Mr. Mahano and his crew are very good and I am very happy with the service. His web site and on-line payment service is great.

This is copy and pasted from my Google review…read more Beware. I would recommend going with another company. Our experience with Pac Pools has been less than ideal. I will say though, I have nothing against Clay and his team, they are nice people. They did our pool in '22/'23. The first issue was the pool tile. We had selected a fire clay tile that had a 16 week lead time. They had plenty of time to order the tile, told us they would order it all etc. Well, the tile didn't get ordered, so we had to choose a different more readily available tile. No big deal, things happen. But, as a contractor myself, if I don't order the custom veneer plywood to build cabinets before it comes time to install, I'm in trouble. But again, things happen, we get something close enough, move on. They finish our pool and a few months later our pool is getting incredibly cloudy after just 1 day of our 3 kids having swim lessons in it. Like disgustingly cloudy. We call them, they come out, shock the pool, give "reasons" why, too many kids peeing in the pool is the main one. I don't really believe that, but months go by, they're out every week shocking the pool etc. I call dolphin pools out, they take one look, about 10 minutes, and they find the ozone generator isn't where it's supposed to be in its output levels. So we hire Dolphin, pool has been crystal clear since. Then almost a year later, the tile on the pool cover bay starts peeling up, not sticking on the steel trays they are mounted to. And then the nosings start falling off. I call the tile people, Buena Tile, they say, never happened before but she replaces the 3 nosings for free. Great customer service. Then 4 more fall off. I call Clay. He comes out tells me it's specific to our jobsite and he won't cover the material. But he will be generous and do the labor for free. I have since had 2 pool contractors out and 4 tiles guys. Everyone is appalled and very clearly labeling a failed installation job on PacPools. The steel trays they are in, are not scuffed up to allow adhesion, don't have wire meshing welded to them for adhesion. They do have little strips of 1/4" material to provide surface area for adhesion, but those are glued on with a PL type of construction adhesive, and they have all failed and come up. So we have had to spend $5k ordering new material to replace the material that was poorly installed in the first place. The tile guys here installing them now are actually using the same exact trays, but will weld the mesh to the tray and do it so it won't fail. All of these things on their own are issues that can come up with any job. Crap happens. It's the lack of accountability, constant excuses, blaming of "jobsite conditions" "too many kids in the pool" etc etc, that really gets under my skin. I prefer to do business with people that take accountability when and where it needs to be done. My wife and I are both patient and reasonable people. But this all is just too much. There are people out there with companies that are better managed and I suggest you look into them before signing with PAC Pools. They will not be back to our house to do work, even if it is free. I don't trust them to be able to do the work right. The pictures here are of the tile that I personally, the home owner, repaired. And those repairs have lasted longer than the install job pac pools did. There is also a picture of how our new pool, that we spent $350k+ on, looks on 9/3/26. Almost exactly a year after the first nosing dropped off with me having done 4 repairs. 3 more nosings have fallen off. So. BEWARE. EDIT, turns out there is a review on here with 4 stars from Anya that is a photo of our pool!!!!!! Sketchy!!!

Most were good , some not in regard to price and effectiveness of repairs. About 10 years ago I saw David's truck out front of a neighbor's home. I gave him a call to set up an appointment. He came over and told me exactly what the problem was, the price and when he was available. His price was competitive and lower than others I had used in the past. Over the years he has provided professional, quality and technical service. Once I had a variety of problems he walked me through which I should fix first then perhaps wait on the others. In the end he fixed it completely. He's a patient listener, kind and extremely knowledgeable due to his long years of experience. He schooled me as to which chemicals to buy to maintain my spa. I most recently saw that my spa was leaking. I called him and he came right over the next day. Of course the spa was suddenly completely dry and showed no leaks. He had me fill the tub to its proper level of water. Suddenly it started leaking. He located the problem and fixed it I very highly recommend David for any of your spa needs.
