Pleasant Blood Donation Experience! Arrived for an 8:30 appointment and was helped right away. Nicole and Alexis provided friendly and professional customer service. The facility is clean and well maintained. Definitely found my new permanent blood donation location!

It's been awhile since I donated & I'm so glad I came. When choosing where to donate I selected this location thinking it was another location in Fullerton I've been to. Apparently the last location closed & this location is new. Apparently 3 months it has been open. Anyways I'm rating a 5 star because Lisa was just amazing. Shout out to Lisa :) In my personal experience I've donated about 10+ 15+ times. I'm not sure I don't keep track but anyways by far out of all my experiences in donating blood this has been the best one so far. I highly encourage my fellow Yelpers to think about donating. The need of donor blood is always there. I take great pride & feel so good after donating. To know my donation has a possibility of helping others really motivates me to keep on donating. Aside from feeling good about myself there are health benefits in donating as well. Before you donate you are given a mini physical which includes checking your blood pressure, pulse, & hemoglobin. You'll also get STI testing as well. Now to those that don't have a clue about why this is done, it's simple before your blood can actually be utilized by someone else they first make sure you don't have infectious diseases. Another awesome fact is that you'll get an email notification when your blood is actually used & the location it's used at. I've attached a few of the emails I've received as proof. I do however use the Red Cross App, I'm not sure if they only send this email alert to those on the app on that I'm not sure. I encourage you all to donate. I have a loved one that when they were alive needed donor blood, that has only fueled me to keep on donating because you just never know when someone you love will need it or you for that matter. It's also the patriotic thing to do in my opinion. Lord knows our military has needed donor blood, law enforcement, etc you name it. Be a hero & donate you'll feel good inside & get treated to some snacks afterwards

I found Orange County Rescue Mission and I love the support they provide for the community so I decided I wanted to give my donations to them. Orange County Rescue Mission is open Friday to Wednesday from 8am-5pm, Closed Thursdays. They have a convenient area for you to drive up, and their volunteers are super nice and will be more than happy to help you lift and unload your donations. Donation receipts available upon request.

I've previously had my donations picked up, or gone to donation bins, or dropped a few things off at Goodwill. Orange County Rescue Mission has a drive thru drop-off for your donations. I had 5 boxes, so a lovely gentleman brought a bin on wheels over and helped me put my boxes inside. He asked if I would need a receipt for my taxes but I politely declined. I do believe the items I donated had good value but I don't have much experience with taxes and previous receipts I've gotten usually end up missing by tax season. Prior to donating my things, I was able to go on their website and see exactly what items they accept. This helped a LOT because there were actually a lot of items I wouldn't have even considered donating like unused toiletries. I would probably try to give them to a family member or a friend of perhaps end up just tossing it away. I'm really glad they provide a list of acceptable items for donating!! I hope other people who wish to donate items really do READ lists such as this one, so they are aware of what can be donated. I just remembered people from my past who would try to donate opened foods, & insisted they were still good because they were non-perishables. Some people just don't know you can't donate ANYTHING. I don't understand people who donate things that they wouldn't use, if the same or similar item were donated to them (in the same manner). Some behaviors are perplexing. Anyway!! I LOVE this place and I'm currently working on filling up another 3 boxes. I'll have to go buy some more boxes so I can start sorting through my storage unit as well!! I do have a few questions on some items and what condition they must be in to be accepted for donation. I'm pretty sure they had a number on the same page that I could call and ask, which I will be doing, just haven't gotten around to it yet! I'm really happy I found this place & recommend others to donate items & volunteer here if they have the time! (:

As such, I find them to be a better alternative to Goodwills and Salvation Army because the money from their thrift store goes back directly to the communities they are physically located in. The website says they accept donations until 3 pm so I arrived around 2:50 pm and a woman told me they stopped taking donations at 2 pm and to return on Tuesday when it was more convenient for them. I told her I only had two bags of clothes and she made an annoyed face and begrudgingly let me drop off the bags while schooling me about how the cutoff is at 2 pm. Um, maybe update your website?! I needed to get those clothes out of my house so I donated the bags, in any other situation I would have taken my clothes, some of which were new with tags, elsewhere. From reading the reviews, I can only conclude that there is a pattern of disrespect and unprofessional behavior. The only other time I've been here they were having a jewelry sale and I witnessed one woman yelling at another volunteer in such a demeaning/condescending manner that I almost left, then she snatched the paper bag with my merchandise from me since she hadn't cooled off from belittling her colleague. Perhaps these ladies should spend their free time taking courses on etiquette and good manners instead of doing the community a disservice with their presence at this establishment. Next time, I'll just drive to Costa Mesa to donate to Laura's House, the staff there are friendly and the clothes are actually cuter and more like what I wear anyway.

But this school really helps kids from infants to their adulthood with learning disabilities. The preschool, in particular, is for everyone. What is really helpful, they use the same helpful techniques for children with learning disabilities in their curriculum. It is like equipping the teachers with super learning powers. It is really to accelerate the learning process. I love how diverse the students who attend this school and teacher ratio is amazing. You have the option of sending your child in for 2xs or 3xs or 4xs or the full the week. The cost to send your child there is extremely reasonable. I was so surprised! Their school schedule is like Centralia's school schedule and has summer school as an option. The only reason why my son has not enrolled yet is my son is receiving certain services from our insurance that is practically the whole day. Once those services go away, we certainly enroll him. I would just schedule a tour and once you go on it, you will be thrilled and ensured that you want your child to attend their preschool program. Oh yeah, their OT class gym is amazing. You should ask for it when you go on the tour to check it out.
