I don't often write reviews, but after having several subpar pool services, I really wanted to let others know that there are some pool services out there with integrity.... It's been a real pleasure getting to know Jordan of Bella Blu' Pools and having him service our pool. After just two weeks, Jordan had our pool looking better than it had looked in years; and he's kept it up. Jordan gets it... he not only understands the chemistry of the pool, he understands that a key to keeping the pool up and algae-free is brushing the plaster with the proper brush. Our former pool service, would use a shortcut by using the plastic frame on the pool leaf rake, which is too harsh and can damage old plaster, and it isn't effective in removing the algae spores. We really appreciate Jordan's dedication and work ethic. Recently, when he went on vacation, he arranged for his brother, John, to take care of our pool. John also did a great job. It's reassuring to know that if he goes on vacation, which he deserves to do, that he arranges to have his services covered. I know that if Jordan says he's going to show up, he will; or, he'll call or text to let us know that he can't that day, but will be by another day. I also have come to trust that Jordan will do his best to keep our pool in check. He answered my call right away and was very friendly and efficient. In fact just by sending him a photo of the electrical box he was able to tell me exactly how to fix my problem over the phone. Even after giving me his time and expertise he didn't charge me! The least I could do was Venmo him 50 bucks to thank him on saving me hundreds of dollars and a lot of time. I don't usually leave reviews, either good or bad, but in this case I just had to write a glowing review. After our prior pool guy left the business, I answered a marketing contact card that was left in our mailbox claiming expertise and local service. He came out, met me and spoke a big game. Not to be. Since hiring him, we have struggled through the past 6 months with a pool cleaner who claimed he had vast experience with equipment and pools. Within the first month, I knew otherwise. Not only could he not maintain our equipment, our once beautiful pool became a green sludge pot that he claimed was caused by minerals in the water or from the ducks that liked to visit. My bills were upwards of 350 per month so I was paying for premium services. Every week when he would arrive he would leave the pool looking worse than when he came. You could not even see our once shiny blue tiles in the pool. After my constant complaints, I finally had enough when he said he was sending our water out for special lab testing as there was something very wrong with the chemistry of our water but that it would take a few days to get the results. When I asked him to share the results with me, he made another random excuse that he didn't have them back yet. Very suspicious that he had no clue what he was doing, I looked on yelp and found Bella Blul' Pulls. They had 16 reviews and a 4plus rating. My other guy had a 5 star rating but only one review..... so, beware to all of us and make sure there are many review. In any event, Jordan from Bella Blu, answered my call and came the very same day (Friday), that I called him and he spent several hours over 3 visits in two days and had the pool back to normal within 36 hours. He said the chemistry of the water was not that bad but my guy just handed backwashed the system. In any event, I am thankful to Jordan who has restored our pool to be enjoyed this summer. We were in need of start-up and maintenance for a pool that had just been re-plastered at a house we were preparing to sell. I called Bella Blu Pools and Jordan said he would come take a look right after another job. True to his word he was there in less than two hours. He got right to it, spent quite some time that first day and has been maintaining it beautifully while we wait for escrow to close. Just completed a lot of work to get my pool ready for start up and discovered my pump wasn't working. Started by contacting Bella Blu' via Yelp as it was nearby. Since it was Sunday I figured I'd be hearing back Monday, but Jordan called within minutes. I could not recommend Jordan and Bella Blu PooIs more highly! I recently had a series of issues with my pool that my regular pool service was at a loss to fix. I purchased a new automated vacuum for my pool to help deal with the regular debris from trees and it ended up initially causing all sorts of problems. The suction to the vacuum was inconsistent and eventually it messed with the overall suction of my pump. Algae started to build up and then the pump stopped working altogether. In a week my look was totally green. My regular service couldn't fix the issue but they did know enough to call in Jordan to help. Jordan came just a few days before my sons scheduled birthday pool party and quickly got the situation under control. Not only did he he address the algae problem, but he fixed the suction issue, got my new vacuum humming, and taught me a few basics that have helped keep the pool in good shape. Birthday party saved. Jordan is like the Wolf from Pulp Fiction but for pools. The most important thing to call out is that he cared and took the time to find a solution. He really knows his stuff and is a super nice guy as well. Can't recommend him highly enough. read more

Do not recommend. Jordan abruptly stopped cleaning our pool without notice and it turned green. We were in the process of selling the house. He had been fully paid at the time. He wouldn't return calls or texts. We had to find another pool service for emergency clean up of the pool. Caused us great anxiety since we were out-of-town and the buyer's lender was appraising the house that week. We got it cleaned in the nick of time.
