I had a delicate gold chain in need of repair after a mishap involving a poorly-timed necklace adjustment while walking my dog one day. The gentleman who assisted me with the resizing of my wife's wedding band was super awesome. He had a genuine willingness to help my wife be able to once again wear her wedding ring. With my wife's now chunkier finger, he took off two beads that had been installed on the inside of the ring to fit her finger back then. If I could give Levante Jewelers 10 stars, I would! My fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring, but we were having a hard time figuring out which were the right design and diamond cut with the many options out there. Online vendors seemed to have better prices, but we soon realized it was hard to tell how it'd really turn out without seeing it in person, and we'd eventually need to get it resized. So, we thought we'd check out some stores to get a comparison. I couldn't be happier I found this place via Yelp. Right when we walked in, Susie (works at the front desk) was extremely friendly and helpful! Since I didn't know what I wanted, she let me start by trying on as many styles as possible. I felt like she took out every ring! Once I narrowed it down, Joe helped me custom design my ring. He was AMAZING! Best communicator ever. He'd call or text me periodically to keep me updated, and it went through 4 revisions before he sent off the drawings to be made. Joe was stern on making sure the ring was exactly what I wanted, even though I felt bad for commenting that I wanted the leaves on the band a bit thinner, etc. And, he'd make helpful comments such as letting me know that having a lower cage could hit against my finger (knowledge from creating jewelry for 40 years) if I went too low. He also added a lot of design work by hand all of the ring. This spot has very fair prices and Joe is extremely honest. He actually refunded me $200 once everything was done, since the design needed less diamonds than was originally estimated. How great is that???! All-in-all, I had the best experience at Levante. My engagement ring is exactly what I wanted and Joe finished the whole process in a few weeks (probably would have been sooner but I had small changes that I wanted). My fiance and I will definitely be going back to customize our wedding bands! Would highly recommend to anyone! read more

I was nervous about jewelry shopping because there's A LOT that goes into the gemology and overall esthetic. I was also apprehensive about who I can trust. However since Susie took her time and showed me various options and kept to my budget, I fell in love with a simple diamond tension setting wedding band!! Tension settings are very difficult to resize especially making it bigger. At first, Joe said he wouldn't do it because the ring would lose its originality but after he saw my disappointment and Susie (his wife) pleaded with him, Joe worked his magic and said he can taper it since it was a thick 18k white gold band. Joe even included this resizing in the price!! Normally starting at $75. My engagement ring will be around $95. Probably because my engagement ring is packed with gems. The man working there was so kind and helpful! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and the jewel came out of my ring. We were looking for a jeweler that did custom work and Levante Jewelers went above and beyond! They attached a new prong to my ring to hold the gem in and it looks like it was made that way already. Joe is GREAT!!!! He created a beautiful bezel for me for a colonial era gold coin. I drew out what I wanted the bezel to look like and supplied the gold from a ring of my grandmothers. He took care of it and it turned out better than I had hoped. At the same time he resized 2 rings for me, one gold, and one platinum. He even had to repair issues with the platinum ring that a mall store had messed up years ago. I had a few other small jewelry items repaired at the same time and all of the pieces were completed in a little over a week. I even paid for some of the repairs with some old broken jewelry.
