This place is a pretty big pawn shop. I've been going here for years and I always pick up something really cool when I'm there. A few years ago, I bought an array of different instruments from there: and accordion, and acoustic Bass, and a Flute. Even right now, there is a French auto-harp that I am interested in purchasing. They have a DVD section that is only $3 each, and I've picked up some pretty anime and Japanese titles throughout the years there. My last two purchases there were a $20 dollar Rice-cooker (which works great), and a $400 laptop which I am very happy with. Scott is such a human. he isnt numb to the everyday hustle of pawn stores that I've experienced at other locations and he is willing to work with you and HELP you out. not rob you blind for you items. I was in need of a loan recently and had no idea how I was going to stay afloat. it was very simple, I just needed to communicate my situation and ask for help. I was welcomed with open arms. he offered a loan rather than to buy my items. going back to the "being human" he understood I wanted to keep my belongings rather than offer me pennies to the dollar for them as my only option. when I went to get them back out he had them locked up in his safe and organized just as I left them. it was a breathe of fresh air knowing my stuff was safe, well kept and taken care of as if it was his own. it's a fair, professional location. making the long drive was an easy choice knowing I was going to be treated with respect and not looked down on for needing help. true professional!! I went in to get some extra cash for Christmas I was looking to pawn an 18k ring the guy said yes and was going on about the business than he asked for my ID well I guess I made the mistake of being a Military dependent because he said he "couldn't do it because I am a military dependent". Apparently there is a new law where they can't charge you over a certain amount interest so that guy proceeds to say "if I take your pawn than I can only make like $1 off of you so it's not worth it". I said "so you won't take my jewelry because I'm military?" He said " I just can't make anything off of you"! Unbelievable!!! So he couldn't rip me off so he'd rather not take my ring.
