I used to buy silver n gold from online sites that I thought were good. I didn't realize how much extra I was paying for the service until I came here. A 100 oz bar of silver would cost over 3400 after taxes n delivery fees. When I could buy it from chuck for around 2900. They brag about 1 dollar to 1.50 over spot and don't include the taxes until after. Now I just go to chuck n he charges maybe 60 cents over spot with no other taxes. I've been dealing with chuck at APM for years. Selling scrap and buying gold and silver bars and coins. This guy is honest and his premiums are very reasonable. As far as the review that was complaining about him having a gun on his hip, that makes more sense than one under the counter. Under the counter doesn't deter a would be robbery. Out in the open probably keeps him from having to use it. And the comment about fake gold is absurd. If that were true this place would have been out of business years ago. It's not hard to figure out if gold is fake or not. I won't go anywhere else for my gold and silver. Highly recommended. Btw... I drive from ocean beach just to deal with him. read more

Great place to get a fair deal. I used to live nearby, now it's 50 miles away from my home. I make the drive without hesitation. It's worth it. Clean and decent people, unlike some other places. I think they are AKA APM Wholesale, at least that's the name on the building anyway. They don't care if you buy one ounce or a hundred which is nice because for smaller investors they treat you just the same. APM has the best prices in north county. Beats others by a wide margin on prices. Have never had any problems what so ever and the staff is friendly. Only problem I have is that they don't stay open later than 4pm and are closed on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Other than that I don't really purchase anywhere else unless I find a really good deal which is not very often. read more
