the street from us. The other company we called painted the homes of my other neighbors across the other side of the street. As we compared the paint job for both sets of homes, we could tell that the paint done by Vickers looked far better while the other set of neighbors, their paint started to lose its luster after only 6-months. Between the two companies, Vickers, initially was a no show no call for the estimate while the other paint company was early and waited outside our home for their appt time. After calling Vickers, my husband rescheduled and this second time, they did show up. Initially our quote was $1 per square feet. However, we saw our next door neighbors talking with another paint company. My husband called Vickers to see if they would give us a group discount if we would go with and they said they would. After our next door neighbors got their quote for their homes, we each saved $200. We were hoping to get our home painted in May to beat the summer heat but Vickers had a lot of other jobs. We scheduled our home to be painted in June. The group of men That painted our homes were champs. I couldn't work in that kind of heat but these guys did and remained professional. Absolutely great customer service. AND, they worked from 9am to 9pm! I felt exhausted for them. Part of their service is to repair the stucco of the home. I was a little worried that all the missing stucco over years would go uncorrected but they fixed it all! At first I was going to give Vickers 4-stars because of the no call no show initial appt but they sure made up for it. But no excuse, I've read some of the other comments of missing appts so I do hope you address that. Customer service is not only the paint service you provide but starts from the very beginning, that initial call and initial visit. But since you kept the other two appts, on schedule for painting and did a fabulous job, and that I love the look of my home, 5-stars for Vickers. read more

So my HOA sent me a letter saying I have to repaint the accents below and on top of my window that faces the street. They even took a picture of my house with the fading paint (talk about petty). My HOA is the type that wants blemishes corrected within two weeks. I got a quote from multiple paint companies and I wasn't impressed nor did I feel like their prices justified the work that was posted in their reviews. Anyways, I spoke to the owner of Vickers & I texted them the paint code that was approved by my HOA. I let them know that I work in a hospital which means I'm gone for 12 hours out of the day. Vickers told me that they could come out and paint my window accents & I can just pay them on Zelle. We agreed for them to come on a Monday. I didn't hear back from the painters so I texted them asking if they still had plans to come. Turns out they did come to paint my window but just forgot to text me when they were done! They even left the remaining paint can next to my front door for future use. I got home and looked at my window accents & they look great. The paint was even, no sloppy jobs or anything. I have to admit that I never expected you to spray paint the inside of the house which was a surprise. As it turns out not a very happy one. If you want pictures i have plenty of those which we can post or you can come and see for yourself. If you come, you can see that I am not exaggerating. Our wonderful HOA was requiring the entire neighborhood to get our house painted. I was dreading this process. However I walked around the neighborhood and saw so many different painters. I called and spoke to about 10 different painters. I went with Vickers because one of our neighbors said Vickers did a great job and I felt more comfortable after seeing a job they had already completed. I reached out and they were very communicative, price was average. The painters were super efficient, thorough and careful with the house. The good: great price, I got many 10+ other quotes and they were much higher than what they offered. They did a fantastic job on the painting - Walls, Brick wall. Doors, Gates, etc. They were very communicative and got the entire job done in 1 day They came back (after the initial painting) to paint 2 screens that were forgotten They left me with tons of extra paint They took all of the old wires and satellite dish off of my house The bad: They cut my internet lines, even though I was very clear on what lines not to cut HOWEVER they replaced the lines with new ones quickly and connected them very nicely to my walls (but I still have to figure out how to connect it to the lines inside my house, as it runs through my walls, which is a pain...) They didn't clean up the paint chips around my house, which I had to do (it was all stuck inside my artificial grass and such) There was a bad paint spot on my back door that was an eyesore that needed to be fixed. They came out to try to fix it, but it still was very noticeable. I ended up re-painting it myself Overall, for the price and the work, they were great. I will recommend them to family and friends.
